US Troops Seen Wearing Patch of Kurdish YPG Death Squads in Syria (that’s SYRIA… not “Rojava”)

by Scott Creighton (H/T Penny)

Kurds generally consider Rojava to be one of the four parts of a greater Kurdistan, which also includes parts of eastern and southeastern Turkey (Northern Kurdistan), northern Iraq (Southern Kurdistan), and northwestern Iran (Eastern Kurdistan).[20]

Just a quick note:

It’s being reported that some of our Special Operations troops in Syria who are assisting the Kurds in their effort to bust off a piece of the country for their own, are now wearing arm patches of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), a group that Amnesty International accused of committing ethnic cleansing campaigns throughout northern Syria.

Here is a pic of the YPG flag.

People's Protection Units Flag.svg

Rudaw, Kurdish publication, reports the news this way:

At least one of the US special forces soldiers advising the Kurdish-led Syrian alliance fighting the Islamic State (ISIS) was photographed wearing the insignia of the Kurdish Protection Units (YPG), which the Pentagon says is common practice under such circumstances.

“Special operations forces, when they operate in certain areas, do what they can to, if you will, blend in with the community to enhance their own protection, their own security,” explained Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook on Thursday.” Rudaw

What Rudaw wont tell you is this: the YPG are vicious death squads who are actively ethnically cleansing northern Syria making ready their new nation, built by Barack Obama, Greater Kurdistan.

And now apparently we are making our troops wear YPG patches on their arms. Sometimes I’m glad my father didn’t live to see this shit.

A Mother’s Story Shows Us “ISIS™” In Syria is Nothing More than a British Regime Change Operation

by Scott Creighton

British citizen Maha Elgizouli and her two “ISIS” sons

A new revelation regarding the “ISIS™” characters in Syria expose the most visible of these guys as being British losers, probably recruited by MI6 to head over to Syria and destabilized the country via terrorism in a regime change operation started by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

In Syria, the “Beatles” gained a reputation as the cruellest of all ISIS guards, using electric shocks, waterboarding, and mock executions – including a staged crucifixion – to terrorise their hostages. They beheaded seven British, American, and Japanese hostages, including the British aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning, and 18 members of the Syrian army.” Jane Bradley, Buzz Feed

According to Jane Bradley of Buzz Feed, an accomplice of “Jihadi John”, the British “ISIS™” character who made all those fake beheading videos, has been identified as yet another British citizen. This one is a carney, 27-year-old El Shafee Elsheikh. According to the official story, he went to Syria to join “ISIS™” in 2012… a full two years before “ISIS™” was born.

Neocon Michael Rubin (pen name Peter Korzun?) Openly Calls for Military Coup in Turkey

by Scott Creighton

All those so-called “alternative” journalists out there who have been steadily regurgitating the anti-Erdogan rhetoric of this latest neoliberal regime change operation in the Middle East (and I am talking to you Lizzie Phelan and Steve Lendman) should take note: this is what you are supporting.

Yesterday Peter Korzun of the Strategic Culture Foundation posted an article in which he clearly calls for the military of Turkey to stage a coup in order to take control away from the elected government of the country and specifically, Recep Erdogan, because he is a “sultan”

In order to make his point on a so-called “progressive” “anti-war” and “anti-imperialism” website, Korzun chooses some rather suspect “experts” to help him make his case:

Michael Rubin, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and a former Pentagon officialpredicts an imminent military coup in Turkey. According to the expert, «Turks – and the Turkish military – increasingly recognize that Erdogan is taking Turkey to the precipice». Rubin believes that «he [Erdogan] has taken Turkey down a path in which there is no chance of victory and a high chance of de facto partition». According to him, «If the Turkish military moves to oust Erdogan and place his inner circle behind bars, could they get away with it? In the realm of analysis rather than advocacy, the answer is yes». Rubin writes, it is doubtful that the Obama administration would do more than castigate any coup leaders, especially if they immediately laid out a clear path to the restoration of democracy. Neither Turkey nor Greece lost their NATO membership after coups.

The Turkish military has long seen itself as the «guardian of Turkish democracy», which it defines as the staunchly secular state created by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the modern Turkish republic..” Peter Korzun

Yes, that is the same neocon Michael Rubin of the Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld days being quoted as a source by the “anti-imperialist” Peter Korzun in his article calling for an undemocratic military coup in Turkey.

Between 2004 and 2009, he was editor of the Middle East Quarterly. He has received fellowships from the Council on Foreign Relations,[3] and the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs.

Rubin has lectured in history at Yale University, Hebrew University, Johns Hopkins University, and worked as visiting lecturer at Universities of Sulaymaniyah, Salahuddin, and Duhok, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Between 2002 and 2004, Rubin worked as a country director for Iran and Iraq in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, from which he was seconded to the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq.[4]

And yes, a military coup in Turkey to get rid of the elected government and Recep Erdogan is exactly what Peter Korzun is calling for.

Fighting ISIS Not A Priority For Turks Or Kurds

by Abbas Djavadi, Assyrian International News Agency

… In the last few months Turkish forces intensified their air and cross-border attacks against ISIS militants. They have been doing the same, even more aggressively, with the Kurdish militant groups that they accuse of being an extension of Turkey’s Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) that has been raging a bloody war against Turkey for the last 32 years.

Turkey is a NATO ally of the West while the Kurdish regional government in northern Iraq as well as Kurdish militia groups in northern Syria (along part of the Turkish border) are the most reliable armed force for the West to fight against ISIS.

