At least 25 people were killed and many others wounded after a Saudi-led airstrike targeted a police headquarters overnight in Yemeni capital Sanaa, Xinhua reported. A hospital official said on Monday that 25 policemen were confirmed dead, while “about 30 people, including policemen and residents who live in houses near the police facility,” have been transferred to hospital. “Dozens more policemen were still under the rubble and rescue teams have been trying to save possible survivors,” the official said. Journalists were not allowed to approach the targeted facility in downtown Sanaa. The Saudi-led coalition started airstrikes on Houthis and their allied forces in March 2015.
