2012 in review for American Everyman

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog. (why they got to be “monkeys”?)

Here’s an excerpt:

About 55,000 tourists visit Liechtenstein every year. This blog was viewed about 900,000 times in 2012. If it were Liechtenstein, it would take about 16 years for that many people to see it. Your blog had more visits than a small country in Europe! (and about 899,990 more visitors than Dollywood has ever seen)

  1. Wow ! That’s a lot of articles.Scott !

  2. I’m humbled to be a top referring link. Gotta try and beat that blame facebook site though.

I’m also amused that ‘allahu akbar’ was a top search term to get here. What was up with that?

2013 should provide many opportunities for you to continue the roll you are on. Looking forward to it.

  3. If only the flow of funds surpassed that of Lichtenstein’s….

Thank you for all 807 of those articles, Scott.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy year… Although, I think it’s gonna be a rough ride… Buckle up, Here comes 2013!!!

  4. Sorry, I have to tip toe in here… tip, tip, tip…
    HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

  5. Congratulations. Just remember, your goal is for no site like this to need to exist aside from in a watchdog capacity.

  6. type, type, type Jan – your stats make this as much of an american everywomans blog – that is good.
Thank you Scott – Do you have one of those floor pads on which you can jump around and type with your feet, cause I can see no other way for you to have kept such a level head throughout this year.
See you all in the next one -
    Happy New Year!
    btw. good comment kiwasabi.

    • Not really Brian, if WordPress listed comments by ‘content’, then I would be top of list with the “Wow…. great comment!” I very seldom make comments that have info to add to the thread… I mostly read , and worry, and get scared of stuff, and get amazed at the other commentators who dig around and find so much info. to add.

I been reading this amazing blog for years. :)
