UPDATE: According to CBS, the day before this story that came out saying she had no brain damage, a different story was being told by her surgeon.

The medical tests done on Malala Yousafzai after a bullet was successfully removed from the gunshot victim have revealed that her brain had not sustained any damage, reported Express News on Friday” Express Tribune Oct. 122 2012
Let me see if I can get this straight… Malala was shot in the head and neck at point blank range by two Taliban “hitmen” on a van along with another girl, who doesn’t seem to be injured…

… but in fact, she wasn’t actually shot in the neck even though the first doctor said she was and they carefully covered up her neck in all the pictures of her but this one …which shows her neck is just fine.
Then, as the story goes, the bullet that went into her skull from the front temple above her left eye, traveled through her head, down through her neck and lodged itself in her shoulder, that bullet, fired by an evil Taliban member, did absolutely no damage to her brain as it bounced around inside her head til it slipped down her neck and into her shoulder? Do I got that right? That’s the story? That’s what we are running with on this one? Good, just so long as I got the water cooler talking points right… ಠ_ಠ
“Official sources told Dawn that the single bullet, which hit Malala’s head, had pierced down to her backbone.
We have thoroughly examined her, she is in critical condition. The bullet traveled from her head and then lodged in the back shoulder, near the neck,” a doctor told the AFP agency, according to Dawn, requesting anonymity as he was not authorized to speak to media. NBC “News”
So she’ll be ready to bravely traverse the talk show circuit in a few days I suppose. Time is running out. Gotta get those “evil doers” in Pakistan before the Russians start building that pipeline!

It’s all clear now. This can only be attributed to a super-natural miracle performed on behalf of the “correct” people by their “correct” super-natural being. Right?
I would say that is probably the best scientific explanation that most Americans can and will accept… yes. reluctantly… yes.
I quickly scanned an article on Yahoo News today regarding this story and then went to the comments (because those comments were what I really wanted to read!). People just eat this s**t up – hook line and sinker. Fall for it every time. I was tempted to post an opposite point of view, but decided I really am not in the mood to take the relentless bashing I would receive. Wouldn’t do any good anyway – people are too locked in to their false beliefs and the false narratives they hear and read on MSN.
Yes, people are severely hypnotized – Perhaps they sense what is realy going on but they have squandered their personal push for freedom somewhere along the line and now their biggest fear is to lose the fake freedom society has promised them for keeping brain dead.
Show people the pictures Scott has put up of the mangled and shredded babys from Obombers drone strikes and they will turn away from fear of snapping out of it.
If Malala had looked as shot up as those kids, the story would not have gained as much traction if any, because the event was staged according to the hypnotic script.
you know, the timing was also quite ok to distract from the Benghazi debacle on which the rightwingers were already up in arms calling it much worse than the watergate scandal.

He added that ‘neck’ part at the end .. he had to get that ‘neck’ part in his statement! and where else would your back shoulder be? except ‘near’ your neck….

One thing does bother me this picture has her wound on her RIGHT side. It was one of the first released by the ARMY press service ISPR.

All other pictures have it on the Left. Could be bandages on both sides. Any theories?
that is strange…. your picture and the one in the article (with link, ‘they carefully covered up her neck’) seem to be the exact same picture except one is bandage on left and one is on the right…. unless she had hole on both sides and no one has mentioned that.
Could the bandage be Photoshopped to photo? could the girl have been in some kind of accident and ‘they’ decided to use it to their advantage?
It could be a mirror reflection and it is . See one of the pictures in a mirror .
You are right. I found the mirrored image online too.
Bullet removed? Dout that – the bullet generally best left where it is – more harm in removing it.
