Iran’s Neoliberal Green Revolution is Over – Send in the Dogs of War

There’s a good article on WSWS about a new development within the leadership of Iran’s neoliberal PR campaign aka the ”Green Revolution”. The big three are playing kiss and make up with the legitimate leadership of Iran. Curious timing, wouldn’t you say? This past October, 5  Republican Guard leaders and 37 others were killed by a suicide bomber in southern Iran. The attack has been claimed by the Jundallah terrorists in Iran who are working for “regime change”. Robert Baer gives us a little insight into Jundallah.

A former Jundullah member said this; 

US officials have repeatedly confirmed that the government has secretly encouraged and advised Jundallah as it fights the Iranian government. But Rigi insisted the US ties went well beyond encouragement. 

Not long after severing its ties with al-Qaeda, the group started a relationship with the United States government. 

That fact has never been disputed, indeed Rigi insisted that five years ago when the relationship began the US government gave the group $100,000 and promised to provide it with “everything we needed.” He also claimed that the US was directing the group’s attacks, saying “they told us whom to shoot and whom not to. The CIA and other pro-neoliberal elements of the US have had their hand in stirring the Iranian pot for some time now. But it looks like they failed. The “color revolution” in Iran like the “Orange Revolution” before it, was a complete contrivance by the regime-change ”centrist” war-mongers here in America. Staged hangings, attacks on Iranian police, fraudulent “tweets” coming out of other countries… it was all a fraud aided by a very small group of people within Iran who wanted to bring neoliberal free-market reforms to Iran and it failed. The ad agencies PR war was a flop. So I guess there is only one course left to take; send in the dogs of war.

John Kiriakou Unwittingly Exposes Brian Ross as an ABC News “Mockingbird”

The other day I posted an article about why I think Brian Ross should be fired from ABC News.

Time and time again Brian Ross has not only ended up on the wrong side of every single important issue since 9/11, but he also has a disturbing tendency to rely almost exclusively on unnamed sources to support his arguments (arguments that are almost always on the side of the CIA backed imperialist agenda). 1. The Iraq connection with the anthrax attacks (wrong, Mr. Ross), 2.  illegal use of torture as a justifiable and “useful” practice (wrong again, Mr. Ross), 3.  Iran having enough material to make a nuclear weapon by 2009 (so, so wrong, Mr. Ross), and finally what I pointed out as his latest forray into his imperialist collaborations… 4. the president  and possibly the CIA has the right to kill U.S. citizens at will (apparently this is a “law” that George W. Bush just made up after 9/11… but Mr. Ross fails to point out the root of this assumed presidential authority in his recent article).

You might start to think that Brian Ross is nothing more than the CIA’s man at ABC with all these pro-imperialist agenda positions Mr. Ross has been taking over the years. You think that might be possible? Is Brian Ross nothing more than a well-dressed over-paid Mockingbird? Inquiring minds want to know.

It used to be that the specter of bin Laden was just conjured up at certain times for political gain.   

He would speak out right before an election or when things got kinda rough for a certain U.S. presidential war-criminal who lied repeatedly to get this country behind the notion that we had to send our brave young men and women to fight and die in Iraq. A war that he was promoting as early as January 2001.   

But now Osama bin Laden is channeling himself on the Umar Fizzlepants topic at a time when it seems that our new president may have already wiggled himself off the hook for killing 23 kids in Yemen. That’s right folks, Osama has “officially” confirmed what the FBI claims Umar ”confessed” to; that Umar is in fact… al Qaeda.   

Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden issued a new audio message claiming responsibility for the Christmas Day airline bombing attempt in Detroit and vowed further attacks. MSNBC   

What gets me about this, is that it is another example of how decrepid and morally bankrupt the journalism industry has become these days. The industry itself has become nothing more than a parade of millionaire whores working for the propaganda ministry and whatever globalist regime  happens to occupy our White House at the time.   

There is no real journalism anymore in this country like there is in say, the UK. At least there, the real story can start to come out a couple years after the fact. But in the U.S., the entire journalism profession is littered with prostitutes and dim-witted sycophants who forgot long ago what it means to possess even the slightest modicum of journalistic integrity (Of course, the corporate compliance prep institutions that we laughingly refer to as “universities” would have stomped any illusions of integrity out of the journalism students from the very beginning).( Psst. “Journalists” and journalism students: this link here is just for you. Know that the current state of the “news” industry is now just an extention of the marketing and public relations industries. That’s all it is. But you already know that, don’t you? So here is a link for you.  telling you what I suggest each and everyone of you do. No joke. Just Do It. When you allow yourself to become party to pasing off marketing schemes to the people of this nation as “news”, this is what you deserve.)   

If you want a clear picture of what passes for journalistic integrity these days, just look at this little tidbit of info they buried later in this same article from MSNBC.   

