CIA Captured in Syria Working with ISIS? ISIS Now Has Material for Dirty Bomb?

by Scott Creighton

It has been reported by Dr. Mehmet Yuva of Aydinlik Daily that several “U.S. intelligence officials” have been captured along with ” Barzani’s peshmarga, officers from Arab states from the Gulf and ISIS militants ” in northern Syria by Syrian Army’s Elite Aerial Forces.

This story coincides with another report out of Iraq that states ISIS has gotten their hands on a large amount of uranium, enough to make “weapons of mass destruction”

Is there an ISIS WMD false flag right around the corner? Will the smoking gun actually take the form of a mushroom cloud (or at least a dirty one) this time around?

“I think there will be another attack and the next time I think it’s likely to be far deadlier than the last one.” Dick Cheney, June 24th

Another Horrific Massacre in Syria Conducted by Western-backed Terrorists

by Scott Creighton

SANA news agency is reporting 14 Syrian civilians, mainly women and children, were brutally slaughtered by what appeared to be a well armed gang of terrorist thugs who slipped into the Khattab village in northwestern countryside of Hama province last Wednesday. The images are beyond gruesome. After torturing the women, the Western-backed, Saudi-backed regime change seeking terrorists murdered them then mutilated their bodies.

The Vegas Shooting – the “New World Order and Shit” and Other Dangerous Ideas

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: see several updates at the end of this article

——–

Years ago I wrote that when they decide to make that big leap from the slightly open society we have now to the totalitarian closed one we are destined for, one of the things they need to do is round up the dissidents in a very public manner so that not only are they out of the way, but so they will serve as an example of what happens to you when you think the wrong things.

You can see examples of this taking place right now in Egypt, Thailand and Ukraine. History is rife with examples. Look no farther than Indonesia when we installed Suharto or Chile after we installed Pinochet.

The most recent mass casualty event in the on-going American Gladio op took place in Vegas a few days ago. Two police officers and a woman shopping at WalMart tragically lost their lives. Was this simply a case of two bottom feeders going off? Was it part of a destabilization campaign designed to remake the country into something else? Was Cass Sunstein right about his “dangerous ideas” and the need to wipe them all off the interwebs or is someone helping him make his point as the new CISPA is about to be rolled out?

Let’s see.

Susan Rice Admits Obama Admin Providing “lethal” Aid to “Vetted” Terrorists in Syria

by Scott Creighton

“The United States has been the single largest contributor of humanitarian assistance, providing over 1.7 billion dollars. That’s why the United States has ramped up its support for the moderate vetted opposition, providing lethal and nonlethal support where we can to support both the civilian opposition and the military opposition.” Susan Rice CNN

Less than a week after an election in Syria showed the vast majority of Syrians wanted Bashar Assad to remain their president, Obama’s US National Security Advisor Susan Rice took time out to go on CNN and let the world know that yes, we have been providing military lethal aid to the destabilization forces we unleashed in Syria.

US officials have refused to say whether Rice was announcing a new US policy. They have also declined to comment on the details of the support to the militants. This comes as earlier reports said the US is ready to begin training missions for the insurgents. Press TV

For anyone paying attention, this latest admission is hardly news. But for them to come right out and admit they are arming and training these terrorists is.

The Only Standards Are Double Standards

by Robert Parry, Consortium News

President Obama is still embracing Official Washington’s false narrative on Ukraine as he hypocritically blames the crisis entirely on Moscow and ignores the West’s role in toppling an elected president and provoking a nasty civil war.

Sometimes in dealing with the U.S. government and its compliant mainstream media, I’m left with the feeling that if it weren’t for double standards, there would be no standards at all. From President Barack Obama to the editors at the Washington Post and the New York Times, it’s obvious that what’s good for the goose is not good for the gander.

An election in an embattled country is valid and even inspiring if it turns out the way Official Washington wants, as in Ukraine last month; otherwise it’s a sham and illegitimate, as in Syria this month.

