The New House Un-American Activities Committee is Right Around the Corner (and the lefties are cheering for it)

by Scott Creighton

For the record, I have never pledged allegiance to “ISIS” and will never pledge allegiance to “ISIS” no matter what some undisclosed law enforcement source says “off the record” or what some Facebook administrative undisclosed source says about my Facebook account.

Just putting that out there.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich proposed the creation of a new version of the controversial House Un-American Activities Committee to root out American citizens who plan to commit terrorist attacks in the U.S.
“We originally created the House Un-American Activities Committee to go after Nazis. We passed several laws in 1938 and 1939 to go after Nazis and we made it illegal to help the Nazis. We’re going to presently have to go take the similar steps here,” Gingrich said in a Monday appearance on “Fox and Friends.” […] In 1959, former President Harry Truman infamously called the committee “the most un-American thing in the country today.” TPM

There are currently about 350 million registered firearms in this country. About 10 million of them are AR-15 type weapons. Banning the sale of what they call “assault rifles” will do nothing to stem the tide of gun violence in America and legislators are fully aware of that fact. Of course, if you pay the mob to protect your business from fire damage and notice the next month there are far fewer fires started in your bar, I guess maybe it might look to an uninformed outsider that their fire insurance seems to do the trick while other, more worldly observers roll their eyes and say nothing.

“There are some 350 million guns in America, including as many as 10 million AR-15 rifles like the one used in Orlando. If Democrats want a ban to have any chance of working, they will have to vote for and enforce a nationwide program of confiscation. The ban Democrats are pushing would be meaningless.” WSJ

Yesterday, a congress critter used his special “I was in the military” super-power to suggest these “assault rifles” have no place on American streets. Thanks to the newly formed Veterans Coalition for Common Sense gun-grabbing lobbying group (led by convicted criminal Gen. David Petraeus and “death squad poster boy” Stanley McCrystal), the marriage of vets and gun-grabbing Dems seems to be taking off. He did so by posting a picture of him “making Iraq safe for Democracy” and holding onto an assault rifle while doing it.

I wonder what our Iraq “hero” turned congress-critter thinks about these assault rifles on American streets.

Hard to tell the difference between the streets of Iraq and those of Orlando sometimes, isn’t it?

I guess the congressman doesn’t care about these guys because they dress like he did.

So what is really happening here with this push for this legislation? What is it all about? Guns? Rights? A New House Un-American Activities Committee?

Getting warmer…

“It’s me. I’m the shooter” Ugga Bugga. Ugga Bugga Bugga… boo (can you count the lies?)

by Scott Creighton (H/T Dr. Didlio)

A News 13 producer named Matthew Gentili gives us a run-down of his day with “the shooOooOoooOooter”

Supposedly Omar Mateen called this skinny lying prick 50-something minutes into the hostage standoff and said “Do you know about the shooting? It’s me… The shooter… blah blah blah (in “Arabic”)… I did it for “ISIS””

Ah. There you go. So much for the missing motive. Wraps it all up. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Yep. That’s this shifty-eyed kid’s story that will eventually secure him a big-time spot at a major network station in a major market city. And you can believe him in spite of his shifty-little eyes.

In a tragic case of irony, while he was in the middle of doing this interview, Matthew Gentili called me up and he said, “Do you know about the interview?” and I said “Yes” [shifty eye, shifty eye, shifty eye] and he said “It’s me, the liar… blah blah blah (in pig Latin)… I did it for Obama… and a better job with benefits… and my own parking spot” [shifty eye, shifty eye, shifty eye]

Now, there is EXACTLY as much proof of my story as there is of his. EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT OF PROOF.

The FBI declined to comment on whether or not Mr. Gentili actually spoke with me the other day.

Does anyone recall the story about James Holmes telling that law enforcement officer “I’m the joker” when he was arrested? The story was complete bullshit. They eventually admitted it was bullshit.

Let’s watch the video and count how many times Matthew Gentili feels uncomfortable lying on camera. Let’s make it into a game, shall we?

Me? I count 10 lying tells from Mr. Gentili. Ten! That’s pretty good for a 1:30 interview.

“The FBI has not confirmed whether or not Mr. Gentili actually spoke to Mateen”

Yeah, I guess they wouldn’t.

I wonder if Mr. Gentili is old enough or educated enough to know what a “Mockingbird” is. I guess he knows now.

Thanks for the tip, Doc.

Pulse Mass Casualty Event: Media in a rabid push for fascist gun-control legislation I wrote about yesterday

by Scott Creighton

[see update at end of article]

Yesterday I wrote about the two main congressional initiatives being pushed in the House and Senate focused on changing gun laws in the country as a response to the Pulse nightclub shooting.

One sets up a commission to create a list of “mental defectives” who will not be allowed access to their second amendment rights ( H.R.1217 – Public Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act of 2015  ) .

The other, run by the Department of Justice, will use secret evidence to place citizens on a blacklist which will do the same thing  ( “No Buy No Fly” bill, HR1076 – Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2015, )

The current push in the media to vet these fascist pieces of legislation in the public mind comes after a 15 hour filibuster in the Senate which resulted in the Republicans agreeing to allow a vote on the Senate floor. Gotta prep the public for acceptance of the blacklist bills. Thus is the real purpose of the media profession.

We are now entering a phase here in the States where we are actually considering the legitimacy of allowing the government to create arbitrary lists in secret that revoke individual citizen’s constitutional rights based on someone’s interpretation of things they said, wrote or Tweeted.

Aside from the obvious effects this will have on an individual’s second amendment rights, it CLEARLY will effect their first amendment rights as well as people will be less likely to voice an unpopular opinion if doing so might end up putting them on a list.

The implications are staggering when you walk it through. Words like “thought-crime” and “Stazi” come to mind.

I argued that this is, or should be, unacceptable in a democratic republic as will certainly morph into violations of other constitutional rights for all kinds of people and I also pointed out that the timing of this process, right before the TPP, TTIP and TiSA are enacted, is a dead giveaway as too what the real purpose behind it is.

Today, the press is chocked full of pundits blathering about how we must get something done to protect the homeland. These fascist bills seem to be their focus. The push seems to be trying to get them passed in congress before anyone in the country remembers how much we opposed them last time they tried to pass them.
