Human Rights Watch has produced a study which purports to show that the Syrian government is using cluster munitions, a weapon of indiscriminate killing, against the FSA and other terrorists in cities inside Syria. It has also been claimed that the cluster bombs are being provided to the Syrian government by Russia. Clearly this is propaganda designed to offset the fact that the United States, Britain, France, and Saudi Arabia are arming the terrorists operating in Syria who are using those weapons and logistic intel to attack civilian as well as government and business targets with the overall goal of destabilizing Syria to the point of forcing regime change on a country whose population largely supports Assad.
The Human Rights Watch “study” is so obviously flawed and skewed to the pro-regime change agenda, one has to ask how it’s taken seriously by any reputable mainstream media outlet. But of course, the answer to that question is as obvious as the propaganda itself.
Even while they cite the study as the only proof of Syria’s use of cluster bombs, the LA Times later in their article has to admit the ridiculous nature of the Human Rights Watch study… without really admitting it:
The international group based its findings on 18 videos posted by activists online showing the aftermath of the cluster bomb strikes and unexploded munitions, as well as on follow-up interviews with Syrians. Residents from the towns of Taftanaz and Tamanea told the organization that helicopters dropped cluster munitions on or near their towns.
Such accounts are difficult to independently confirm, as the Syrian government greatly restricts the access of outside media to the conflict zones…
A resident of Tamanea, who like others was not named by the report, said that a helicopter last Tuesday released a bomb that split in half and released smaller bomblets, which landed between an elementary school and a middle school.” LA Times
Videos of someone holding up a disarmed cluster bomb and unnamed “witness” reports. hmm.
I have seen these videos. The involve all of the preparation of a 6th grade show and tell day presentation.
I can go down to the Army surplus store right now and purchase disarmed cluster bombs by the case as well as disabled grenades and other various props. Then I could take them outside, near a construction site of a recently demoed house and film my neighbor’s kid picking one of them up and playing with it like a Frisbee or playing fetch with my dog with it.
This stuff really isn’t that hard to figure out folks.
Then I can get my 72 year old mother to pick up one of them outside her home and with a minimum of coaching, I can teach her to hold it up to the camera and shed a tear like that Native American did in the old anti-littering PSA. Very touching. Children and little old ladies. Works every time.
I write a couple unsigned “witness statements” and there you have it.
According to the LA Times, if I were to then write a report based on all of this “evidence” claiming that Elvis was shelling my home with cluster bombs from the beyond the grave, that would be enough for them to justify a front page article damning Elvis and all his sympathizers to hell.
Of course they wouldn’t do that because there is no larger agenda behind the Times reporting that “Elvis is Shelling My Home, Report Claims” like there is behind their recent article “Syrian military using cluster bombs, rights group charges”
The larger agenda of course is drumming up support for the Obama/Clinton regime change plan in Syria.
As far as I know, they have no designs on forcing a regime change in my home as of yet though according to the NDAA of 2012, Obama has the authority to do just that whenever he likes. In other words, “change”
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has denied there is any evidence of Russian cluster munitions being sent or used in Syria.
“There are a lot of illegally supplied weapons in the Middle East and it is often very difficult to identify their origin. There is no confirmation of that (Russian cluster bombs) The region is loaded with weapons, which are being brought into Syria and other countries in huge amounts and illegally.” RT
Lavrov is absolutely correct and were it not for publications like the LA Times turning a blind eye to their journalistic responsibilities, the general public in the United States would understand it. In fact, propagandists like those who created these laughable videos and reports wouldn’t bother taking the time to make them if they did not know in advance that they would never be called into question by the outlets who peddle their war-mongering products.
What we see here is a clear distraction from the developing story that the people of this country are becoming more and more aware that we are arming terrorists inside Syria and they are in fact doing our “regime change” bidding.
What used to be the sole territory of the “conspiracy theorists” is now slowly edging into conventional accepted wisdom with reports from “credible” news sources like the Wall Street Journal (June 2012) and the New York Times (Oct. 2012).
“US intelligence operatives and diplomats have stepped up their contacts with Syrian rebels in part to help organize their burgeoning military operations against President Bashar al-Assad’s forces… The Central Intelligence Agency and State Department…are helping the opposition Free Syrian Army develop logistical routes for moving supplies into Syria and providing communications training.” Wall Street Journal
“The United States is not sending arms directly to the Syrian opposition. Instead, it is providing intelligence and other support for shipments of secondhand light weapons like rifles and grenades into Syria, mainly orchestrated from Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The reports indicate that the shipments organized from Qatar, in particular, are largely going to hard-line Islamists.” New York Times
The CIA is operating as a middle man, according to the current version of the official story, kind of like they did back during Iran/Contra. In that case, they were shipping Israeli weapons into Latin America to destabilize the Sandinista government via terrorists (Contras). Became a scandal back then, today, that’s the cover story and apparently it’s just fine.
How quickly the morality of a nation changes, huh?
Truth is, we have operatives inside Syria and Turkey and Jordan teaching our hired “professional jihadists” how to choose and hit certain types of targets in order to cause massive destabilization and terror within the targeted country. It’s “special operations” or “unconventional warfare” and it’s a given fact in this country so uncontroversial, you can easily look up the designation yourself… they don’t hide the fact that they did this to other countries. They just hide the fact that they’re DOING it.
After all, it’s always easier to say “I’m sorry” than to ask for permission, isn’t it?

But all of this is just the tip of the iceberg. What of the NGOs Soros established and finances? Who are the other leaders of these groups? Clark informs us that at Human Rights Watch, for example, there is Morton Abramowitz, U.S. assistant secretary of state for intelligence and research from 1985-1989, and now a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations; Warren Zimmerman former ambassador whose spell in Yugoslavia coincided with the break up of that country; and Paul Goble, director of communications at the CIA-created Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (which Soros also funds).

Poor Elvis. Something lots of people may not get:
“You gotta understand, man,
He was America’s baby Boom Che’.”
(off of “Baby Boom Che’ ”
out of John Trudell’s ‘AKA Grafitti Man’ album)
Might have had to been around back then, grown up back then, to understand. I was. So was John. I liked him.
I like this Entry, too.