Sisi “Wins” Election – Egyptian “Democracy” Restored

by Scott Creighton

I’m not exactly sure how this sham “election” could be any more obvious. Perhaps I should wait until Webster Tarpley or “Tony Cartalucci” weighs in on it before making up my mind. After all, they are the best pro-dictatorship spin doctors in the business.

“The swift decisiveness the Egyptian military has acted with against what is clearly a foreign-driven, armed, dangerous subversion of Egypt’s stability serves as a model for other nations to follow, including Thailand which is facing down the prospect of widespread terrorism carried out by extremists loyal to the US-backed, crumbling regime of Thaksin Shinawatra. It is a model that had Syria or Libya followed, tens of thousands of lives could have been spared, and the lives of millions more left unscathed by years of bloodshed and war. ” “Tony Cartalucci” (not his real name) March 25, 2014

Yes, if we just had a few more brutal military juntas followed up by outrageous political repression in places like Syria and Libya, all that needless violence would have come to an end… sooner.  And the IMF would be happy as clams just like they are in Egypt and Thailand.

ObamaGod Insulted by Unscripted Question Regarding His Training of FSA Terrorists – When will these troglodytes learn their place!

by Scott Creighton

Turn on your heartlight
Let it shine wherever you go
Let it make a happy glow
For all the world to see

Neil Diamond

Caught off-guard when a reporter tried to ask him a serious question about our military involvement in the Syrian destabilization campaign via providing training to the foreign terrorists we’ve shipped over there, President Barack Obama’s indignant dismissal of Real Clear Politics reporter Alexis Simendinger’s faux pas is one of those rare glimpses into the mind-set of the ruling politico class in America.

Her question was valid and timely. At a White House publicity function, Alexis simply asked the president about the recent reports of U.S. forces training the Syrian terrorists. A Frontline report recently disclosed FSA terrorists admitting they were transported and trained by U.S. forces in Qatar then shipped back to Syria to kill civilians. But with the teleprompters turned off and no readily available script at hand on which he could rely, the Spokesman in Chief let his truer nature shine through.

“I’m sorry,” Obama said curtly. “We’re doing a science fair. Come on.”

The president then proceeded to walk away and exit the room. Huffington Post

It wasn’t so much what he said but how he said it.

From watching the video, the unspoken context of his message was very clear to Alexis and everyone else:

“hey! Why bother me with matters of international security and clandestine foreign destabilization campaigns for big business? Can’t you see I have babies to kiss?! Troglodyte.”

‘Pilot program’ revealed: Washington sends missiles to Syrian terrorists

from RT

The US is sending missiles to Syrian rebels as part of a “pilot program” to strengthen the opposition, American media reveals. Addressing criticism the US is arming extremist militants, Washington claims its weapons will not “fall into the wrong hands.”

Washington’s new initiative aims to find out whether it can supply opposition forces in Syria with weapons without them falling into the hands of Islamist extremists, American officials told USA Today on condition of anonymity.

“They will try this first and see how it goes” before expanding it, said a former official. According to reports, rebel groups have already received anti-tank missiles, known as TOWs, which are specially designed to destroy tanks and pierce reinforced bunkers.

Obama in talks with “rebel” leader on escalating Syrian war

by Bill Van Auken, WSWS

The Obama administration has entered into direct talks with the leader of the political front for Syria’s Western-backed “rebels” on arming them with US surface-to-air missiles, amid fresh confirmation that these forces are dominated by Al Qaeda-linked militias.

Ahmad al-Jarba, the chief of the Syrian Opposition Coalition, met Thursday at the State Department with Secretary of State John Kerry. He is scheduled to meet with President Barack Obama at the White House in the coming days. Meetings are also scheduled at the Pentagon and with members of the US Congress.

The visit is part of a shift toward renewed US escalation of its proxy war in Syria, fueled in no small part by the ongoing confrontation over Ukraine with Russia, a key ally of the government of President Bashar al-Assad.