There was no way to confirm the voice was actually that of bin Laden, but it resembled previous recordings attributed to him.  MSNBC   

Really? No way to know if it is bin Laden… yet the attention grabbing headline MSNBC went with reads “Bin Laden Takes Credit for Failed Detroit Attack“? And that’s “journalism” in America these days? Sounds more like propaganda to me. But why? Another October Surprize? In January?   

Unfortunately, the machinations behind this Osama bin Laden™ threat are far more alarming than merely justifying a rigged election. This needs to take very seriously.    

Our Special Brand of “Democracy” in Iraq

499 potential candidates have been striken from the ballots for the upcoming March 7th ”elections” in Iraq. Why? Because they were alledged to have ties to the now defunct and illegal Baath Party. You see, the Baath Party was primarily a socialist political organization and having them around in positions of power wouldn’t be helpful to those who intended to impose a vast neoliberal restructuring of the Iraqi economy in the wake of our illegal invasion and occupation. So basically, they made being a “socialist’ illegal in Iraq and they are removing certain candidates from the election rolls who’s fiscal ideology isn’t in line with that of the neoliberal globalists here in America.

Come March 7th, the people of Iraq will be allowed to chose between one corrupt neoliberal globalist politician or the other corrupt neoliberal globalist politician. Kinda like the choice given to the people of Honduras after the illegal coup got their populist president out of the way (supported by the Obama administration in at least 10 clear ways)and kinda like the choice we had here in America back in November of 2008.

***UPDATE 1*** Well, that didn’t take long. The Heritage Foundation is already ringing the war bells with “Iranian nuclear weapons” and the old debunked ”Iran is promising to wipe out Israel” bullshit. Apparently it’s all justification for a pending Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear sites. In an article published just today, the Heritage Foundation is priming the pot for yet another war in the Middle East:

The basic jist of this article is that no matter what Israel strikes, because of the lies presented about nuclear weapons, the US has to go to war with Iran to keep Israel from being defeated.

Chris Dodd is a Lying Warmonger of the “Democrat” Kind

One of the key players in the recent banking coup of the U.S. delivered a stunningly dishonest warmongering speech the other day on the floor of the U.S. Senate, and NO, it wasn’t a republican.

Chris Dodd has been chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs since Jan 2007.  A number of different scandalshave shown that he has personally been at least complacent during the banking take-over of this nation over the past 2 years, if not actively complicit in the plan himself (and quite frankly, the latter seems more plausible at this point in time).

A couple days ago, he took the floor of the Senate and set forth a remarkable string of lies, disinformation, deplorable rhetoric, and baseless self-righteous indignation the kind I haven’t seen since Hillary did the same thing back in 2002 and 2003 when she used George Bush’s lies to justify a pre-emptive strike on Iraq that killed, at most recent count, 1.3 million Iraqi civilians.

Now we have the banking industry’s water-boy doing the same thing. He even praises chicken-hawk DLCers Sen. Lieberman and Sen. Bayh for their fine” leadership on the issue”.

Arianna Huffington is a Lying Warmonger of the “Progressive” Kind

I’ve said it before and I will say it again; Arianna Huffington is nothing more than an ex-republican, DLCish, corporatist shill in “progressive” disguise.

Watch as MSNBC (disclaimer: MSNBC is partly owned by GE… war profiteer extraordinaire) helps spin up lies and disinformation for the imperialist war effort of the Obama administration. It’s nothing new for them as they did the same thing leading up to the illegal invasion of Iraq (for those that don’t remember, “Countdown” used to be “Countdown Iraq” prior to MSNBC’s firing of Phil Donahue for not towing the globalist line in 2003).

In this video you will see a number of warmongering shills spinning up misinformation and innuendo while  Glenn Greenwald simply attempts to inject a little reason into the mix such as “We have to look at what they have actually done as opposed to condemning Iran with rhetoric…”

Of course, Greenwald is shown the door and Huffington is allowed to stay on for the rest of the show so she can continue her shill-game unencumbered by facts.

 

China will not support crippling sanctions against Iran

The fate of the Iranian people appears to be in the hands of China and Russia at this point.  My, how the worm turns.

The Three "Wise Men" or political Globalist Tools?

As the United States, France, and Great Britain take the lead in calling for extreme sanctions against the nation of Iran and her people (the same kinds of sanctions that had such a crippling effect on the people of Iraq in the ’90s – “In absolute terms we estimate that perhaps about half a million children under 5 years of age have died, who ordinarily would not have died had the decline in mortality that was prevalent over the 70s and the 80s continued through the 90s,” UNICEF Director) the only thing that stands in their way is the vote required in the U.N. Security Council, which China will almost certainly veto.

With the US on one side of the issue and China on the other, Russia looks to be the “Super Power” tie-breaker.   Russia is a full founding member of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization)  with China, and Iran as an “Observer” in the organization, having applied for full membership in 2008,  so things don’t look good for the Security Council vote for stricter sanctions against the nation of Iran and her people who will suffer and die for years under the oppression of them.

And that is as it should be.

Iran asks Interpol to arrest Israeli war criminals
