Bolivia’s leftist President Evo Morales, who has nationalized some utility companies, raised the possibility Sunday of making all natural resource-related industries property of the state.
“Another policy ought to be how we recover, or nationalize, all natural resources, so they are in the people’s hands under state administration,” Morales told a social summit.
The socialist leader of South America’s poorest nation said that “utilities (such as electricity, water and telecommunications) never should be private businesses.”

They already dont like this guy. I wonder if he’ll get cancer like various other leftwing leaders throughout Latin America have. They’re saying Chavez only has about 6 months left to live. That might be wishful thinking on their part though.

Looks like the pressure worked. All kinds of economic penalties came from the US and others after Argentina attempted to nationalize at least some of their own resources. Also, Argentinas President is recovering from cancer of some sort, I forget what kind.