But the fact is that unlike in the West, fighting ISIS has never been and still is not Turkey’s No. 1 priority — that would be fighting PKK terror and separatism.

Kurdish militant groups also have their own agenda and priorities. But fighting ISIS is not their top priority either. They have used the Syrian civil war to take control of territories inhabited by Syria’s Kurdish minority and they are trying to expand that territory at the expense of other ethnic groups. They have even been accused of ethnic cleansing to reach their expansionist goal.

Their strategic goal seems to be to fill the gap of some 90 kilometers of the non-Kurdish part of northern Syria along the Turkish border. Ankara’s top concern is that this would mean expanding the Kurdish presence along the entire Syrian border, completing the ground for a “Greater Kurdistan” and even giving them access to the Mediterranean Sea.

Chaos and Depravity: Kerry Demands Syria Surrender to al-Qaeda and the Kurds

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: There is a video from 2013 showing our “moderates” in Syria executing a dozen or so Syrian soldiers in Aleppo who were there protecting a hospital from these monsters. This is a real execution video, not the fake kind they made for ‘ISIS” so it is EXTREMELY graphic. This is what our government supports in Syria.

UPDATE: In an interview, Seymour Hersh (quoted later in this article) says Syria is winning the war against the “moderate” terrorists of the U.S. and there is “no chance” of Assad stepping down. This puts Kerry’s ultimatum into perspective.

UPDATE: Assad explained yesterday how the U.S. has been and is still supporting terrorism in Syria. Iran promised to remain by Syria’s side as they combat our irregular warfare campaign.

“AlNusra Front, or Jabhat alNusra sometimes called al-Qaeda in Syria or al-Qaeda in the Levant, is a Sunni Islamist militia fighting against Syrian Government”

Sec. of State John Kerry recently demanded Basar al-Assad surrender the whole of Syria to the CIA’s “moderate” terrorists by Aug. 1st of this year “or else”. Primary “opposition” in the regime change operation is al-Nusra, an al-Qaeda off-shoot in Syria.

Writing for the AP, Bradley Klapper explained:

Secretary of State John Kerry warned Syria’s government and its backers in Moscow and Tehran on Tuesday that they face an August deadline for starting a political transition to move President Bashar Assad out, or they risk the consequences of a new U.S. approach toward ending the 5-year-old civil war (war of aggression).” Klapper

The Sec. of State made it clear, regime change is the desired outcome of the U.S. and they will settle for nothing less.

“The target date for the transition is 1st of August. So we’re now coming up to May. So either something happens in these next few months, or they are asking for a very different track.”

If Assad does not adhere to this, there will clearly be repercussions. One of them may be the total destruction of the cease-fire and then go back to war. I don’t think Russia wants that. I don’t think Assad is going to benefit from that. There may be even other repercussions being discussed. That is for the future.”

If Assad’s strategy is to somehow think he’s going to just carve out Aleppo and carve out a section of the country, I got news for you and for him: This war doesn’t end,”

As long as Assad is there, the opposition is not going to stop fighting,” John Kerry, Sec. of State for the Obama administration

How can Kerry be so sure the “opposition” wont accept a deal with Assad? How can he be sure al-Qaeda in the Levant wont cut a deal? Well that is quite simple: Kerry commands the opposition. He pays them. He trains them. He practically owns them, or at least, his friends in Saudi Arabia own them.

This new statement by John Kerry didn’t get much press coverage mainly because it proves that our interests in the country have always been about regime change and nothing else. It also infers our connections with al-Nusra or al-Qaeda in Syria.

His threat to expand the war (and with it the civilian casualty body-count) if there is no compliance with his demands, is something straight from the Dick Cheney playbook. Or the Hillary Clinton playbook from Libya.

Kerry then couched his demands by blaming Assad for a series of various terrorist activities, each and every one caused by the “moderate” terrorists he himself sent into Syria.

16 civilians killed, 68 wounded in terrorist attacks on Aleppo neighborhoods and a hospital

from SANA

UPDATE: The “liberal” Huffington Post covers this offensive in Western Aleppo without once mentioning how the “moderate” terrorists killed a single civilian.

16 civilians were killed on Tuesday and 68 were injured according to the most recent toll due to terrorist attacks with rocket shells on residential neighborhoods and a hospital in Aleppo City, SANA’s correspondent reported.

Earlier, a source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA reporter that terrorists fired 65 rocket shells on the neighborhoods of al-Neel Street, al-Siryian, al-Khalidyia, al-Mocambo, al-Sabeel and the surroundings of al-Rahman mosque leaving 11 civilians killed and 37 injured.

Dr Nabil Antaki, a Doctor in Aleppo, Condemns Corporate Media for Lies and Censorship

by Dr Nabil Antaki, from Hwaairfan’s Blog

“With regards to recent events in Aleppo, I state very clearly that the mainstream media are lying by omission. Since the beginning of the war in Aleppo that began 4 years ago, they have consistently failed to report all the facts.

All of us here in Aleppo are disgusted by their lack of impartiality and objectivity. They only ever talk about the loss of life in the east of Aleppo which is entirely controlled by Al Nusra, a terrorist group affiliated with Al Qaeda. These are their “moderate rebels” a title that affords them an unmerited degree of respectability.

This same media remains silent on the daily losses and suffering endured in the Western areas of Aleppo living under the rain of mortar fire from these terrorist factions.  This media never mentions the terrorist blockade upon our people or the electricity cuts and water shortages inflicted upon us by their “moderate rebels”
