In this video, long time NSA employee William Binney, considered by many to be one of the best code-breakers ever, explains the NSA’s domestic spying program “Stellar Wind” a.k.a. “The Program”

He admits they can turn your cell phone on and listen to you while it sits in your pocket or your purse. He explains that they targeted everyone and everything. Video was released in Aug. of 2012.

He never claimed he could “shut down the NSA tomorrow”. He never claimed he could listen to Obama’s phone calls. He never claimed he was paid 200k when he was actually paid a little over half of that. And he never claimed to have been training for Special Forces when he actually didn’t.

As luck would have it, this guy lives in Maryland. He’s not staging some huge dramatic “run like Assange” reality show.

Makes you think doesn’t it?

Boston – Operation Urban Shield and the “Free America Citizens” Terrorists Drill

UPDATE: ajmacdonaldjr makes a great point: Why were they planning to run another drill so soon after the one they held in November in Boston? Most cities that run these drills run one a year.

(The scenario planned by the “producers” of this event unfolded much like the actual Boston Bombing psyop.  And it had been planned months in advance by the heads of the various agencies who were then put in charge of the investigation of the Boston Bombing.

According to the story, they had already recruited actors to play various roles. The operation centered around a bombing using back-packs and the investigation using security camera videos to identify the suspects; “terrorists” using a stolen car going into neighboring counties and eventually a dead suspect near the stolen car being used to lead them to the other suspects. What is perhaps even more frightening than all of those coincidences and law enforcement agency officials acting like “producers” creating the plot and logistics for all of this, is the fact that they were using the fictional “Free America Citizens” as the mock terrorist group.

Using the term “America Citizens” as your terrorist group is bad enough, but think about this mock al Qaeda-like group in terms of what I have been saying in relation to the latest spate of “leaks”… what I have said is this series of leaks and the rash of uncharacteristic coverage across the spectrum of the media may have been created to produce a narrative that a new terrorist group of “homegrown insurgents”, has sprung up as a reaction to the growing resentment of the oppression we see being suddenly presented on the MSM daily.

Officials from a dozen agencies had been meeting for months to plan the scenario. They behaved much like movie producers, recruiting students from Northeastern University and the Boston Police Academy to play the parts of terrorists and witnesses.

They scouted warehouses and homes around Chelsea and Winthrop that could be used as a terrorist safe house.

The scenario had been carefully planned: A terrorist group prepared to hurt vast numbers of people around Boston would leave backpacks filled with explosives at Faneuil Hall, the Seaport District, and in other towns, spreading waves of panic and fear. Detectives would have to catch the culprits.

Months of painstaking planning had gone into the exercise, dubbed “Operation Urban Shield,” meant to train dozens of detectives in the Greater Boston area to work together to thwart a terrorist threat. The hypothetical terrorist group was even given a name: Free America Citizens, a home-grown cadre of militiamen whose logo would be a metal skull wearing an Uncle Sam hat and a furious expression, according to a copy of the plans obtained by the Boston Globe.

But two months before the training exercise was to take place, the city was hit with a real terrorist attack executed in a frighteningly similar fashion. The chaos of the Boston Marathon bombings disrupted plans for the exercise, initially scheduled for this weekend, forcing police to postpone. Now officials must retool aspects of the training.

“The real thing happened before we were able to execute,” said a law enforcement official …

Leading foreign policy analyst Steve Clemons said he witnessed a rather disturbing conversation while waiting for a flight at the Dulles airport on Saturday.

According to Clemons, four men sitting near him were discussing an intelligence conference they had just attended, and turned to the topic of the NSA leaks. One said that both the reporter and leaker should be “disappeared,” a term used to describe secret murders and abductions carried out by authoritarian governments. Clemons said on Twitter the suggestion seemed to be “bravado” and a “disturbing joke.” He said that the officials were talking loudly, “almost bragging.”

HuffPost asked Clemons via Twitter how he could be sure they were in the intelligence community and he noted that “one wore a white knit national counterterrorism center shirt.” But more importantly, he said, the conversation led him to conclude that they were certainly in the community, especially given the conference they talked about attending. They discussed former Ambassador John Negroponte as having been in attendance.

