UPDATE: Now Warner claims that I have “slammed Tampa cops and likened them to stormtroopers“, which of course I never did and he has no quote to prove it. Like his statement that I am the head cheerleader for Occupy Black Bloc, the guy is just making up one defaming baseless accusation after another. And in this case, he is trying his best to make local police angry at me.
——–
Bill Warner has taken exception to my calling him a “fear-monger” and suggesting he stick to hiding in bushes and snapping pictures of “cheaters”
Yesterday he posted an article claiming that I am the “head cheerleader” for a group he calls “Occupy Black Bloc” and he implied that they have plans to fire-bomb Tampa police officers during the RNC convention here next week which according to Warner, makes me a supporter of such actions.
Obviously I took offense to such an outrageous and unsupportable claim and I took action. Then last night I wrote this article in reply in which I state I will seek legal remedy for that defamation.
Not to be outdone, Warner cleverly writes his own article posting it at 4am this morning, claiming he always sues people and that he will file a suit against yours truly for calling him a “fear-monger”
He decided to revise his original posts, putting in what he feels is “proof” of the dangers of the Occupy movement, yet that image of people fire-bombing police cars with the caption “Black Bloc plans for Tampa police at RNC” remains as does the completely false claim that I support Occupy Black Bloc.
Let’s tak
Bill Warner as fear-monger
fear-monger- scare monger – “:one inclined to raise or excite alarms especially needlessly“
urban dictionary – fearmonger – “One who spreads the ideology of fear through propaganda to fulfill a concealed agenda. Similar to a terrorist, but it fights with information and not direct violence. Politicians, media personas, and internet posters can all be fearmongers.”
mon·ger – noun
1. a person who is involved with something in a petty or contemptible way (usually used in combination): a gossipmonger.
2. Chiefly British . a dealer in or trader of a commodity (usually used in combination): fishmonger.
If you wish to know if Bill Warner is a fearmonger all you have to do is go to his website. He posts the same information over and over again, usually pictures of black bloc agent provocateurs hopping up and down on police cars or holding up signs saying “all my heroes kill cops”. He even has some photos from previous provocateur adventures and makes the claim that “Occupy Seattle thugs destroy shops, Tampa Fl next”. In one image he shows a guy with his arm around a cop and makes the claim “Occupy Movement Violence coming to Tampa/Sarasota area for RNC convention”
Warner also claims that the National Lawyers Guild is a front for the communist party (his “proof” is a flyer from the Committee on Un-American Activities.. that’s right, McCarthy era “redscare” “proof”) and simultaneously calls them “al Qaeda’s law firm”
Russia Today did an article in which they point out Warner’s recent fear mongering in the run-up to the RNC convention. It is in part what prompted my first article on this subject.
Warner had recently gone on the local Fox station to promote the idea that “This is pretty bad,…There’s a lot of trouble coming our way.”
He made the claim that since some Anonymous video came out, the war is on. He fails to mention like RT does that Anonymous is an open group which allows ANYONE to post as Anonymous. That video could have been created and put up by anyone for any purpose, including contractors who have a financial stake in fear-mongering. Could also have been created by agent provocateurs.
None of those facts seems to slow down Mr. Warner though as he later claims some bricks found blocks away from the closed area may just be the future weapons of the pending Occupy Movement violence”…
“These are tactics terrorists use in the Middle East. They will hide bricks in piles in buildings and so forth. They will move into the area start their little protests. Then they will find their pile of bricks and pipes and start busting out windows,”
“Have they more locations with those bricks on roofs some place around town? I don’t know but they’ve done it already. They’ve done surveillance around the area. They know where to go.This is right across the street from the hotel where the media is going to stay,” Warner adds.
On one of his several personal websites, Warner writes, “Anonymous and Black Block seek the overthrow of the US Government, they hate cops and everything they stand for and seek to disrupt the Tampa RNC.” RT
There is absolutely no proof that those bricks were anything more than leftover construction material and in no way has been tied to the Occupy movement or the other PEACEFUL protesters coming to Tampa next week. Code Pink is one of the nearly 60 groups ASIDE from Occupy Movement groups who will be in attendance.
