How the Kurds Will “Save” Syria (by busting it up into autonomous states) ಠ_ಠ

(The seeds of Greater Kurdistan being planted in the minds of the “alternative” community by their information flagship, AlterNet. Oh the glorious, glorious, new freedom fighters, the Kurds.)

from AlterNet

As the Russian aircraft began their partial withdrawal from Syria, the Syrian Kurds declared their ambitions for what they call Rojava. Given the deeply fragmented nature of Syria during this five-year war, the Syrian Kurds suggested that the country adopt federalism as its organizational principle. Syria’s partition was off the table, as was the re-creation of a strong central government. Instead, the Syrian Kurds proposed that a unity of relatively autonomous states within Syria would be the model. The Kurds, it was said, have shown in practice what might be part of the post-conflict agreement.

Idris Nassan, who is part of the foreign ministry of the Kurdish canton of Kobane, said that the idea of a federation is not merely for the Kurds. Rojava – which in Kurdish means the west – refers to the Western Kurdistan, with the Eastern parts in Iraq and Iran. It might have a majority Kurdish population in some of the towns, but within Rojava live people of many different ethnicities. In fact, during the meeting to discuss federalism – held in Rmelan, in the northeastern edge of Syria – the delegates came from many different communities. They included Kurds and Arabs, certainly, but also Armenians, Assyrians, Chechens, Circassians, Syriacs, and Turkmen. The federal area of Rojava would not be a Kurdish area per se, but merely a self-administered part of Syria.

  1. Alternet appears to be under the illusion that Chechens lived in Syria prior to NATO’s war on Syria. Researching the stats of Syria from both before and during this aggression shows NO self identifying Chechen population. Just one of the many falsities in this propaganda piece.

    • They also seem to have forgotten the second in command in “ISIS”, the one supposedly killed a couple weeks ago, was also Chechen. What a coincidence there, huh?

      • Ahh yes… I had tried to forget him myself – still not sure he’s really dead after all the money US spent training “al Shishani” in Pankisi Gorgre. He likely was sent back to the gorge to assist ops in Afghanistan or prepare the move into Caucasus. It’s a shame to waste such “talent” when he’s been on Pentagon payroll for so many years. A simple dye job of his beard and he can restart his career in new location.🙂

  3. Western corporate media have fully succeeded in getting the mindless right wingers on board with the break up of Syria and are now setting up Erdogan as a new bad guy who will have to go soon.
Russian state media are demonizing Turkey/Erdogan and turning
the Kurds into some kind Russian treasure that needs to be protected and saved from evil Turks………..solution, give the Kurds a nation with bits of Turkey and Syria.

It makes sense that dirty fake alternative media like Alternet would also get on board with this propaganda caper, but I cannot finish the article because I am banned from Alternet for the crime of making truthful comments.

I thought this article dancing all around the issue was revealing. Truth lies and half truths.

    from that……….
“When Russia entered the conflict upon the request of the Syrian government, Russian forces began coordinating and supporting Kurdish fighters as well. The duality of Russian and American support behind the Kurds has become a complex issue for analysts and causal observers alike.”

It has only been a complex issue for lying pigs who are tasked with pimping the big west vs. Putin lie.
For people who understand the NWO it makes perfect sense. Fake conflicts destroy nations that are then rebuilt in a fascist model and brought under the rule of the NWO. Only a few rogue nations remain.
Syria is the current target. Kurdistan is a means to that end and will be a guaranteed hot spot for the war industry for decades to come.
The ‘alternative’ Alternet will do its duty, conning good hearted people into supporting this crime.