The “Lawless” Liberty Reserve Scandal – Big Banking is Organized Crime Sanctioned and Protected by the State

• (Wachovia) sanctioned for failing to apply the proper anti-laundering strictures to the transfer of $378.4bn

The bootleggers became involved with gangsters from Chicago and other major cities, and some local law enforcement officials (and especially federal agents) were part of the criminal activities and killing of competitors

From the New York Times to little Dvorak Blog, the interwebs are all talking about the “largest international money-laundering prosecution in history”: the Liberty Reserve.

The charges are that throughout it’s history (Liberty Reserve was set up in 2006 by Arthur Budovsky in Costa Rica after the feds shut down his other exchange GoldAge) Liberty Reserve did around $6 billion in transactions, all of which they now add together to get the total amount of “laundered money” (read the court documents, here)

“Overall, from 2006 to 2013, Liberty Reserve processed an estimated 55 million separate financial transactions and is believed to have laundered more than 6 billion (U.S.) in criminal proceeds” U.S. V Liberty Reserve et al Indictment, page 4

The indictment states that by the end, Liberty Reserve was doing 1.5 billion in transactions a year. They certainly didn’t start off that way, it took time to build up to that amount of traffic. They were operating for 6 or 7 years, so it’s reasonable to assume the $6 billion number is their total transaction amount over the entire course of their business operation.

Part of the magic trick that Justice uses is the start off with the premise that the business was set up to cater to illegal transactions and those who wish to launder their ill-gotten gains so to speak. Think of it as a poor man’s Swiss bank account.  Therefore they are claiming that all of those 55 million transactions were criminal transactions.

This is an obvious fallacy.

So why pump this case up and why prosecute these men when other drug laundering schemes are so much larger? The answer to that lies in the standard operation procedure of the Justice Department these days: protect the big banks at all costs, especially from competition. Especially from homegrown competition.

Neoliberal Terrorism Decimates Distracted Nation While the Terrorists Write the Laws

Boston Bombing: Ray McGovern Props Up Boat-side Scribble Confession AND Umar Fizzlepants Story

UPDATE: As Kenny (from kenny’s sideshow) points out, our boy Ray went on RT the other day and propped up the Benghazi psyop story as well. The guests on the show kept running away from questions about why Stevens was there (shipping arms and terrorists from Libya to Syria) and what was the CIA “compound” used for in the first place. It was the host who kept bringing up questions about Stevens’ role in the destabilization campaign from the start and ONLY the host called it a “regime change operation” while the guests, including Ray McGovern, kept making one excuse after another for our presence there.  Stevens does go on and on about us being the prime motivation behind the “terrorists” attacks.

Then Ray goes on after the break to distance himself from the 9/11 Truth movement claiming he never blamed Bush (or the other administration officials) for “Letting it Happen”(LIHOP) and goes even further to quote from the flawed 9/11 Commission Report as to WHY they say the “terrorists” did it. Not a word from Ray about that confession he committed to memory being from a guy who was tortured repeatedly until he “confessed” what Ray recited on RT. Not a word.

Ray’s position is the original CIA “blowback” narrative of 9/11… “the truth that no one wants to hear” according to Ray McGovern. Based of course on confessions garnered by torture.

Ray McGovern has penned an article that is beaming with support for the new propaganda told to us by John Miller of CBS “News” (formerly an FBI director). AntiWar then re-posted it uncritically.

“Quick, somebody tell CIA Director John Brennan about the handwriting on the inside wall of the boat in which Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was hiding before Boston-area police riddled it and him with bullets. Tell Brennan that Tsarnaev’s note is in plain English and that it needs neither translation nor interpretation in solving the mystery: “why do they hate us?”: Ray McGovern

Ray never even considers the odd timing of the outrageous claim made by the former FBI director and how convenient it is for the prosecution and the official narrative of this case. He never even addresses the fact that this new “evidence” come from secret unnamed sources or the fact that this new note seems to say the exact same thing they got in their “confession” garnered prior to reading the 19 year old kid his rights. All that eludes the former CIA agent making one wonder just how effective he was back in his glory days as a “Company” man.

But, that not being enough, Ray goes on to complete the Twofer and he props up the old Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab (Umar Fizzlepants) story as well.

Why would the FBI need to enlist our help to identify someone they fully investigated less than 2 years ago?

If you take the statements made by the family members of the Tsarnaev brothers separately you come to the understanding that something is horribly wrong with the official story of what happened at the Boston marathon bombing. You just can’t put your finger on it.