But there is Bill, spreading fear and loathing and even suggesting that the Occupy people intend to attack members of the media who cover the event.
There is no basis for any of that conclusion whatsoever.
fear-monger- scare monger – “:one inclined to raise or excite alarms especially needlessly“
Now, let’s get to the “monger” aspect of all of this. Does he stand to profit from a heightened sense of fear and desperation in Tampa due to his own fear-mongering?
Aside from the fact that he is often called in to do television interviews as an “expert” on terrorism, Mr. Warner runs a business in which he claims to be a “private investigator, crime, terrorism, missing persons”. He also admits to having been a confidential informant and a current partner of InfraGard.
“Private Detective Bill Warner is a member of the FBI Partner InfraGard and has worked as a Confidential Informant (CI) for Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Secret Service on smuggled stolen cars scam and money laundering cases.
Private investigator Bill Warner was put on a Hit List by leaders of Al-Qaeda in Yemen for his role in shutting down Al-Qaeda terror websites.” Bill Warner

2. Chiefly British . a dealer in or trader of a commodity (usually used in combination): fishmonger.
So, does Bill Warner stand to gain from the proliferation of fear in the United States and specifically his local area? The answer of course is yes.
His “evidence”
1. The Cleveland 5
First of all, Bill Warner has no evidence that I support Occupy Black Bloc in anyway and no matter how convoluted his logic is, there is nothing on my website that remotely supports his claim. Period.
Secondly, let’s take a look at the case he sites to prove that Occupy Black Bloc is planning terrorist acts in Tampa.
In many of his recent rants about the pending doom being brought by the Occupy Movement, he cites the case of the Cleveland 5. He included copy and paste quotes from his earlier writings in the first article defaming me. He added this part later in order to support his case I guess.
from Warner’s website: emphasis his
“Hey Scott Creighton how about these Black Bloc terrorist dirtbags Connor C. Stevens, 20, Joshua S. Stafford, 23, Douglas L. Wright, 26; Brandon L. Baxter, 20; and Anthony Hayne, 35, who were arrested by members of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force on the evening of April 30, 2012 in Cleveland Ohio. The suspects tried to bomb the Cuyahoga Valley bridge by remote control using C-4 plastic explosives.” Bill Warner
Unfortunately for Mr. Warner, he leaves out some key facts about the case and one of the most obvious is the fact that these five mentally and socially unstable individuals were approached and led by the nose by an FBI informant named Shaquille Azir.
Azir’s real name is Kelvin Jackson and he has convictions or charges against him in cocaine possession, theft, grand theft, aggravated theft, tampering with records, and writing multiple bad checks.
According to the FBI themselves, career criminal, drug dealer and thief Kelvin Jackson (Shaquille Azir) was paid nearly $6,000 to find the kids who could be entrapped into this plot and then to get the fake bomb material for them to use.
“According to a 22-page FBI affidavit outlining the charges Kelvin not only found these kids (4 of them are under the age of 26 while Kelvin is reportedly 39 years old) and put them up to the alleged plot to blow up a bridge, but he also “fronted” them the money to buy the explosives from yet another FBI informant” Scott Creighton
“Azir arranged for the purchase of the C-4 from an undercover FBI agent. He also fronted the alleged conspirators money for the buy of the material, which had been rendered inert by federal investigators.”
“The FBI source–who has been paid “$5750 for services and $550 for expenses”–has prior convictions for cocaine possession (1990), robbery (1991), and four convictions for passing bad checks between 1991 and 2011, according to the bombing complaint. No mention is made, however, of Azir’s two pending criminal cases.” Smoking Gun via Common Dreams
Now aside from those facts, that these dumb kids couldn’t put together a potato gun on their own if they hadn’t been led around by the FBI informant, the truth is, they had NOTHING to do with “Black Bloc” in the first place.
