Hey Clinton Fake-left Dems: See What Happens When You Turn a Blind Eye to a Stolen Nomination?

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: Some pundits are starting to figure it out. Here’s Captain Hindsight:

Why, oh why, did it have to be Hillary Clinton? Yes, she has an impressive resume; yes, she worked hard on the campaign trail. But she was exactly the wrong candidate for this angry, populist moment… She was the Democratic candidate because it was her turn…” Thomas Frank, Common Dreams

See that? It was “her turn” she didn’t win the nomination. It was just”her turn”. You also notice how dismissive this establishment hack is toward the populist movement in the country? You think he learned his lesson, this limousine liberal? I doubt it.

It should be noted on Aug. 15th Thomas Frank wrote: With Trump Certain to Lose, You Can Forget about a Progressive Clinton

The mood was clear and you had to be blind man or blindly sycophantic idol worshiper to miss it: the anti-establishment sentiment in the country was going to win the day. We saw that with Brexit, we saw that with Donald Trump winning the Republican Party nomination and we saw that with the tens of thousands of Bernie Sanders supporters showing up and working the streets every day and swarming to every rally like their lives and their futures depended on it. We saw it all and still when the establishment of the DNC stole the nomination from Bernie Sanders through a number of tricks and treats, the bulk of the dedicated Democrats CHOSE to say nothing. To remain silent.

And you can’t say we didn’t warn you. We did everything we could to show you how the nomination was stolen in state after state. We showed you exit polls that didn’t match results and what did you do? You stopped taking exit polls in the last couple of state contests. We showed you voter registration purges totaling millions of voters being separated from their right to cast a vote in the nomination process and you said “shut up”. Wikileaks showed you how the establishment serving DNC had their finger on the scale from the start on behalf of corporatist Clinton and DWS resigned (to take a paid roll on her campaign) and still you said nothing.

In poll after poll prior to Clinton claiming the nomination, Bernie Sanders beat Donald Trump handily while Hillary Clinton lost to him.

How much more obvious could that be?

Hillary was the ultimate establishment candidate and you guys were led to believe you had to run her for the office at a time when an anti-establishment wildfire is sweeping across the globe. And the people who sold you that lie, were the establishment.

And you think Trump supporters are dumb?

Bernie Sanders Abandons Clinton in Final Week

(Too little too late. Still a sellout is Mr. Sanders, a man who never opposed a single regime change operation that I can think of and a man who refused to stand with the Palestinians while the IDF was bombing them in Gaza.)

by Michael Sainato, the Observer

Sen. Bernie Sanders has begun to revert to his anti-establishment self as the end of the presidential election draws nearer.

Supporters have balked at a Sanders who supports Hillary Clinton, as she embodies the corruption and corporate influences that have transformed democracy in this country into an oligarchy. Sanders campaign events on behalf of Clinton have received poor attendance from supporters, especially in comparison to the rallies he held during his own campaign.

Rather than delay holding Clinton accountable to progressive ideals until she’s safely in the White House, Sanders has recently emphasized the importance of pushing her to do the right thing, as she can’t be trusted to do so otherwise. “This is not trust. We are not here to trust,” Sanders said in a recent interview with NowThis. “It is the very opposite of what I am saying, ‘oh, sit back, elect Clinton, and then trust.’ No, Mobilize. Educate. And if there are Democratic members of Congress, or if Clinton, when elected President does not go forward in doing the right thing, let them know how you feel about it.”

Sanders’ organization Our Revolution has started a petition for Clinton to oppose the Dakota Access Pipeline, in support of the Native Americans protesting the project.

Unsurprisingly, Clinton has remained silent on the issue, only recently issuing a scripted statement of neutrality after protesters camped out at her campaign headquarters. Sanders sent a letter to President Obama on October 28, pleading with him to intervene as he eventually did with the Keystone XL pipeline. Obama has approved two more new pipelines while attention is focused on the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Sheepdog Bernie Sanders stumps for Clinton in Michigan

from the WSWS

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders continued his campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in Michigan Thursday, making appearances in four cities. His stops included a United Auto Workers (UAW) union hall in Dearborn, the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan State University in East Lansing and a high school in Grand Rapids. He moves on to New Hampshire Friday.

The former Democratic candidate is seeking to rebrand his “political revolution” into a get out the vote effort for Clinton, the favored candidate of Wall Street and the military intelligence apparatus. However, instead of the crowds of thousands he addressed during his primary campaign, Sanders spoke before audiences of only several hundreds, largely made up of Democratic Party faithful.

The Dallas Morning News Endorses the Republican Candidate for President: Hillary Clinton

by Scott Creighton

The Dallas Morning News hasn’t endorsed a Democrat for president since before WWII but they have decided to endorse Hillary Clinton this year and did so with a front page editorial explaining why:

“As President Barack Obama’s first secretary of state, she helped make tough calls on the Middle East and the complex struggle against radical Islamic terrorism. It’s no accident that hundreds of Republican foreign policy hands back Clinton. She also has the support of dozens of top advisers from previous Republican administrations, including Henry Paulson, John Negroponte, Richard Armitage and Brent Scowcroft. Also on this list is Jim Glassman, the founding executive director of the George W. Bush Institute in Dallas.” Dallas Morning News

Their argument is that Donald Trump “is no republican” and I guess by extrapolation that means they figure Hillary Clinton is.

