Oh Lookie: Yet Another Batch of White Guy “Terrorists” (The New Batman Must Be Coming Out Soon)

by Scott Creighton

Well, it would seem that the midnight raid in Chicago saved the day yet again, proving once more that we have to give up our freedoms and security and let the cops bust in our doors with no search warrant so that we can be safe from all those white male aged 23-35 middle class looking “commie faggot” terrorists. And once again, they were after our “Glorious Leader” just like zombie bin Laden was (according to that super secret intel). I guess they were “radicalized’ huh?

One week after a US District Court struck down the constitutionality of the provisions in the 2012 NDAA which allowed for the determination that the United States was part of the battlefield in the fictional “Global War on Terror” we have this: a new “terrorist” threat with 3 white guy perps, citizens of the United States.

What … a… coincidence … that … is …

Congressmen Seek To Lift Propaganda Ban

(This amendment to the military budget proposal would allow the State Department (Hillary Clinton) and the Pentagon (Leon Panetta) to target US citizens with their elaborate propaganda machine generally used overseas. They’ve been running propaganda campaigns in this country for over a century. This would just make it legal in order to protect us from the terrorists who sit around all day hating us for our freedom. Now, that begs the question, who exactly are the terrorists?)

by Michael Hastings, Buzz Feed

An amendment that would legalize the use of propaganda on American audiences is being inserted into the latest defense authorization bill, BuzzFeed has learned.

The amendment would “strike the current ban on domestic dissemination” of propaganda material produced by the State Department and the Pentagon, according to the summary of the law at the House Rules Committee’s official website.

The tweak to the bill would essentially neutralize two previous acts—the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 and Foreign Relations Authorization Act in 1987—that had been passed to protect U.S. audiences from our own government’s misinformation campaigns.

The False Equivalency of the Zimmerman/Alexander Comparison

by Scott Creighton

Making the rounds out there in the “progressive” circles is the story of one Marissa Alexander and how she was given 20 years for simply firing off a warning shot to defend herself from her husband. The false equivalency is the comparison they are all making to the George Zimmerman case claiming it shows stunning hypocrisy that he is out on bail after killing an unarmed kid while she sits in prison for simply firing a round “in the air”

As far as the PR and spin doctors go, this was a great find for them. She is a woman after all and we all know how the right is currently waging a “war on women’ at least that is the distraction for the Obamaites. And also, she’s black so this looks to stir up more racial tension. Take Abby Zimet’s completely insufficient and deliberately inflammatory article “Stand Your Ground (Unless You’re a Black Woman)” article for example. Either Abby doesn’t know the first thing about the Alexander case or she’s  deliberately misleading her readers.

The People Know: BBC National Approval Rating Poll Shows the People Know What’s Up

by Scott Creighton

There’s a lot to be made of this new poll out from the BBC conducted from December 2011 to February 2012 which trends from 22 participating countries which nations the people approve of their global influence and which they do not. Countries not polled include Cuba, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Palestine, and several others which may tend to alter the outcome a bit. But more on that latter.

Gilad Atzmon accurately notes that “Israel, Iran, Pakistan and North Korea were ranked most negatively by 24,000 people surveyed in an annual BBC poll.” but he actually missed the most important part of that story.

You see, the poll not only reflects world public opinion about the influence of various countries but it also shows those attitudes as compared to last year’s numbers.
