The Syrian destabilization campaign is out in full public view these days. Obama’s fans don’t give a shit what he and Hillary do to other countries just so long as Mitt doesn’t end up in the White House. Top administration officials are reportedly holding daily meetings to plan for the destruction, the “controlled demolition”, of a sovereign state. They are meeting with neocon/Likudnik warmongers from Israel and other “like minded” puppet regimes to figure out the best and fastest way to reduce Syria to a bloody failed state in the Libyan model.
“We’re looking at the controlled demolition of the Assad regime,” said Andrew J. Tabler, a Syria expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “But like any controlled demolition, anything can go wrong.”…
… Russia and China on Thursday blocked tougher United Nations action in the Security Council. This prompted Susan E. Rice, the American ambassador to the United Nations, to say that the Security Council had “utterly failed” Syria and to pledge that the United States will now instead work “with a diverse range of partners outside the Security Council” to pressure the Assad government.” New York Times
All the pretense is gone. President Peace Prize has no intention of following up on the continuation of the Annan peace plan like Russia and China and several real dissident groups in Syria recommend. That won’t do for the global bankers and CEOs that Obama really works for. The ONLY thing they want is complete control of remaking a post Assad Syria and negotiations and diplomacy won’t end in that manner. They HAVE to neoliberalize Syria. They HAVE to privatize everything, open up the country to the corrupt LIBOR and Countrywide MARKETS of hot money speculators. They HAVE to get complicit officials in place in Syria who will sign up for billions in IMF loans which will then be handed over to Bechtel or Halliburton or GE for “reconstruction” that will probably never take place. They HAVE to privatize Syria’s central banking system or Obama’s owners over at the Bank for International Settlements will get angry.
They HAVE to have chaos in the country even after they murder another foreign head of state because if they don’t, if they don’t have their terrorist mercs terrorizing the people of the nation, they won’t turn a blind eye to all the greedy adjustments I just mentioned. See Iraq, Nicaragua, Yugoslavia, Libya, Afghanistan, Angola for details. It’s all been done before.
Nothing new here except the “in your face leftists!” approach by the “progressive” President Obama. Used to be the left at least pretended to be opposed to such things. God forbid John McCain were doing this. There’s not enough room on the streets of DC to hold all the antiwar lefties had he won the election and been doing this. But when Barack the Blessed does it?

In that stupid “Three and a Half Minutes of Truth” video the “hero” teacher tells the leftist woman at his right that the people don’t like liberals because “they lose” and that’s bullshit. They don’t like “the left” because, as I have come to find out, they’re liars, they’re frauds, they’re self-centered, self-absorbed, holier than thou cowards with no backbone and apparently no soul what-so-ever. They worship the status-quo just as much as “W”‘s remaining 32% did before he slimed his way out of office to begin his stellar career as a motivational speaker. The “left” has degenerated into nothing more than Rush Limbaugh’s “ditto heads” with a different product choice.
Meanwhile, British Special Forces are reportedly inside Syria helping the terrorists to plan and execute their terror campaign. So I guess it’s easy to see how Obama and his fellow neoliberal zealots plan to implement their “controlled demolition” of the Syrian state.

So with Obama going against the UN, does that make America an ‘outlaw’ nation?
and why is Russia and China just watching? Are they OK with this? they just want to be recored in history as being against this?
And why can’t Syria take care of its onw business… what right do we have to control their country? This still baffles me! We are like a huge bully that beats up other nations and the world just sits by.. and waits until their turn comes to be bullied….

1. Yes, it does make the US an outlaw, and makes the UN a joke entity.
2. Its all a dirty game.
3.You have no right whatsoever to interfere into the affairs of other countries. The US is nothing but an ugly bully country with a nation that is still dormant. But when the nation finally wake up from its deep slumber, I’m afraid it will be too late. The nation has to awaken now and do something.

It’s a shame that this site is becoming one of the few remaining “untainted” truth sites that hasn’t given into various corrupting elements over the years. Of course, though I would like to take credit for that, truth is, I’ve never been asked. Glenn Greenwald is headed over to the Guardian. Did you hear that? He used to be ok. I got into it with him once, I forget what about. Goodman’s gone, Hedges just seems to constantly miss the point.
I do like Voltaire Network and Tony Cartalluchi (is that how you spell it?). Lizzy Phalan and Electronic Intifada are still good. There are a lot out there that seem to be remaining strong in the face of certain neoliberalization. Webster is alright to some degree but he seems to be trying to position himself for something, or sell some books. His stand on the constitutionality of the individual mandate pissed me off.
There are a few out there and hopefully there will be more and more popping up as the Grand Chessboard plays itself out.
You know, I don’t think I have ever done much in my life without some kind of agenda, whether I knew it or not. Except this. And honestly, now that I’ve been doing this for 5 years straight, I have to say that I haven’t committed to anything like this, for this long, for my entire life. Perhaps there’s a lesson in that for me and if I were to be given to introspective moments, I just might learn something. But alas…
