A reader, Kevin Spicer, has set up a GoFundMe page in order to help him raise funds to head up to Missouri so he and his wife can participate in his daughter Chelsea’s wedding on the 10th of Sept. I can’t believe anyone is optimistic enough about the future these days to tie the knot with someone right before the zombie apocalypse … but the kids are young and idealistic and haven’t been hardened by callus cynicism as of yet like the rest of us have, so, good for them. Besides, a little wedded bliss in the wasteland can’t be all that bad.
Kevin did not ask me to put this up on the website but since the GoFundMe page has links to post it to Facebook and Twitter, I took the initiative myself to create this post. Kevin can let me know if he wants me to remove it but until then, if you can help him and his wife out a little on their trip I know they and their daughter will appreciate it. I will be making a small donation myself on Friday.
Congrats to the whole family: Kevin, Debbie and Chelsea (and some guy Chelsea is marrying who’s name is suspiciously left out of the GoFundMe page by the soon-to-be father-in-law… hmm.. haven’t come to terms with that yet Kevin?)
If you can, help spread a little cheer their way today. Might as well, Florida is about to be wiped off the map in a couple hours. All that damn GLOBAL WARMING don’t ya know.