Her foray into the New McCarthyism, her support from various Bush-era war-mongering neocons and of course her love of all things neoliberal makes Hillary Clinton the best republican in the race according to the died in the wool republicans over at the Dallas Morning News. And they should know. They’ve picked republican for over half a century.

I hope before it’s all over, Bernie Sanders has to get on stage to hold up one of Hillary’s arms while Dick Cheney holds up the other one. Maybe then the Berners will know how to vote.

As Clinton escalates war threats, #SellOutBernieSanders begins campaigning for Democratic nominee

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will carry out his first official activity as a drum major in the Hillary Clinton marching band Monday, when he takes part in Labor Day events in Lebanon, New Hampshire in support of the Democratic presidential nominee. It will be Sanders’ first campaign appearance on behalf of Clinton since his dismal “unity rally,” also in New Hampshire, on July 12.

According to the press release issued by the Clinton campaign, “Sanders will discuss Hillary Clinton’s plan to building [sic] an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top, and Donald Trump’s plan, which would benefit himself and other millionaires and billionaires.”

Sanders’ campaign appearance for Clinton comes as the Democratic Party is seeking to transform the elections into a mandate for war and aggression. In a speech to the American Legion on Wednesday, Clinton threatened to respond militarily to accusations of Russian cyberwar and hacking, pledged to carry out a nuclear posture review as her first act as president and called for an increased in military spending to ensure US domination of the world. (See, “Clinton’s ‘American Exceptionalism’ speech: A bipartisan policy of militarism and war”)

The unDemocratic National Committee Convention Starts Tomorrow: LET’S GET READY TO RUMMMMMBLE!!!

by Scott Creighton

For those of you who read my RNC convention coverage, you might recall I was a little critical of it. I was critical of the ham-handed sappy WWE emotionalism they tried to provoke. I was critical of the deliberate missteps they took in order to shoot themselves in the foot at every turn. I was critical of their “CHANGE” candidate basically voicing his support for the Washington Consensus policies that created his base in the first place. I was critical of it with good reason.

But don’t be confused. I’m not one of these HillaryBots running around saying The Donald is Satan 2.0

Today over at the fake-left Huffington Post, they have a piece linked from Murdoch’s Washington Post written by chess grand master Garry Kasparov talking about how much Donald Trump reminds him of the other great boogie-man in the world today, Vladamir Putin.

One should remember Garry Kasparov backed the Ukraine color revolution… including all those damn neo-Nazis killing protesters and Ukrainian police officers on behalf of Barack Obama’s (and Hillary Clinton’s) regime change operation.

So no, I’m not in that camp. My criticism of the RNC event was based in reality, not breathless fear-mongering hyperbole like that put out there by Killary shills.

That said, I also wrote that the upcoming unDemocratic Party convention was going to make the RNC coming out party look like an episode of Kaptain Kangaroo by comparison.

And I do not disappoint, now do I?

Trumpapalooza? DonaldMania? StuperSlam2016? No Joy in Mudville

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: Question – Does anyone else think that Donald Trump is paying for his son’s future political career by throwing this election to Killary? Because the Donald Trump Jr. show last night had a very odd Obama 2004 feel to it, did it not?

Nothing of any consequence has taken place so far at the Republican National Convention this year apart from the most unpopular candidate in modern history being selected to run against an equally unpopular candidate from the “Democratic” side in the general election. At least the Dems can say, and accurately, that their disliked and distrusted pick stole the nomination. The Republicans, well, they did this to themselves.

It has been said by smarter people than myself that the only candidate that Donald Trump could beat would be Hillary Clinton and that the only Republican Hillary Clinton could beat is Donald Trump. Perhaps that explains why Hillary was allowed to steal the nomination from Sanders supporters and why she has been given a pass from the Justice Department, the State Department and the International Criminal Court (all of whom have more than enough reason and evidence to bring her up on charges).

laugh

Donald once joked that he could shoot someone on 5th Ave. in broad daylight and his idiot supporters would still back him. That’s a lovely sentiment in the abstract, but he has nothing on what Hillary has actually done and gotten away with. She giggled about her proxie army shoving a knife up the rectum of a beloved national leader and her brain-dead zombiefied followers still view her as some kind of “peacemaker” because she “negotiated a ceasefire” in Gaza after the IDF finally ran out of ammunition to fire at Palestinian women and children.

Let me just say this right off the bat: Trump’s job is to secure the White House for Hillary Clinton which is not that different from what Bernie Sanders’ job became in the final stages of his campaign. He was supposed to bring the real left back into the Hillary camp that is populated by the “Republican Lite” class of Dems while Trump’s job is to alienate as many factions of the Republican party as possible and serve as the “worse of two evils” option that scares Dems into holding their noses.
