While addressing some online influence peddler, I found something very interesting: CBS News not only repeated the claim that the doctor who attended Malala in the hospital said she had been shot in the throat (and of course they show an image of her with her throat covered up so you can’t see she wasn’t shot in the throat) but they then went further than that by cropping a phototo hide the image of what appears to be Malala and her father walking to the military chopper supposedly on route to have the bullet removed from her head and or back.

This is the photo as it appears on the CBS website:

This is the original photo with my own additions pointing out that it looks like Malala and her father walking along behind the first group, on their way to board the helicopter. The original photo is found at the Washington Post, here, # 7 in the series.

As you can see, either CBS or the AP cropped out the image of the two (a man and a smaller woman or girl) walking behind the group on their way to the chopper.

This action by CBS News or the AP tells me that it is indeed Malala and her father walking to the chopper and someone somewhere f*cked up in publishing the uncropped photo.

CBS claimed Malala had been shot twice, once in the neck and once in the head based on the hospital doctor’s report. They even presented a photo that showed her neck covered up so you couldn’t see it. Do you see a wound on her neck?

“Malala was shot twice — once in the head and once in the neck — but her wounds were not life-threatening, said Tariq Mohammad, a doctor at the main hospital in Mingora.” CBS News

  1. That was some quick and thorough debunking Scott.
So this is how careless things are staged now…

  2. Hey, it`s the same with our food, education et al. Give em time, as they are sure to be more comfortable with – der Totale Krieg!

  3. Btw. lets see how this one pans out. http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/55380/Egypt/Politics-/Egypts-accountability-Friday-Two-protests-in-same-.aspx
The destabilization is relentless in so many countries at this time – it will reach Israel – and then – treaty org. versus treaty org.
Sorry for being ahead of schedule – or am I – God hope not.

  4. In the following video, the woman/girl with the red trousers can be seen (end of vid) on her way to the copter – the gurney stills seems a pile of blankets – but I do`nt know…
    http://article.wn.com/view/2012/10/12/Brutal_attack_on_Pakistani_girl_an_affront_to_human_rights_e/
Anyway she seemed to have been carted around on that gurney forever sometimes with bloodied blankets then again pristine looking blankets and like in this pic:http://www.20min.ch/ausland/news/story/Wut-und-Empoerung-nach-Anschlag-auf-Malala-30335445
with a bloody blanket over her head.

  5. This is the most ridiculous pile of bullshit i’ve ever seen. If you think credible evidence of conspiracy can be based on a couple of red lines on a picture you’re going to have a tough time getting any answers. Jumping to the conclusion that it’s more likely the Malala Yousafzai shooting was a hoax than two Pakistani woman were wearing pink that day is utterly inadequate evidence. As for the other picture, the entirety of her neck isn’t even VISIBLE. All you’re doing is perpetuating the idea that all conspiracy theorists are idiots, which leads us even further from scratching the surface of information that’s not publicly available. It’s lazy and embarrassing.

No wonder so many people think sites like this are a complete joke. You never have substantial evidence and base comments on wild assumptions, whilst having the hypocrisy to claim mainstream news feeds us inaccuracies. Things are definitely censored and hidden. But a 14 year old girl was shot and all you can do is jump on it as another potential sham… Look at an article in a newspaper and tell me which reaction is more humane.

    • You can prove that she was shot? but not by the same media that says the Twin Towers fell due to a fire…. or the same media that says President Kennedy was shot with a magic bullet..
      so who do you trust?

      • Neither of you.

        • The only thing you trust is your identity politics and your sense of self-righteous indignation. That’s why they picked a little white looking Pakistani girl who speaks English. Had she been like all the other Pakistani little girls who have been blown to pieces by Obama’s drones, Sarah here wouldn’t give a shit. That’s what you trust. You trust marketing and propaganda because it makes you feel good, just like it’s designed to do.

