Look Over There! Look Over There! Nothing to See Here… Look OVER THERE!!!

While most of the MSM focuses entirely on Japan or the drifting fallout, winds of CHANGE are blowing through the Obama administration who are definitely taking advantage of the distraction. The president has chosen this particular moment in time to take up the question of gun control in the wake of the shooting in Arizona which took place more than 2 months ago. Hillary Clinton has once again been pushing for the establishment of a no-fly zone and military intervention in Libya in a G-8 Summit meeting in Paris but several other leaders don’t seem to want to help her and her CIA linked MI-6 “diplomats” overthrow the Gadhafi regime.  You will never see a better equipped and more violent group of “pro-democracy demonstrators” in the entire Middle Eastern uprising.  The Obama administration played down the violence against the protesters in Egypt and Tunisia and even called for the corrupt regimes there to remain while “modifications” to their rule were slowly worked out.  Those protesters had no heavy truck-mounted weapons, no MI-6 “advisers”, and no offer from Israeli security companies to fund “separation forces”.

Isn’t it funny how the “progressive” Obama regime is in the same camp on this one that John McCain and “Fightin” Joe LIEberman are in calling for an all out invasion of Libya to remove Gadhafi? Of course, Obama’s been in the same camp as those two neocon fraudsters for years.

Yet while the Obama administration works hard to unseat Gadhafi because his forces are fighting back against the heavily armed insurgents in Libya, the peaceful protesters in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain are being slaughtered without so much as a peep coming from our Peace Prize “winning” president.

In Yemen the pro-western dictator of 30 years, President Saleh, is using poison gas and live rounds on his unarmed pro-democracy demonstrators to keep his hold on power. Hunt oil has a big pipeline deal in Yemen and lots of natural gas to steal from those poor people. The poisoned gas he is using is reported to have come from the U.S. and Britain.  But not a word from Obama the peace-maker.

With No Supporting Evidence, DHS and Fox “News” Claims Motivation of the Arizona Attack to be Anti-Semitism

Well, it didn’t take long for the spin doctors to figure out their angle on this one.  In what can only be described as pure, unadulterated propaganda, Fox News is reporting that the real motivation behind yesterday’s attack on Congresswoman Giffords is anti-Semitism. This conclusion of theirs is based on a DHS memo reportedly released to a Fox News contributor named “Griffin”.

In this memo, listed in its entirety below, the DHS makes it perfectly clear that they have absolutely no tangible reason to come to this conclusion, but they do so anyway.

UPDATE: The Army has issued the following statement:

“The Army has confirmed that the suspect was never in the Army. He attempted to enlist in the Army but was rejected for service. In accordance with the Privacy Act, we will not discuss why he was rejected.”

UPDATE: It is being reported that Loughner’s removed MySpace Page had listed the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf among his favorite books… and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is Jewish.  Also reported by William Rahn of The Daily Caller, Loughner was an atheist who rejected fiat currency and called for a new currency backed by gold and silver.   The only thing that appears to still be around is a YouTube channel video with just text and no sound which goes on and on about literacy and “new currency”. Loughner’s Youtube profile lists several books as his favorites.  What is being set up is the “godless communist/socialist” threat of the old McCarthyism all over again.

UPDATE: Jared Lee Loughner’s video allegedly includes the following statement: “”If I define terrorist then a terrorist is a person who employs terror or terrorism, especially as a political weapon. I define terrorism,” he wrote on the video.”

UPDATE: Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is out of surgery and expected to recover.

UPDATE: The spelling of the suspects name, “Jared Laughner” may in fact be wrong. It seems that there is a Jared Lee Loughner from Tucson, Arizona with a Youtube account under the name “Classitup10″ who is being reported as the actual shooter.

In a breaking story, Blue Dog Democrat Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in Arizona a few hours ago holding a meet and greet type event in a parking lot. She was reportedly shot in the head at close range by a young man who was clearly there targeting Giffords. The assailant is being reported as a man identified as 22 year old Jared Laughner.

Federal Judge John Roll was apparently killed in the same attack.

A child has also been identified as one of the fatalities.

Giffords was the only one of three congress members who had been targeted in Sarah Palin’s “Take Back the 20!” campaign to have won her election this past year.
