“But, if I were to treat this as a probability based bet, my money goes to Malala being cast, in advance, as the perfect spokesperson to further someone or another’s agenda, and the shooting incident a staged event to give her publicity, street cred, public’s sympathy and sympathetic ears for whatever agenda she will be (perhaps unknowingly) pushing in the days to come.” Lilaleo
Well put, Lilaleo. (don’t worry, Jessica Lynch is doing just fine after being used as propaganda to support the early stages of the war and occupation of Iraq)
We’ve seen this trick pulled far too often to ignore the precursors involved in this case(don’t worry, after being use to justify another “surge” in Afghanistan, Aesha is doing just fine after moving to the United States)
We have seen it used time and time again, always involving a woman or a child, always centered around some new global campaign in a region already cursed with the destructive seeds we ourselves have sown.
There are always two or three agenda’s at play because in the world of propaganda, multitasking is key.
Our heartstrings bind us to a culture of conformity as per the great design laid out by those who serve the “greater good”.
There is so much at stake here from the New Great Game and the conquest of Middle Eastern natural resources to the UN’s new multibillion dollar global for-profit education program headed up by Former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown who is currently wringing this story for everything it’s worth.
Are we really surprised that Malala ends up going to the UK?
Are we really surprised that despite their protestations to the contrary, the Pakistani leadership will now after a new attack, be “forced” to mobilize their military might to suppress the opposition in North Waziristan to pave the way for the trans-Afghan pipeline just like Fazlur Rehman predicted?
The evidence is too strong, the coincidences to many to count, the personal and family ties to the grand agendas are to obvious to ignore.
Malala is nothing more than the latest in a long line of depressing little girl propaganda puppets created and used by a vicious global imperialist oligarchy to further their neoliberal agenda of conquest.
On Brown’s slick “I am Malala” website, complete with a professionally produced video and a petition to sign proving your devotion to his global for-profit school scheme, Malala is being used like a marketing ploy.
Politicians, CEOs and celebrities alike are already on board which eerily reminds me of the KONY 2012 psyop.
Like an earlier commenter said, Pakistanis don’t normally get behind emotion based campaigns like this one and thus this national reaction seems far too well planned and carried out in the wake of her shooting for it to have been something that happened organically.
It’s good that Lilaleo mentioned the Christopher Stevens shooting in Benghazi as an example. This too has the clear cast marks of a pre-stamped product, just like that situation did. And just like that situation, they came out with the story too quick, with too few controls in place and the story didn’t follow a natural progression.
It was as if they were trying to rush to the predetermined moral of the story instead of letting it develop as a result of the story and so eventually they had to pull back, regroup, and remake it in order to save it.
That’s exactly what they had to do with the “Innocence of the Muslims” psyop and Amb. Stevens and that’s why they ended up in front of a congressional committee in a hearing.
It was announced today that Hillary Clinton, the woman Stevens ultimately worked for and the person who decided not to warn the consulate of the pending attack, has decided to call for drone strikes and bombings in Libya and elsewhere in Africa to get the people who killed Stevens.
But that’s a different psyop.
As I predicted before, they have removed Malala from the situation, afraid they won’t be able to control it inside Pakistan. Perhaps too many Pakistanis are questioning the events surrounding what happened. What ever happened to the driver, the one witness to the event? The ISI has him and you may never see him again or if you do it will be like the interview given by Lee Harvey Oswald’s wife after the CIA and the FBI had her for a few months.
Here is a girl who according to reports wanted to be a doctor until her father pushed her into the forefront of the education movement in Pakistan.
Of course, we aren’t supposed to question the fact that for-profit education systems in Pakistan have been working their way into the country for sometime and the fact that her father just happens to be an administrator at a school. I wonder what position he will end up filling in this new national charter school system by time it’s all over.
Can’t help but think of the case of the little nurse who testified to congress about the Iraqi’s tossing babies out of the incubators in Kuwait back in 1990 or so. Of course, the story was complete bunk and the little nurse was actually the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador if I’m not mistaken. They had a professional firm brought in to train the little girl to lie to our congress, to weep while telling them a tale of complete fabrication.
I wonder what that father got in trade for his daughter’s integrity.
Back then, before it was made public and finally admitted by the administration, if you questioned the credibility of the little nurse and her incubator babies story, you were demonized just like anyone now who dares question the story of little innocent Malala.
These are the untouchable stories. Just a few of the lies created to be unbreakable, unassailable, unquestionable myths which move us as a people toward violent and undemocratic ends.
History is full of these. Our current events text books are getting even more crowded by these creations of the doctors of spin.
When will people tired of these same old tricks? When will they understand that it isn’t the doubters who abuse these adolescent puppets, but rather those who put them on the stage and tell them to dance?
Malala’s story isn’t that unique. There have been many before her who were called to serve the master’s “greater good” and as I am sure unfortunately there will be many others to follow.
So while Malala is being trained by the likes of Hill and Knowlton in Britain, let’s take a moment to consider a lesser known campaign, also promoted by some young girls, also from an area being currently destabilized by those who seek the “greater good”.
They got far less publicity than Malala. They don’t have slick websites and banners printed in English for us Westerners to read like all of those that were ready and waiting for the day after Malala was shot. They don’t have thousands of influence peddlers marketing their names and their faces across Facebook and Twitter 24 hours a day, but none the less, their campaign is important, their silent voices should be heard. (H/T Brian… again)
This will be the last I say on the subject for now. I leave you with a couple little protesters who are tired of war in their once peaceful and beautiful home.
