UPDATE: SGTMAC has left a link to a helicopter that this looks like, the Russian built Hind D. He also linked to a list of which countries use them currently and I list a few choice contenders…. Afghanistan, Libya, Uganda, Syria, Yemen and … the United States. Libya folks? Do you think our “professional jihadists” could have shot that video in Libya perhaps? The plot thickens. Thanks Sgt. UPDATE: Weapons were being illegally shipped from Libya to the FSA terrorists in Syria on a weekly basis. It’s like Iran-Contra has become the model for how we run our foreign policy.

A new amateur video has popped up from Hillary’s FSA professional jihadists (read as “the new Contras”) purporting to show a Syrian helicopter firing White phosphorus shells on a civilian area near the town of Maraiya in Deir al-Zour province.

The Washington Post is uncritically reporting on this as fact and though they do happen to mention in the latter stages of the article that the United States used white phosphorous shells in Fallujah in 2004, they happen to forget that Israel used them extensively on civilian areas in Gaza during Operation Cast Lead. I guess they forgot so here is a reminder…

You see, this is what happens when someone uses white phosphorous shells on civilian targets, the people filming it actually film the stuff hitting civilian targets. This comes from the Israeli military’s attack on Gaza during Operation Cast Lead. notice how it differs from the FSA video?

Morsi Makes Concession to Opposition but Holds to Dec. 15 Referendum on Constitution

(Most fake “alternative” sites mention his speech but portray it as some kind of Mubarak like ranting from a dictator and make no mention of his offer to have a dialog with the opposition. The main opposition leaders, just like the FSA and the so-called “rebels’ in Libya before them, have refused the offer already. They simply don’t want the people to have this constitution put to them for a vote. Meanwhile, as he was giving his speech, the opposition broke into the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters, attacked several workers there, and set it on fire. Morsi did say during his speech that actors from outside the country are paying people to destabilize the new country and prevent the constitution from being put to the people. Guess he has a point, doesn’t he?)

Egypt’s leader made a tentative concession to his opponents, inviting them to join a national dialogue on Saturday aimed at resolving the crisis over his augmented powers, a day after a bruising street battle pitting Islamists against secularists left six dead and hundreds injured.

In an address to the nation, President Mohammed Morsi also said he would form a new assembly to write another constitution if the current draft is rejected in a national vote set for Dec. 15.

But the president made no offer to reschedule the referendum, as the opposition had demanded.

The Egyptian Revolutionaries have intensified their struggle. The new President, Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood, recently took steps to grab greater power and is trying to push through a new constitution that denies basic rights such as the right to freedom of expression and freedom of the press. The media has responded in solidarity by holding strikes and protesters surrounded the Presidential Palace starting two days ago. We spoke with Mokhtar Kamel, President of the Alliance of Egyptian Americans (North America) on Monday. Our thoughts are with the revolutionaries who are suffering serious injuries and deaths.

UPDATE: Two sources are reporting Russia landed two warships in the port of Tartus for a couple hours. I guess that means they are still in the area

The landing ships Novocherkassk and Saratov docked in the port of Tartus for several hours but their crews did not go ashore, the Interfax and ITAR-TASS news agencies reported.

UPDATE: It appears Killary’s task selling this crap to the Russians just got a bit harder:

We’ve all heard the reports and read the news: unnamed sources report unverifiable details about Bashar Assad giving the order or not giving the order to mix or to load unmixed chemical weapons on Syria bombers for use against his own people. All of the various mainstream media outlets are quoting unnamed “intelligence officials” which if you recall is the definition of the CIA Mockingbird program from days gone by. In those days, the CIA used well compensated established journalists to push various disinformation on the public to serve whatever need they had at the time.

The story goes something like this: Iraq’s missing weapons of mass destruction made their way from Saddam’s house to Assad’s and now he is loading them up, in spite of the fact that it is the definition of Obama’s “line” that he would not allow to be crossed, to drop on his own people.

This story now predictably leads to “alternative sites” like the Breathless Alex Jones and others to “report” that what is about to happen is obviously a false flag event being staged by Clinton and NATO to justify an attack on Syria without the UN security council resolution.
