Annexing Raqqa- Ethnic Cleansing & Where’s ISIS?

from Penny for Your Thoughts

Raqqa has been stolen from Syria by US backed proxies– The 5 eyes media calls it liberation. The report that Raqqa has been “freed” I call it annexation. Calling this annexation anything except what it is…. would be misleading. Obfuscating. Intentionally so, I would add.

Recall my mentioning the 5 eyes media calling the Kurdish terrorists “landholders”? More of that misleading language….

The annexation of Raqqa came at great cost to the civilian population- A fact repeatedly mentioned here- Not including the massive civilian casualties there are reports of nearly 300,000 internally displaced from Raqqa…

from Press TV

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) says last Daesh elements have been evacuated from their one-time bastion of Raqqah as part of an agreement.

“Last night, the final batch of fighters (who had agreed to leave) left the city,” SDF spokesman Mostafa Bali said on Sunday, not clarifying where the Takfiri terrorists had been transferred.

He also said Daesh elements had refused to release the civilians they had allegedly taken as human shield until they arrived at their destination.

(also: Iraq works with Turkey and Iran to take control of Kurdistan region borders. Iraq also holding military drills with Turkey)

from the Duran

In July of this year, Iraq and Iran signed a military agreement on future military cooperation which helps to solidify the fact that Iran is now Iraq’s most important international partner.

At the time, the agreement was thought to be primarily about Iraq utilizing Iranian military strength and counter-terrorism intelligence in the battle against Salafist/Takfiri terrorism.

Now however, it would appear that the agreement will also pertain to defensive measures against Kurdish secessionist in Iraq, something which Baghdad and Tehran oppose with equal resolve.

Sputnik reports,

“The Armed Forces of Iran and Iraq will hold joint border drills within several days, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Massoud Jazayeri said on Saturday.

‘The joint drills … will be held within several days in border areas,’ Jazayeri said, as quoted by the ISNA news agency.
