A 21 Year Old With Autism Gets a Visit from Santa

Very few people understand what autism is and I’m not one of them.

I found this delightful video of a family being together on Christmas. The brother, Trevor, is 21 years old and has autism. He still believes in Santa.

His sister got her boyfriend to dress up as Jolly Old St. Nick and pay Trevor a visit and it seems to me that Trevor was a good enough sport about it to let his sister think he was fooled. I don’t think he was fooled for a second but he got presents and it seemed to make his sister happy and so he played along. At least that’s my take on it.

Many bad things are going to come out of this attack in Sandy Hook, many already have.

People are at each others throats and shamefully demonizing young men and women who suffer with various handicaps when just a short while ago they were celebrated and encouraged as a matter of course.

For Christmas Eve I can’t offer much. But thanks to Abby and her family video, I can offer you a glimpse into a real family celebrating and enjoying one another and putting up with each others little handicaps as they make their way through life, together.

Can any of us ask for anything more.

Sandy Hook Shooting: LoHud Publishes Interactive Map Showing Names and Addresses of Legal Gun Permit Holders

If I could be so bold to add my own line to this classic:

First they came for the gun owners
and I didn’t speak  out because I wasn’t a gun owner

First they came for the communists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

(Of course, LoHud is a “news” agency located in New York, the same place where Billionaire Mayor for Life Bloomberg resides.)

Lohud.com has published an interactive map showing the names and locations of all the legal gun permit holders in Westchester and Rockland counties of New York. It is a public shaming campaign and there is no other way of looking at it. They have put pressure on NRA members by ridiculously claiming “they have blood on their hands” in reference to the Sandy Hook shootings and now they are publishing maps of individuals who have done nothing more than passed legal background checks and received a permit to legally purchase a hand gun in their counties.

This kind of tactic is beyond reprehensible. It’s possibly opening up the publication to all kinds of legal problems but apparently the time has come for the complete disarmament of the American people and since we all know that corporations are completely above the law, what difference does it make to them? They are going all in on this one folks.

Wag the Dog As World View: How PR Guys and Thespians “Contribute” To Society

Al Jazeera is trying to aid and abet the criminal NATO campaign to destabilize and regime change Syria by running with a “chemical weapons” story that looks straight off of a segment of the old movie Wag the Dog. CNN, al Jazeera, Fox and others have run fabricated stories in the past. Wildly fabricated. But this one is interesting because it looks like a bunch of Crisis Actors were sent over to Jordan or Turkey to work with some “local talent” to produce this silly bit of infomercial magic.

My question is: how long till these staged events hit our shores? Or have they already…

Destabilizing America; Firefighter shot at scene of blaze in Webster, NY

Authorities say a firefighter has been shot while responding to a fire at a suburban Rochester home.

Officials in the town of Webster tell local media outlets that someone shot at firefighters around 6 a.m. Monday when they arrived at the scene of the blaze just east of Rochester.

A fire official with the West Webster Fire District tells the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester that the firefighter is listed in satisfactory condition at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Officials say the house is still burning and the fire has spread to a second home.

A man answering the phone at the fire station says firefighters are unable to battle the blazes because the area still hasn’t been secured by police. The man says no other information is being released.

West supports terrorists in Syria: Russia foreign minister

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has criticized as “absolutely unacceptable” the Western countries’ support for the terrorists in Syria.

In an interview with Russia Today on Monday, Lavrov said Western countries had dichotomized the terrorists into “bad” and “acceptable,” supporting the latter.

“It’s absolutely unacceptable, and if we follow this logic it might lead us to a very dangerous situation not only in the Middle East but in other parts of the world, if our partners in the West would begin to qualify terrorists as bad terrorists and acceptable terrorists,” The Russian foreign minister said.
