British Setting Up "Humanitarian" Camps in Syria? Hmmmmm...... I Don't Buy It

Though I don’t doubt for a second that the Rothschild family is getting tired of waiting for their next central bank to privatize and exploit, I have a hard time with this latest development making it’s way around the blog-o-sphere; the claim that the British are planning to set up or have already set up camps inside Syria for “humanitarian reasons”

The Daily Star started a wave of online doom-saying when they published an article called “SAS Set Up Safe Camps in Syria“. Press TV is covering the story, Black Listed News, Godlike Productions, Daily Paul, Alex Jones, NSNBC, and others by now. At least Uprooted Palestinian asks if it’s “tabloid junk“

Meanwhile, RT, and SANA have nothing about this story on their websites. (I guess they looked past the Press TV article like I did and took the time to go check out the original)

Uh, … I don’t buy it. The Daily Star is a rag and they clearly have several other blatant lies in that article alone, much less all the other lies they have been caught peddling to the people like political porn. And oh yes, porn is involved. So for a number of reasons, I don’t buy it. And neither should you.

The premise is that the Brits are either planning to invade Syria this weekend or have already invaded Syria, depending on which paragraph of the article you’re reading at the time.

“BRITISH defence chiefs have drawn up secret plans to set up safe havens for Syrians fleeing President Assad’s killers.

.. SAS troops and MI6 agents are in the country ready to help rebels if civil war breaks out as ­expected this weekend.

… “Safe havens would be an invasion of Syria but a chance to save lives,” said a senior Whitehall source. “The SAS will throw an armed screen round these areas that can be set up within hours.” Daily Star

Technically speaking, if MI6 and the SAS are “in the country” in Syria, they have already invaded and the so-called “safe havens” would be more like the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank. But that’s just a technicality.

Though I don’t doubt that U.S. and British special forces are in Syria aiding the terrorists to plot and plan various heinous acts in order to destabilize the country (old habits are hard to break after all) (we are helping train them in Kosovo and setting up meetings between the Syrian traitors and the old anti-Castro Cubans in Miami) what I do doubt is the fact that the Daily Star would get the scoop on a story like this if someone inside the British Banker led regime would chose to leak it.

The Daily Star is a rag. It’s a celebrity gossip tabloid that wouldn’t have a thing to write about if UK Big Brother never went on the air and soccer players didn’t get drunk and get into fights every other day. They are an impulse buy waiting at the check-out lane just one step up the journalistic evolutionary scale from the papers with pictures of Bigfoot sitting down with Grandma Jones eating crumpets and sipping tea.

Oh wait a minute. I stand corrected. They did do a stellar job on that article they did about Moammar Gadhafi dressing up in women’s clothes and fleeing Libya (guess that one didn’t turn out to be very true either, did it?)

The Daily Star is owned by a billionaire who made his money mainly in porn. His paper has a history of, let’s say, “bending the facts” a bit to sensationalize stories and thus sell papers.

Let’s also remember the official source of the Daily Star’s scoop: a senior Whitehall source.

Yes, the “insider” as he is also referred to is never named in the article like many other bullshit articles published by London based “news sources” on the subject of Syria.

Given the history of the publication, the basic purpose it serves the general public, and of course the source of the scoop, I have to conclude that this story is pretty much, bullshit. And oh yeah, they lie through their teeth…

That only leaves the question of “why?”

Obviously the Daily Star is in the business of getting readers to their websites and buying their parrot dropping material so there is that.

The other possible explanation could be the story that came out the other day about Putin looking to put 20,000 peace keepers on the ground in Syria. True, the Brits would then have to do something to protect their terrorist assets if that were to happen because as the article about the Putin move said, part of their mission there would be to round up and detain foreigners who were there to destabilize the country. I guess that means SAS and MI6 troops along with their new colleagues in al Qaeda.

Could be they feel the need to create a very quick narrative about why they may happen to be on the ground in Syria if the Russians happen to pick up a few SAS officers driving around in a pick-up truck with explosives and dressed like Muslims (like they did in Iraq that time). Or it could be they are using this silly tabloid to threaten Russia hoping to keep them from sending in real peace keepers. Or it could be complete bullshit. Who knows.

But given the past and present performance of the Daily Ragstar, I don’t buy it.
