“The Nuts Come Out” reads the Huffington Post banner. Yeah, I guess they do. Code Pink was screeching that the NRA was killing our kids and over at the Huffington Post they call LaPierre “nuts” for suggesting doing something that EVERY school system did this week; put an armed police officer at their local schools. When they do it, it’s responsible and heroic. When the spokesman for the NRA suggests doing it, he’s “nuts”

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

UPDATE: As it just so happened, there was yet another active shooter event just as the NRA was giving this statement. What a coincidence huh? The shooter is dead of course.

Wayne LaPierre is not the most charismatic speaker one would hope for at a time like this. He comes across more like an accountant than a hunter or a fighter for our civil liberties. But he made a couple good points in his televised statement this morning. Why is a gun in the hands of a soldier or a cop considered a good thing and a gun in the hands of a citizen considered a bad thing?

We know what bad cops do and we know what our foreign policy is doing overseas. But them having guns is ok?

Code Pink decided to come to his press conference and prove once again they are simply tools of the establishment pretending to be “alternative”

They got up and screeched that the NRA is “killing our kids”, that they have “blood on their hands”. That was their informed rebuttal I suppose.

Was listening to AJ talk to yet another “former” CIA spook turned “alternative” truth teller and Alex voiced his opinion on what happened at Sandy Hook;

Adam Lanza was a crazy video game player who played first person shooters and took medication and killed a bunch of kids… “taking (his) assault rifle out of the back of the car and then going to kill people”

Anybody still want to argue on behalf of Alex Jones being anything other than a “useful idiot” or a downright asset of the NSA?

The Mayans Were Right: Its the End of the World as We Know It

Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

The world as we know it is being radically transformed. While the hurried Business Plot of 1934 failed in it’s haste, the Lewis Powell Memo of 1971 took a more measured and mature approach and it laid out a careful creep toward neofascism in America to benefit massive corporate interests and a handful of ultra-wealthy families.

Over the following decades several impediments had to be swept aside like the regulations of the FCC and Glass-Steagall. A one-party system of government, the Business Party, needed to be created and adamantly defended and supported via varying degrees of propaganda; “centrist”, “moderate”, “pragmatic”. Education was targeted because as we all know the real usefulness of education is not to create a well informed thoughtful population, but instead, too propagandize them, to make them ready to love their servitude and desire their slavery.

The towers came down, the sub-prime bubble went up and so the country, the world, was ready for CHANGE