The guy setting them up deliberately kept them away from the Occupy movement once he had selected them for his little project and they formed something he called “The People’s Liberation Army” not “Occupy Black Bloc” as the terrorism “expert” Mr. Warner claims.
They went so far as to give the 5 jobs working on houses that Kelvin Jackson was flipping. Jackson secured them from the rest of the movement, provided them beer, provided them jobs, and served as a mentor for the kids (4 were under the age of 26 I think). In short, Jackson became the most important thing to them and thus when he led them to committing acts of violence, most of them followed yet one backed out 2 days prior to the event.
… on the rap sheet of Azir, who was formerly known as Kelvin Jackson and has recently worked as a landlord and building contractor.
Some of the accused bomb plotters apparently worked on buildings owned by Azir, who told members of the group that he wanted to keep the C-4 “in one of his properties so that they do not have to involve anyone else in the plan.” Two days before the bridge bombing was to occur, one of the alleged plotters, Connor Stevens, decided that he wanted to bail from the conspiracy, according to the federal complaint. However, the 20-year-old Stevens “still wanted to work on CHS’ houses,” reported FBI Agent Ryan Taylor.[...]” Smoking Gun via Common Dreams
When Mr. Warner uses the case of the Cleveland 5 to stoke fear and loathing in Tampa as the shape of things to come, he should probably add a disclaimer that it is well known that these men were cohered into the actions that they are accused of by a career criminal… working for the same organization that Bill Warner is tied to via InfraGard.
He should also mention that he has worked as a confidential informant just like the guy who led them to attempt a terrorist act was.
2. 2010 Toronto G20 Summit photo and other proven provocateur actions
It has been proven on multiple occasions that agent provocateurs have been used to demonize and marginalize various movements and protests. Some examples as follows:
“August 20, 2007, during meetings of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America in Montebello… After the protest, the police force initially denied then later admitted that three of their officers disguised themselves as demonstrators; however, they denied that the officers were provoking the crowd and instigating violence” CBC News
“The watchdog that keeps an eye on the national police force has found that two people arrested during the G20 summit in Toronto in 2010 were plain-clothesed police officers. “And they say the arrested them because they thought they posed threats…. unbeknownst to them, two out of five of those people (who were arrested) were plain-clothesed police officers.” 680 News
In Denver 2008, according to the police’s own reports, they put undercover agents into the crowd of demonstrators who then feigned and attack on a high ranking police chief who was down there which resulted in other officers reacting to the rest of the crowd.
“According to a use-of-force police report obtained by the ACLU, undercover Denver detectives staged a struggle with a police commander to get pulled out of the crowd without blowing their cover. The commander knew they were working undercover, and the plan was to pull them out of the crowd and pretend they were under arrest so protesters would be none the wiser.”…
… “The actions of the undercover detectives on August 25, 2008, may have had the effect of exacerbating an already ‘tense situation,’ as their feigned struggle led nearby officers and the public to believe that a commanding officer was being attacked by protestors and that the situation necessitated the use of chemical agents,” says the letter, written by ACLU staff attorney Taylor Pendergrass.” Denver Post
You can see the results of the pepper spray and mass arrests, here. What’s important to remember is that no protester deliberately attacked the police chief. That was staged, by the cop’s own admission.
The image of the police car being attacked by “Black Bloc” members that Warner uses to make the claim that that is what they have in mind for Tampa police, also comes from the same Toronto 2010 Summit protest in which several undercover officers were arrested by mistake.
It is not my contention that the police department of Tampa have anything like this planned for the coming convention.
It is my contention that Mr. Warner deliberately misleads people knowing full well that these images he uses to stoke fear and anger are from incidents that were at least partially created (and some fully created) to serve that end by people other than the Occupy movement.
Again, I state unequivocally, that I do not suggest the Tampa PD will conduct such operations and that I do not believe they will.
