    When is Kucinich’ term up? Hopefully he’ll get back to “pursuing” the 9/11 put options like he said he would years ago but failed to do so far. He talks a good game from time to time. Not a whole lot of follow through though. What a wife though :-)

    Kucinich is the designated house gadfly, there to give the illusion of dissent or debate, similar to what Ron Paul does on the other side of the isle. Viewed in that context, they both provide a valuable service to the establishment. The problem with rebels(real ones) is that they are few and far between, and like all of us, will wither and die, while concentrations of wealth roll relentlessly onward.

      Kucinich is no Mckinney and neither is Ron Paul.

    Dennis Kucinich has done more good than the rest of the current D.C. Infestors combined. I understand why he voted for the “Obamacare” bill. Sometimes you have to take a step sideways to get around the status quo, and perhaps then step forward. Why blacklist him over this one questionably significant vote?

    I would vote for him if he ran for president. McKinney too. If we toss all the babies out with the wash water there will be no one left.

    Got down to 25 in the overnight round here last night. Had me a nature walk this morning, out in all the greens, golds, bronzes, and colors with no names–except it was concrete I walked on. Took a few of the bends out of the trail, though, when I could, and walked on real ground. Easier on these old knees.

    Had me a guide, too, part of the way–a little yellow butterfly. He’d fly ahead a little, lite, then take off again when I came abreast. Got tired of the game after a while, though, and flew off over the tops of tall grass and weeds like those that Monsanto is murdering, toward some trees and brush that hide a pond that only kids know is there.

    My guide is going to get his hit one of these days, too. Maybe loose one of his wings, grow another set of legs where it used to be–something like that.