Mortar shells kill 21 in Syria’s Aleppo: Reports

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: The BBC blames the Syrian government and “barrel bombs” for the rebel’s mortar shelling in Aleppo  in spite of wide ranging reports of the rebels shelling government held positions in the city. One such report even comes from the Britain-based SOHR, which is nothing more than a propaganda outlet for the regime change operation. “The mortar fire targeted regime-held neighborhoods, including some in the Old City where the rebels are trying to advance..  Islamist rebel brigades blew up a building housing the Chamber of Industry in the Old City, which was being used as a headquarters by government forces,”  Syrian Observatory for Human Rights

CNN is also pushing the “barrel bombs” story but at least they have the decency to add a legal disclaimer to their “activists say” story – ” CNN cannot independently verify the authenticity of the reports or the videos.”

The attack in Aleppo targeted economic and local energy infrastructure like the Chamber of Industry, a local market and an electricity station in Saba Bahrat area of Aleppo. In the south, rebels disrupted a gas line supplying power to Syria’s southern provinces. These kinds of targeted attacks come straight out of our unconventional warfare handbook. They are designed to undermine services and cause hardship to the indigenous population in order to force an undemocratic transition in either social, political or economic policy.

It is the globally accepted definition of terrorism.

from Press TV

At least 21 people have been killed and dozens more wounded in mortar attacks by militants in the Syrian city of Aleppo, reports say.

On Sunday, the militants fired mortar shells at several areas, including a headquarters used by government forces in the Old City of Aleppo, the so-called Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

On the same day, Syria’s state television said “terrorist groups have blown up several buildings… including the Chamber of Industry.”

4 Ways the U.S. Is Violently Meddling In the Syrian Civil War

by Alex Kane, AlterNet

American intervention in this brutal war has involved arming the rebels (terrorists) and training people (terrorists) how to kill.

As the Syrian civil war grinds on and the brutality that accompanies it mounts, calls for deeper American involvement and armed intervention have increased. The fact that public pressure and a deal with Russia staved off a bombing campaign five months ago hasn’t stopped prominent voices to call for the Obama administration to do something, anything, to stop the bloodshed engulfing Syria and the wider Middle East.  What’s frequently missing from these calls to intervene is that the US is already deeply involved in the violence in Syria.

A recent call for intervention was published by the Washington Post on February 14. The author, former Clinton national security adviser Sandy Berger, argued for stopping Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad’s atrocities against civilians by force.

“Hindering Assad’s use of helicopters and jets to kill civilians would enable the moderate Syrian opposition to demonstrate that it has helped deliver some freedom from the constant fear of death from the air,” wrote Berger. “There are many ways to achieve this goal with partners and allies, from working with proxies in the region to airstrikes — actions limited in scope and that do not involve U.S. troops on the ground.”

USA declares war on democracy

by Kevin Ryan, Press TV

Since the days of President Woodrow Wilson – that is, for roughly 100 years – the USA has been on a self-styled crusade to “make the world safe for democracy.”

Colossal wars, hot and cold, were fought against German kaisers and fuhrers, Russian communists, and Third World nationalists. The American people were told they were “defending democracy.”

Americans slaughtered 3.5 million Vietnamese, and nearly another million Cambodians, to “defend democracy” in Southeast Asia.

They murdered millions of Iraqis through wars and sanctions to “defend democracy” in the Middle East.

According to André Vltchek and Noam Chomsky’s book On Western Terrorism, the US government has murdered between 55 and 60 million people since World War II in wars and interventions all over the world. If we believe the imperial propagandists, this American Holocaust has been one big defense of democracy.

But now, on the eve of the 100th anniversary of World War I, the US has embarked on a new crusade – to make the world UNSAFE for democracy.

In Ukraine, Venezuela, and Thailand, the US is spending billions of dollars to unconstitutionally eject democratically-elected governments. In Palestine, the US has been trying to overthrow the democratically-elected Hamas government ever since it came to power. In Egypt, the US – under Zionist pressure – recently overthrew the only genuinely democratic government in 5,000 years of recorded history. In Syria, the US insists that the people must not be given the opportunity to re-elect Assad, no matter how many international observers and safeguards ensure honest elections. And in Turkey, the US is undermining the democratically-elected Prime Minister Erdogan in favor of CIA puppet Fethullah Gulen.

Taking the long view, the US is working patiently to destroy democracy in Iran, Russia, and Latin America.

Why does the US government hate democracy?

Because the international bankers who own the US government and run the US empire cannot always buy enough votes to impose their will on every country. So democracy is fine – as long as voters elect the New World Order candidate. But if they vote for a candidate who doesn’t suit the oligarchs, get ready for a coup!

The banksters will overthrow any government that stands up to them – even in the USA. The “termination with extreme prejudice” of the presidency of John F. Kennedy sent a message to all future US presidents.

Today’s Ridiculous Pro-Regime Change Propaganda – What’s Old is New Again

by Scott Creighton

UPDATE: See the slick “I am a Ukrainian” video at the end of this article. It’s slightly better propaganda but just another KONY 2012 campaign. Again, nothing new.

————

As the real economy continues to shrink with jobs becoming even more scarce, it would appear there is one sector of the economy that is literally “booming” and that would be the “Ridiculous Pro-Regime Change Propaganda” industry.

With varying degrees of intensity, the regime change machine is up and running in six “unfriendly” nations which are all targets of our “freedom and democracy” agenda: Russia, North Korea, Syria, Thailand, the Ukraine and Venezuela. In some cases it’s simply a matter of setting the ground work for future calls for another “humanitarian intervention”. In others, bombs are exploding and bullets are flying with the body-count climbing fast and furious.

When sycophants get wind of a sea change, of a shift in the global tide of economic opportunism, they are rarely talented enough to generate the kinds of fresh ideas needed to set them apart from the gaggle of preening wannabees who surround them.

Everyone at this point understands that they can get ahead by jumping on the globalization bandwagon with some eye-catching propaganda that might make headlines for a minute or two and help our Peace Prize “winning” president justify another humanitarian bombing. The trouble is, these C+ guys by their own nature, aren’t the best and the brightest. They succeeded (if you wish to call it that) by sucking up to whomever they could, positioning themselves as the perennial Yesmen to whatever power structure they encountered.

Today, the lack of real creativity in this overstuffed field is evidenced by some rather stupid propaganda and stunt retreads being peddled out there as attempts to force regime change on several nations with the audacity to refuse to take part in our neoliberal for-profit central banking pyramid scheme known as “globalization”

Here’s a brief rundown:

European Commission seizes frozen Syrian assets

also see : Russia: US and France planning military intervention in Syria

from Voltaire Network

The European Commission announced having “freed up” Syria’s frozen assets, in order to fund the destruction of Syrian chemical weapons.

This unilateral decision runs counter to the OPCW resolution, adopted 15 November 2013, which highlights Syria’s financial inability to pay for their destruction and creates a special international fund as a substitute.

Reacting to this measure, the Syrian government has condemned the theft of assets belonging to the Syrian people. It furthermore recalled that member governments of the European Union have and continue to fund terrorism in Syria, in violation of relevant UN resolutions. In addition, EU Member States are illegally buying Syrian oil siphoned off by the Contras at the expense of the Syrian people.

Russia condemns Adra massacre, calls on world community to react

from RT

Russia’s Foreign Ministry has condemned massacre in the town of Adra, 20 kilometers north of Damascus. Survivors say jihadist rebel groups executed dozens of civilians, including children, beheading them or burning them alive.

Moscow is convinced that such acts have to be decisively condemned and the international community should actively confront the perpetrators and financers of those acts,” Aleksandr Lukashevich, spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said in a statement.

While the Syrian army continues its broad push to get the insurgents out of Adra, RT Arabic has gathered eyewitness accounts of what happened in the town last week, when it was captured by Islamist rebels of the Al-Nusra front and the Army of Islam.

Those who managed to flee the violence in Adra and reach Damascus say they saw the militants slaughtering Alawites, Druze, Christians and Shiites indiscriminately. Fearing their interviews might do harm to their relatives still in the occupied town, the fugitive survivors asked not to reveal their identities.