Conclusion:
I think it is a fair conclusion to draw that I have not in any way defamed Mr. Bill Warner in that the conclusion that I drew, that he is a fear-monger, is an apt assessment of his recent behavior as well as the fact that it seems to be a readily drawn conclusion by other legitimate sources such as RT.
It is also fair to say that by using such dubious cases such as the Cleveland 5 and the Toronto 2010 Summit protests to produce fear and dire warnings in Tampa right now, Mr. Warner is deliberately misleading his readers and the population in general for his own concealed agenda be that what it may.
urban dictionary – fearmonger – “One who spreads the ideology of fear through propaganda to fulfill a concealed agenda. Similar to a terrorist, but it fights with information and not direct violence. Politicians, media personas, and internet posters can all be fearmongers.”
On the other hand, Mr. Warner has clearly defamed me and my reputation by falsely aligning me with the kinds of people I just spent hours of research exposing as antagonists and frauds. Clearly I do not support them or actions directed at harming police officers, and there is nothing in my past that will provide Warner evidence to the contrary.
I demand he remove that highly inflammatory insinuation, I do not care what else the man chooses to publish about me on his site (except of course info that could lead to physical harm directed at me or my home) but at that kind of dangerous rhetoric, Mr. Warner has stepped way over the line.

Maybe that man,Warner,is sick? Sounds like he lives in the past a lot… getting his ideas all mixed up..
that happens sometimes, when people get old…
Bill Warner appears to want to become the Rush Limbaugh of the Internet. Since he has stated so much ridiculous baloney about you, why should we even believe his grandiose claims to assorted “credentials”? If he becomes famous he’ll have an even worse time than Limbaugh, since he is attacking protesters, and protesters are often very talented at getting their messages across. If he remains relatively obscure, maybe he’ll try to provoke non-well-to-do bloggers to defame him and then sue them.
His website is incredibly crude, and for all I know, he is just a guy in a basement chugging cheap beer.
While I was Googling “Limbaugh to get the spelling right, I came upon:
Rush Limbaugh Claims Hurricane Is an Obama Conspiracy to Cancel GOP Convention
http://www.politicususa.com/rush-limbaugh-claims-hurricane-obama-conspiracy-cancel-gop-convention.html
Are you also part of this conspiracy, Scott?
That is funny, blues!
yeah, I’m doing my rain dance…
Hey,whats wrong with basements and cheap beer?
The guy is just a garden variety FEAR MONGER jackass in my opinion.
I wish I had a basement and some cheap beer right now. Hurricane on the way…
Yeah, good luck with that man, be safe. My grandmother is in Pensacola, not sure how bad they’re gonna get it.
looks like they will get it worse than us at this point. wish her good luck from me
Ok Scott, this guy might be ¨just a guy in a basement chugging cheap beer¨ (blues)
But Mr. Warner was calling you defamatory for this description:
¨Professional fearmongers like local Muslim-hater Bill Warner¨
I am a little surprised, that you did not mention, or back yourself up to legitimize this (muslim) comment (apt as it may be)
You deleted Mr. Warners spam in the comments section – great.
But even tough you are very open about your beliefs and convictions, the lengthy article here gets me a little worried that you might be worried – perhaps because of this: ¨but these days they (Warners, fearmongers) tend to get a lot of attention from local “news” agencies¨
In a justice system scenario, do you think this guy Warner might hit you over the head with the muslim quote (aka Holocaust denier – kind of subliminal)?
I do not know, but I would hate to see you having to be involved in a court case ( win or loose) with ¨a guy in a basement chugging cheap beer¨
these are such absurd times we live in…
Perhaps the American establishment has angered the son of Odin, who is sending torrential rain as a warning to cease with their potentially catastrophic plans for world domination. Watch for the repubs to retaliate by initiating a “Thor is a muslim” campaign.
Actually the son of Odin was so scared of the continent, that he fled.
