Killing Us Softly: Here as it is in Britain, the War on the Disabled Carries On With Little to No Attention from the “Progressive” Left

by Scott Creighton

The war on the disabled has been going on in this current version, since Obama and congress passed a bill in 2013 which was very similar to the one Ronald Reagan passed in 1981 which was designed to kick people off Social Security Disability by the tens of thousands. That bill back in the early 80s killed thousands of people, just like left-cover Obama’s bill is doing right now.

I know because I am one of it’s victims. I write about it because I have to.

(I’ve written about this extensively and you can access the history of my writing on this subject under the “personal” and “war on the disabled” headings on the left side of the webpage.)

U.S. General Says They ” aren’t in the land grabbing business”: No Partitioning of Syria for the Glorious Contras… oops, I mean the Kurds

from The Duran

Colonel Ryan Dillon, the spokesman for the US led Coalition against ISIS, has spoken of the Syrian government today in more positive terms than any other US official since the start of the Syrian conflict in 2011.

Specifically Dillon is reported to have said that the US led anti-ISIS Coalition is purely focused on destroying ISIS, and that to the extent that the Syrian government also acts to destroy ISIS that is welcomed by the US led Coalition and by extension by the US

If it looks like they are making a concerted effort to move into ISIS-held areas, and if they show that they can do that, that is not a bad sign.  We are here to fight ISIS as a coalition, but if others want to fight ISIS and defeat them, then we absolutely have no problem with that.

A very strong health warning is in order.  Colonel Dillon is a relatively low ranking official though one holding an important post.  It is not clear to what extent he actually speaks for the US government.  Of course there is also the possibility – unfortunately unavoidable when considering any statement made by any US official on the Syrian issue – that he is not speaking honestly and that his words are intended to deceive.

However there is one strong reason for thinking that Colonel Dillon’s words may indeed reflect current US policy.  These are the further comments he made specifically about the Syrian army’s advances towards the town of Abu Kamal, an important town on the Iraqi border in the Euphrates river valley

If they want to fight ISIS in Abu Kamal and they have the capacity to do so, then that would be welcomed. We as a coalition are not in the land-grab business. We are in the killing-ISIS business. That is what we want to do, and if the Syrian regime wants to do that and they’re going to put forth a concerted effort and show that they are doing just that in Abu Kamal or Deir Ezzor or elsewhere, that means that we don’t have to do that in those places.

These appear to be carefully chosen words, which touch closely on the present situation in Syria…

Lyin Bernie Sheepdog Sanders Turns his Back on Tim Canova (AGAIN) as he Challenges Corrupt Debbie Wasserman Schultz

by Scott Creighton

So we should “Draft Bernie” huh? Make Bernie the center of all our efforts to change the political system we live under, right? Hmm.

Last week, (Tim) Canova announced he will challenge Wasserman Schultz again in 2018 despite a 14-point loss in the Democratic primary to the longtime congresswoman from Weston.

But this time around, Sanders isn’t on board.

I have no idea about Tim Canova, I honestly don’t,” Sanders said when asked if he plans to support Canova’s second bid against Wasserman Schultz. “I know nothing about Tim Canova.”

Sanders declined to answer whether he thinks Wasserman Schultz should face a primary challenge from a more liberal-leaning Democrat.” Miami Herold

So Bernie knows nothing about Canova? Well, unfortunately for Bernie, the internet exists and we can watch this clip all day long:

Mob-like Democrats Kill Single Payer Healthcare In California

by Scott Creighton

And just for reference, the head of California DNC is a scumbag lobbyist for the pharmaceutical industry who basically stole the chair seat from a progressive who wanted single payer healthcare along with the majority of Californians. At one time he took 100k bucks from Big Pharma to kill a bill that would have dramatically decreased the cost of prescription medicine for Californians. The California Nurses Association who backs this single payer bill the establishment Dems just killed, were once told to “shut the fuck up and go outside” at a recent rally where they were there to press the corrupt party to push for single payer. And of course, you have to remember, the DNC believes it is their right to rig primaries and dictate to the party who their candidates will be in spite of the will of the majority of their supporters. A couple years ago it was exposed that Speaker Anthony Rendon, the guy who unilaterally killed the bill, bought his way into the upper echelon of the party by kicking in 190k bucks to the corrupt leader of the assembly at that time. Not only that, but the scumbag took $36,000 from Big Pharma right before he voted for the unconstitutional vaccine mandate back in 2015.

Rigging elections, cussing at nurses in public, demanding tribute in exchange for important positions in the party and taking pay-offs from Big Business to see their interests are looked after. Shit. If I didn’t know better I would say the mob is running the DNC in California.

I mean, is this Cali 2017 or Gangs of New York? Hard to tell the difference sometimes ain’t it?

California Corporatist Dems Sink Popular Single Payer Healthcare Bill

by Scott Creighton

Given this dysfunctional reality under the ACA, it’s remarkable that neither major political party has a plan to truly fix the situation,”  Dr. John Geyman

While disabled people are staging “die-ins” outside Mitch McConnell’s D.C. office and getting dragged down the hall and arrested by our “heroic” Capitol Police, California unDemocratic Party members are busy torpedoing a very popular single payer healthcare bill that had already passed in the state Senate and looked ready to move forward into becoming law.

“A high-profile effort to establish a single-payer healthcare system in California sputtered on Friday when Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Paramount) decided to shelve the proposal.

Rendon announced late Friday afternoon that the bill, SB 562 by state Sens. Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens) and Toni Atkins (D-San Diego), would not advance to a policy hearing in his house, dampening the measure’s prospect for swift passage this year…

Rendon took pains to note that his action does not kill the bill entirely — because it is the first year of a two-year session, it could be revived next year.

But the move is nonetheless a major setback for legislation that has electrified the Democratic party’s progressive flank.

The California Nurses Assn., the bill’s sponsors and the state’s most vocal advocates for single-payer, blasted Rendon’s decision as “cowardly.”

“Acting in secret in the interests of the profiteering insurance companies late Friday afternoon abandons all those people already threatened by Congress and the Trump administration,” Deborah Burger, the union’s co-president, said in a statement.” L.A. Times

While the governor of the state, Jerry Brown, acknowledged “the tremendous excitement behind the measure” he ultimately concluded “basic and fundamental questions remain unanswered,” as he agreed with the decision to kill single payer in Cali.

What basic questions might Gov. Brown be referring to you ask? Well… there is this:
