(The candidates will have to be pro-business, pro-IMF, anti-regulation, pro-foreign investments, anti-social safety net, anti-human rights, anti-Palestinian, pro-Israeli, and willing to do or say anything they are told to at the drop of a hat and with no questions asked.)
Bosma Kodmani, a high ranking official in the Paris based Syrian National Council has resigned citing “personal reasons” for her departure. She is not alone in leaving the group… a while ago Randa Kassis also left the umbrella group of organizations cobbled together by Hillary Clinton and her British counterpart.
Meanwhile, as it just so happens, the British and the US are currently starting up a program to “train” the “right kind” of political leadership to take over in Syria when they finally succeed in murdering another leader and destabilizing his country.
Kodmani claimed that there was too much infighting in the SNC and that people were looking to fulfill their own political or personal agendas. Imagine that.
“The groups inside the council did not all behave as one in promoting one national project,” Kodmani said. “Some have given too much attention to their own partisan agendas, some to their personal agendas sometimes. That resulted in a major weakness in connecting closely with the groups on the ground and providing the needed support in all forms.” Reuters
Kassis told reporter on Aug 23rd that she was driven out because she was worried about the growing Islamist domination in the group.
Meanwhile, the US State Department is running “training” operations for potential new political leaders in Syria, making sure they have selected people who “share common values”, meaning the “values” that Hillary Clinton holds.
The training is taking place in Istanbul, the same location where the SNC was forged.
“An underground network of Syrian opposition activists is receiving training and supplies of vital equipment from a combined American and British effort to forge an effective alternative to the Damascus regime…
The schemes are overseen by the US State Department’s Office of Syrian Opposition Support (OSOS) and Foreign Office officials. America has set aside $25 million for political opponents of President Bashar al-Assad while Britain is granting £5 million to the cause of overthrowing the regime.
Mina al-Homsi (a pseudonym) is one of the first graduates of the training.
She now spends her days plotting how to spread seditious messages throughout her homeland through her own network, named Basma.
One of its main activities is to repackage video shot by amateurs into a format that can be used by broadcasters.
In addition to running online television and radio forums, the Basma team have had “tens of thousands” of satirical stickers depicting President Bashar al-Assad as a featherless duck for distribution as agitprop.” Telegraph
Though they claim they aren’t “king making” in Syria, the truth is, that is exactly what they are doing.
“The UK and the US are moving cautiously to help what has been developing within Syria to improve the capabilities of the opposition,” said a British consultant overseeing the programme. “What’s going to come next? Who is going to control territory across Syria. We want to give civilians the skills to assert leadership.” Telegraph
I’m proud to know that what the US State Department considers training people for a fledgling democracy consists of supporting death squads running around in the country killing and torturing people, and processing video’s into propaganda while buying 10s of thousands of slanderous bumper stickers.
Yeah, that’s democracy these days, American style.

While reading the above post an image if that wicked (carton) female who was plotting and plotting to capture 101 Dalmatians in order to kill them and make a coat from the skin of the puppies…. for her to wear…
this image popped in my mind in relation to Hilliary……
There is a rush to get a “NTC” alternative government in Syria before the 66th Session of the UN General Assembly meetings. USA,NATO,PGCS would then rush to recognise this “NTC” and force a decision during the debates. The 66th Session will be attended by a large number of head of states. I only hope Iran, Venezuela, Russia put a stop to this happening.
Newly coined and crowned kings are easy to control, and don’t cost that much. In comparison, Democracy is way too expensive. Also, takes too long. Institutions have to be allowed to form, simmer till their taste gets old, then bought out and their mission reversed by those who sold out.
In projects like this one here, time eventually runs short if blood runs too long. It’s a lesson has to be learned every generation or two, seems like.
Still, they gain some ground every time out.
