Hi Everyone: Sick Today so I’ll be Running Around in the Wasteland for Awhile UPDATED

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: I’m worse today than I was yesterday. Operating on about 20 minutes of sleep and no breathing capacity makes for a very interesting perception problem. I’m in 2D land where everything looks like it’s in two dimensions. I’m off to get some BronkAid, NyQuil and maybe a shot of whiskey. That should do the trick.

I’ve been feeling pretty bad these last couple of days so I am taking the day off today. I treated myself to Fallout 4 yesterday since Steam was having their Xmas sale so I intend to spend the day yelling at my computer and getting eaten by ghouls in the wasteland. I consider it training for a post Jan. 20th New American Century.

I see the establishment “news” outlets are taking a day off as well and the ones that aren’t running news reruns this morning (MSNBC literally running yesterday’s news in place of Morning Joe) are leading their programs with the death of George Michael.. a guy busted for giving random guys head in a public bathroom in a park where kids play and busted many times over for various other acts… at least one other involving a public bathroom.

The big stories this weekend involved the UN Security Council FINALLY being able to pass yet another resolution condemning Israel’s illegal settlements in the West Bank of Palestine and of course the Russian plane dropping out of the sky that just HAPPENED to be heading to Syria.

I’ll be covering those tomorrow morning.

Wait a minute.. did I just lead with the Michael story as well? Oh Goddamn it…

I hope you all had a good Christmas and are looking forward to the new year. I’ll be doing my best tomorrow to make you depressed about it, like I always do.

Have a good one and I will see you tomorrow.

p.s. Any Fallout players? I need tips. Everything is kicking my ass out there. 😦

  1. If it’s a flu-type bug, start eating 3-4 medium size, fresh garlic cloves each day for at least a week.
I use them as a preventative, eating 2-3 each day to keep the flu bug away and it seems to work.

  2. Have a good day off. Hope you’ll be feeling much better very soon!

  3. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Scott. Hope you feel better and gl with fallout 4.

  4. Merry Christmas Scott!

This apparently happened Friday the 23rd and was reported today in ZeroHedge:

    • I saw that yesterday. very scary shit. we expected nothing less from President Left Cover before leaving office though. Interesting how the abstention on the Israeli vote in the UNSC made sure no one noticed that little tidbit of fascism from Mr.”Progressive” ain’t it?

  5. You will have to grind the mole rats for a while for xp points Scott..

    • I hate the mole rats. I gotta get some legendary weapons because what I have doesn’t do crap to most of the enemies. In game my name is Captain Runaway and for good reason. Now I am a general with the Minute Men, so I guess I’m General Runaway.

  6. Take care of yourself as well as you can. You are needed! If you take Greg Bacon’s advice, try to associate only with people who are on the same regimen. Otherwise you’ll think people shun you because of your opinions, which would be totally false.

  7. Oh god, I hope you feel better soon. I hope its not too serious. You got Fallout 4? Nice. I finished that game in July of this year. It was a lot of fun and I won’t give out any spoilers so far.
You’re with the minutemen? Good luck with Preston Garvey.
