This is amazing.
Russia’s envoy to the U.N. on Friday warned long-term ally President Bashar al-Assad over his vow to retake all of Syria, saying he faced dire consequences if he did not comply with Moscow over the peace process.
Churkin is basically telling Assad, the elected leader of the Syrian people, to get on board with the partitioning plan Russia has agreed to or a “difficult situation” will arise for him personally.
That’s not a veiled threat, that’s an open threat to the legally elected and rightful leader of a foreign country. And it was leveled by “hero Russia”
This report came out the same day the US State Department vowed to continue supporting Kurdish terrorists after they bombed a target in Turkey, another country they want a piece of.
Days after that statement, Russia allowed “Syrian Kurdistan” to open a foreign diplomatic office in Moscow.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has insisted just the other day that Syrian Kurds be allowed to participate in the next round of peace talks. Apparently Russia wants to help the Kurds (our new beloved Freedom Fighters) break off a piece of a sovereign nation for themselves.
And isn’t it funny that this has been the plan since 2012?
All across neoliberalised NATO-backing Europe, the Kurds are already setting up shop in the name of Syrian Kurdistan, or Rojava as it’s being called:
“The Syrian Kurds, who are treated warmly both by the Russians and the West, opened their Moscow office not in the name of the PYD, but that of the Rojava administration on Feb. 10. They are diplomatically active in Brussels, which houses NATO, the European Commission and European Parliament. They have already opened offices in Prague and Stockholm. Copenhagen is next.” al-Monitor
If you think this Greater Kurdistan plan is somehow a “compromise” in the grand tradition of Obama’s history of making “compromises” to neoliberal globalist agendas during his entire 7 years as president, think again.
Greater Kurdistan has ALWAYS BEEN THE PLAN and busting off a piece of Syria, Iran and Turkey in order to facilitate it, has always been part of that plan.
“Last month, as the Free Syrian Army took over areas of the Syrian-Turkish border, a power vacuum emerged in northeastern Syria. It was not the Free Syrian Army that filled the vacuum, but instead the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), the most heavily armed Kurdish faction in Syria. In early August, the Wall Street Journal reported that “Kurdish political parties and paramilitary groups have almost completely usurped the Syrian state apparatus,” taking over municipal buildings and vital infrastructure, providing security, and controlling the distribution of resources.
Although the prospects for an independent state in Syrian Kurdistan remain dim, unprecedented Kurdish autonomy will likely result from the conflict. The implications extend beyond Syria’s borders as various governments and non-state actors have strong, and often conflicting, interests in the political fate of Syria’s Kurds and the territorial integrity of the Syrian state.
Turkey, Iraq, and Iran are alarmed by the prospects for greater Kurdish autonomy in Syria, primarily due to unresolved tensions with their own Kurdish communities. On the other hand, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in northern Iraq, the state of Israel, and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Turkey welcome a semi-autonomous Kurdish state in Syria.” Ekurd Daily, Feb. 9th, 2012
Notice they wrote way back then that the Kurds were actually “controlling the distribution of resources” and not “”ISIS” is stealing the resources”.
Ever wonder why “ISIS” trucks go into Iraq and transfer all that stolen oil into Kurdistan Regional Authority trucks for transportation? That’s because “ISIS” is really… the Kurds… stealing the resources of the Syrian people and that’s why Obama never once bombed a single one of those convoys making their way out of Syria with the stolen loot.
Ekurd Daily even provided a nifty map back in 2012:
