Moscow Urges Parties to Yemen Conflict to Stop Combat Actions

from Sputnik

Russia will continue to stay in contact with all parties involved in the conflict to quickly find a way to peacefully settle the conflict, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry urged parties to the conflict in Yemen to cease any military activity, according to the ministry’s official website.

“We believe it is highly important that all parties to the conflict in Yemen and their foreign allies stop any military actions and abandon any efforts to achieve their goals in a military way. We believe that severe contradictions in Yemen can be settled only through a nationwide dialogue,” the ministry said.

Moscow also expressed serious concerns over the latest events in Yemen.

The Iranian foreign minister has called on Saudi Arabia to immediately cease its military aggression against Yemen.

“We demand an immediate stop to the Saudi military operations in Yemen,” Mohammad Javad Zarif said in an interview with Iran’s Arabic-language al-Alam news network on Thursday.

Zarif said the military operations constitute a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and will only lead to bloodshed.

“We will spare no effort to contain the crisis in Yemen,” Zarif said.

Saudi-led strikes on Yemen against intl. law: Analyst

from Press TV

Press TV has conducted an interview with Seif Da’na, professor at the University of Wisconsin from Chicago, for his take on the airstrikes by Saudi Arabia and its allies against Yemeni people.

Da’na warned that the assault might amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity in Yemen, because the attackers have no right to enter the Yemeni airspace in the first place, let alone kill innocent children and civilians.

At least 13 civilians, including women and children, were killed in the Saudi-led air raids overnight, a Yemeni source said.

“Just last month, a resolution that was proposed by the Saudis and other countries in the region to the Security Council failed to pass. So there is no international legitimacy,” the analyst maintains.

He further argued, “The only kind of legitimacy they claim to have is that they have consulted with the US and they have the US support and some sort of green light from the US, but such  coordination with the US doesn’t give any legitimacy to such an act.”

New “Chlorine Gas Barrel Bomb” Propaganda Video Custom Made for Obama’s New “Red Line” in Syria – Kurdistan Waits in Wings

by Scott Creighton (H/T Nancy)

UPDATE: Go over to carinaragno’s website to read about how three U.S. servicemen were recently photographed in Kobani helping Kurdish separatists fighting against the Syrian government for their new Kurdistan homeland.

———-

Obama and folks like Rand Paul, are trying to take the northern half of Syria and give it to the pro-Western Kurds as part of their new Kurdistan. We can’t let them do it.

Two weeks ago the United States rammed through a seemingly meaningless resolution in the UN Security Council which basically said the legitimate government in Syria that Obama is determined to oust from office had better not drop barrel bombs filled with chlorine gas on their own people or Barack will start bombing the people of that country like he did when they made up lies about Gaddafi and started a “no fly zone” over there.

It was the “new” red line for Obama. You might remember the “old” red line for Obama involved the use of chemical weapons and just as soon as that was tossed out there, the “moderate” terrorists run by the likes of John McCain staged a nice chemical weapons attack and the Obama administration and all of the MSM tried to frame Assad for it. They failed miserably and it was all forgotten and forgiven. We still fund the “moderate” terrorist friends of John McCain who used the chemical weapons.

Two days ago a video surfaced which claims to show victims of exactly the same kind of weapon that was defined as the “new red line” for Obama. What a coincidence.

Foreign powers conspiring against people of Yemen: al-Houthi

(Looks like I was right about Washington staging another color revolution)

from Press TV

The leader of Yemen’s Shia Houthi Ansarullah movement has accused some foreign powers of conspiring against Yemen and its nation amid the political tensions in the Arab country.

Addressing thousands of his supporters in the northern city of Sa’ada on Tuesday, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi censured political factions in cahoots with some regional states, noting that they want to ignite conflicts and create problems in Yemen.

He added that such factions try to wreak havoc in Yemen by ignoring the public interests of the nation.

Al-Houthi warned conspiring factions against the dire consequences that their attempts would have at the end.

The Global Rise of the Radical Left in Opposition to Fascist Globalization

by Scott Creighton

I see in the future a crisis approaching that fills me with anxiety. As a result of the war, corporations have become enthroned, and an era of corruption in high places will follow. The money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its rule by preying upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is concentrated in a few hands and the Republic destroyed. ~ Abraham Lincoln.

Savage capitalism of the neoliberal IMF/World Bank “free market economy” persuasion is failing across the globe. From one nation to another, people are sick and tired of Ayn Randian philosophy and Milton Friedman/ University of Chicago austerity packages otherwise known as the Washington Consensus. There is another name for it.

The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is Fascism – ownership of Government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power. ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt.

It is with good reason that Ayn Rand hated FDR and with good reason Milton Friedman loved her so. They were both fascists.

All across the world, neoliberal globalization, or “corporatization” as some call it, is being exposed and rejected by the people it was designed to enslave.

What is rising in it’s place is a redefined, conscience, left-leaning awakening, an attempt to bring consideration for humanity and social/economic justice back into the systems of governance that steadfastly reject such primitive notions. Systems usually installed and directed by the billionaires and banksters I like to call the “masters of the universe”

Three quick examples will show how this movement is unfolding at a rapid pace right before our eyes with almost zero coverage from the MSM.