    • You can clearly see that girl had not been shot in the neck just as you can clearly see each and every photo other than the one I found has deliberately obfuscated that fact by either covering up her unwounded neck, or by shooting it at an angle so you can’t see it. And as you have to admit, the doctor who worked on her at the first hospital clearly stated that she had been shot in the neck as was reported by MANY news organizations.

There are MULTIPLE photos taken of that trip to the helicopter and NOT ONE OF THEM shows another woman, MUCH LESS one wearing the EXACT SAME THING that Malala was wearing. Not one single photo.

So to claim that some mysterious ghost woman was there wearing the same thing Malala was wearing is beyond ridiculous.

and YES, the CBS story deliberately cropped their images out of the photo… I didn’t do that. Someone made that choice, probably for good reason.

“More humane”? are you kidding? a “fourteen year old girl was shot”? Are you serious?

Do you have any idea how many 14 year old kids have been blown to pieces in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Libya, and now Syria by our efforts to force regime change on those countries?

Do you have ANY FUCKING IDEA how many 14 year old kids were starved to death in Iraq while we were setting them up for regime change?

Got any idea about the sanctions programs in place in Iran RIGHT FUCKING NOW?

And you come here acting high and fucking mighty about a girl in a psyop WHEN THEY CAN’T EVEN GET THEIR STUPID STORY STRAIGHT?

Tell you what… go tattoo her name on your back and see if you can get a job warming up the “morally superior” idiots at the next Madonna show.

Leave the reporting to people with a sense of perspective and analytical skills.

    • I agree with you Sara!

  6. Look – dead give away was the english banners they had printed a mere 24 hours after the event – that is just not possible for some civil protesters. But the girl/woman running to the copter might have been the other student, might be they are wearing school uniforms as many schools especialy private for profit ones have. – Just to be fair.

    • may have been. but in all the other photos of that helicopter, there wasn’t one single picture of another woman, much less one wearing the exact same thing she was wearing. Also keep in mind, CBS edited that part out and it looks pretty clear to me that those guys are carrying a bunch of white sheets on that gurney. So, add all that up and what do you have?

    • Having watched the video, they didn’t show them running up to the helicopter. They showed them walking off the sidewalk and then cut to the helicopter scene with a bunch of people standing around and some woman wearing the exact same thing Malala was wearing standing near the rear, then looking like she was moving through the crowd to get on the copter. She has a veil on her face. But yes, she is the same height as Malala as I pointed out with the picture of her standing next to her father. That “other woman” isn’t in the first set of recordings walking off the sidewalk and she is never seen in the photos or videos of when the helicopter landed at the military hospital. So, where did she go?

    • also… the other injured girl, again reportedly shot, gives an interview about the shooting at :43 seconds into the video you posted a link to. I wonder how it is that she too looks perfectly alright. Looks like she’s just hanging out on a couch with some pillows around her. Seems to be talking just fine. What is it about the Taliban that two gunmen open fire inside a van at two kids and can’t seem to hurt either of them?

      • I knew it was worth you watching the vid. – absolutely agree with everything – girl even has a slight smirk while beeing interviewed.

        • here’s another thing… notice they don’t show the gurney being loaded onto the helicopter? Is that because the steps are so steep and narrow they were worried about dropping her, her sliding off the gurney? it’s odd.

          • Are you saying this copter serves no medical purposes – are you saying that somebody with some knowledge of this particular copter told the girl to stay off the gurney until they would be boarded, because there would be danger of her falling off while entering???
            That would be odd indeed.

            • Why wouldn’t they show her being loaded into the chopper? She is after all, the focus of the story. They show them carrying her to the landing area, the helicopter on final approach, then they cut to a bunch of people this story isn’t about getting on the helicopter. Why not show her being loaded onto the helicopter? Isn’t that the whole point of filming that segment? Was watching a bunch of nobodies getting on the chopper more interesting than watching the little injured hero girl get on board?

  7. only explanation I have: the cameras were not really planed to be there???