“He was controlled by the FBI, like for three, five years,”

But if you take the time to consider all of their statements together as a whole alongside the FBI’s own acknowledgement of their investigation into the older brother and then recall what we know about the Craft International assets on site under the cover of being there in an official capacity, what you come to conclude is that it looks like the FBI used a confidential informant (CI) to lure the brothers to the finish line of the Boston marathon so they could be set up as the patsies for this false flag event.

“There certainly were mentors,’’

They couldn’t make them complicit in the bombing so they just to put them in the wrong place at the right time so they could be framed for this attack. I don’t think it couldn’t be any clearer.

Boston Bombing: CNN says “the two suspects walk away pretty casually” – not in the picture I saw

The official story is sounding like more and more bullshit. How many lies is CNN going to tell before this is all over?

CNN’s Susan Candiotti is reporting that “law enforcement officials” have told her they saw an unreleased video which showed the suspects casually walking away from the scene of the explosions after hanging around for a while to watch the carnage unfold.

She also claims to have been told that the video of one of the suspects planting the bomb exists, but they chose not too release it because it might cause Americans to go crazy or something.

“Other footage, still unreleased, shows that the two suspects stayed at the scene to watch the carnage unfold, a federal law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation told CNN’s Susan Candiotti.

“When the bombs blow up, when most people are running away and victims were lying on the ground, the two suspects walk away pretty casually,” said the official, who has seen the unreleased video. “They acted differently than everyone else.”

While video of at least one suspect planting the bomb exists, the FBI had chosen not to release it, according to the official. One reason, according to the official, is that were the media to repeatedly show the suspects leaving the bomb, it might cause some people to overreact if they came into contact with them.” CNN

All those unreleased videos. Well, what are you going to believe? CNN or your lying eyes?

That guy is running like everyone else. The smoke still lingering near the ground shows it’s just a few seconds after the blast. I can’t tell if he has a backpack in his right hand or not, but one thing is for sure… he’s not “lingering around to see the carnage”

How many more lies is CNN going to tell during all of this? Are they just making this crap up as they go along?

Are we going to believe they have a video of one of these guys planting a bomb if they obviously are lying about having a video of them lingering?

It seems Rand Paul’s little filibuster may have had some effect after all. After a day of serious abuse being leveled  at the Obama administration and other dems for failing to support the Paul filibuster, today U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder sent Rand Paul a short letter which stated:

“It has come to my attention that you have now asked an additional question: ‘Does the president have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on American soil? The answer to that question is no.” Eric Holder

Today was filled with all kinds of questions coming out about Rand Paul’s filibuster and the Eric Holder letter which started it all in which he said he thought the president could “under certain circumstances” like another 9/11, use the military drones to take out a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil without any due process of law. Today’s letter is a bit of a turnaround for Mr. Holder. Not much, but a bit.

“Wall Street’s Favorite Democrat” Looks to Deregulate Derivatives Even More

Former Goldman Sachs executive and current national finance chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, called “Wall Street’s Favorite Democrat” by Bloomberg, Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.), is pushing a new bit of legislation to make it easier for Wall Street and Goldman Sachs to make piles of money setting up the next financial catastrophe just like they did back when they got Clinton to repeal Glass-Steagall.

The bill would “allow banks to keep commodity and equity derivatives in federally insured units,” Politico reported on Wednesday, meaning that banks would no longer be forced to spin off their trading desks. It would weaken Dodd-Frank’s “push out” provision, otherwise known as the Prohibition Against Federal Government Bailouts of Swaps Entities, which bars federal assistance from being provided to any swaps entity.

Himes, who was recently named the national finance chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, is a former executive at Goldman Sachs, where he was a vice president.” Huffington Post

Jim, like President Obama, was born to do the “good work” of neoliberalizing America and Europe. His daddy worked for the Ford Foundation and UNICEF  in Lima Peru. His father worked under the presidency of Fernando Belaúnde who was particularly favored by the U.S. at the time because he basically handed over the nationalized oil industry to Standard Oil. Belaunde was forced to resign under threat of military coup in late 1968 and the new government did horrendous things like started a land reform program giving land back to the people and nationalized the oil industry again. They were also setting up  deals coming closer to Cuba and the Soviet Union. Eventually the Good old U.S. of A got their man back in the saddle again in 1980.

As you can see, a very similar path to greatness that our Glorious Leader had. Born to the Ford Foundation and neoliberalized dictators in far away lands and he ends up running things in the Democratic party. Small world for these oligarchs ain’t it?
