Well, since the world is SOO damn strange these days, I figured I would hand over the task of reporting some Sunday News to my old friends, the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. And this is what they have found.
On a side note, the Freak Brothers will be here once a week on Sundays to share with us the news of the day, that is if they get around to showing up or and if they don’t get burned for their bus fare along the way.
If they don’t show, then Fat Freddie’s Cat will take their shift.
Management isn’t responsible for what the cat puts up. He is, after all, a cat.
- Well, it looks official enough, the Georgians invaded South Ossetia after all and it wasn’t those mean-old communist Ruskies. Who says? The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, says. They also tossed in there a little comment about the Georgian Special forces killing Ossetian civilians… in their sleep. Now that is special, huh?
- Relief agencies are getting pissed off because old BushCo is using, once again, this disaster to muscle in on Georgia and South Ossetia. According to reports, Bush is infusing his military in with the incoming relief workersof the non-profit aid groups. This, Bush says, sends a clear message. yeah, the message is, “We will blatantly hide our new invasion behind the skirts of aid workers so that you don’t dare resist us!”. Nice message. Clever little bastards those neo-cons.
- Still think you are going to have a “free and fair” election? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA… and they say OUR brain cells are fried! HAHAHAHAHAHAHa (cough cough cough) HAHA (cough, gurgle, poot)
- And under the heading of “Thank you Democratic Majority and Sen. Obama (you champion of civil rights you)” the ACLU has been denied access to FISA proceedings under the new law. So, there will be no transparency of the process they use to issue warrants, like there USED to be. So, big boon for the AT&T friends of the Democratic and Republican Party, and big boon for the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security! Yippie!!! Maybe now they can kick in OUR doors and kill US in OUR sleep, just like across the pond over there, bringing America’s version of “freedom”, from the walled off towns of Iraq, back home to the good-ole U.S. of A.!
So there you have it; the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers first installment of “Stuff That Happened“. We hope you enjoyed it, and if they don’t get busted by “the man” (see photo below) they will be back next week.