    • the cameras filmed them moving toward the chopper, then cut, then filmed them boarding the chopper without filming her being put on board. Planned or not, she was the focus of the story, the reason they were there was to film her being taken to the military medical facility, and yet… they chose not to show that key part of the event.

makes me wonder why. what about you?

  8. Am starting to think you have an answer – lol

    • oh, by the way, the reports are now out… she has no brain damage so she’ll be right as rain in a few days so she can take her message of more war on the “evil doers” to the Oprah show and beyond.

  9. Hi, I am so glad you are doing this work of debunking the lies given to us bythe corporate media.I searched “Malala fake”on google and it seems only blogs are covering it. Unfortunately, posting a WordPress link on my Facebook is not going to be convincing to any of my friends and they will think I’m just a conspiracy theorist. I hope members of international media can interview you soon to add credibility.

    • P.s. It would be nice if “f” word and such were not used on this blog;looks more respective.

      • Hi, you must be a lady….:)
yeah, I agree….but you know how men are…
when they get hot under the collar, their language changes a little… its a man thing!

        • Lol true. By the way, I meant “respectable”; I was on my phone so it autocorrected. Well, even if it is a man thing, it makes the blog seem less reputable when it has such words :P

          • Well, Frieda or Sidra (whichever one you are), here in America most American men were serious little cowboys when they were very young and as they got a little older they became truckers, loggers, Marines, Rockers (as in a music band), or aliens….. then around 18 they begin to get serious and choose their professions but always there is a fragment of .the rebel and the ‘fighter’ in our American man and with that is the inherit right to be ‘correct’ when they use that certain ‘F’ word…. but they do choose the time carefully and use it sparingly….
most American men are also gentlemen…
if you want to infer that if someone uses that word, then the knowledge of willy and the commentators are less believable, then I am afraid that your comment makes you less ‘reputable’…. strange how that works here in America.
Have a nice day, Sidra or Frieda, whichever one you are. :)

  10. I really dont know what is going on if this incident never happened then why media is doing so ?????????? and if this really happened then why people are saying that this is scam.can any one answer me plz?what is going on and whats the purpose behind this? why our media and our goverment playing with us whats the real story?really wants to know…………..

  11. Very gud job willyloman. i have been following this story since 3 4 days and so ur articles on the issue. i have just made an account purposefully to reply u.

what i want to say is that i feel sad for those liberals (in pakistan and then rest of the world) if ppl like willyloman / scott creighton comes up with articles like these and anyone who believes on it, becomes suddenly affiliated with “Turrrrorrists”.

On the other hand those liberals consider every bullshit (except commenting on holocaust) as the ‘Freedom of Speech’.

i also feel ashamed being a muslim and pakistani that our pakistani media and pakistani people are persistently ignoring the questions like these.

    http://blog.ale.com.pk/?p=1979

{EDIT: found this on Ale’s Facebook page. Looks like if you love Malala he wants you to support the for-profit school systems in Pakistan… hmmm… what a coincidence that’s what I’ve been writing about for 5 days now…

and this guy is from London… hmmm…..

This is what he had to say on his Facebook page…

Nothing makes me feel better than seeing these good-for-nothing Islamists helpless. The joys of seeing their asses burning before they even plan to explode them off. I wish I can take this as a full time job. Ale Natiq

    Nice}

  16. Lol, you tell me one thing, if they had to stage it, why would they need to place a pile of sheets on the stretcher and make malala walk to the helicopter when they could have continued the puppet show and malala could have got on her feet once inside the helicopter ?

    • There are many different answers for that: she’s a kid and scared of helicopters… they didn’t expect the cameras to continue filming… they couldn’t safely lift her into the small opening on the side rather than opening the rear of the chopper… all kinds of possibilities… and it may in fact be someone else, someone about the same size, same hair, and same clothing. This aspect of the story is less important than all the other FACTS that prove she was not shot in the face at point blank range. Ever heard of Macho Camacho?
