UPDATE: Dystel refused to comment directly to Breitbart prior to their publishing this booklet but they have now issued a statement claiming that it was a “fact checking error” on the part of the new partner of the firm that still represents Barack Obama and still makes tons of cash off his books.
Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.
“This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me–an agency assistant at the time,” Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. ” ABC News
I’m not exactly sure someone who has a financial interest in this saying “oppsy” constitutes proof positive, but if the country believed in Super Secret Mountain Terrorist Fortresses as a reason to launch a war, who knows what the people of this country will believe now.
However, in a follow-up story, Breitbart points out that the Dystel & Goderich agency had Obama’s bio listing his place of birth as Kenya up until April 2007 and then they changed it around the time he decided to run for the office of the president. So it seems like Goderich’s little “oppsy” explanation doesn’t hold up to further scrutiny.

You mean to tell me his own agent didn’t know where he was born for over 15 years and they just “figured it out” right before he runs for an office that required him to be a U.S. born citizen?
UPDATE 2: By admitting their “fact checking error”, Obama’s agent has admitted this document is authentic. Just thought I would point that out.
UPDATE 3: Anyone remember this little gem? From June 2004 when the Obama machine had to smear his republican opponent so he would achieve a seat in the senate prior to running for president.

Breitbart News (yes… I know… I know…) has disclosed a booklet from young Barack Obama’s literary agent, Acton & Dystel, from way back in 1991 which seems to make the claim that their author, Barack Obama, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.
I myself have looked into the discrepancies of the document that Barack Obama’s people submitted as proof of his Hawaiian birth and some of the problems with the document do hold up to further scrutiny. Also remember, it was not the republicans who first brought up the issue of Obama’s place of birth but rather it was the Clinton camp during the Democratic Primary of 2008.
Try this… “Open the Obama PDF. Click in the center. Right click and select “Release Clipping Path”. Ta Da! It’s a fake” if you scan in a document then make it into a PDF it doesn’t separate various elements of the image into different layers. Someone doctored it for reasons unknown.

Action (of Action and Dystel) says that Obama would probably have had to approve the bio as one of the authors included in the 36 page booklet.
Interestingly, Dystel still claims to represent Obama and has refused to answer questions about this publication from Breitbart News.

Breitbart themselves take a rather sheepish view of the dramatic disclosure. “Sheepish” is the most polite term I could come up with on short notice.

There are very good reasons to question where President Obama was actually born not the least of which is the multi-layered PDF which passes for proof of his birth in Hawaii. (For that matter, Hawaii was never really ratified in the first place, it was occupied and eventually the new owners of the state just started saying they were. But the real natives of Hawaii never accepted it so why should we? That might be a more productive line of questioning Obama’s claim to U.S. citizenship if you ask me.)
I don’t think that he should be impeached for something like this and I wonder if it is simply being offered as a distraction from his NDAA “Homeland Battlefield Act” defeat or his recent executive order claiming the authority once again to by-pass the due process of law if someone simply writes critically about his new dictator in Yemen. Hard to say.
It’s rather odd that, if this is real, it was written in 1991 and turns out to be exactly what the “birthers” claimed over 18 years later. What a coincidence that would be, huh?
Remember early in the campaign of 2008 when John McCain was being asked about the potential democratic opponents and he claimed he didn’t need to worry about Obama because he had something on him? Sound familiar?
I myself have concluded (and I think I have written it before) that his mother likely was visiting his birth father’s home country late in her pregnancy (as has been reported by everyone) and she got stuck there because the airline didn’t want to her to fly while that close to delivering her child. Given that circumstance, if it was accidental on the part of Obama’s mother, I feel the kid should have been an American citizen regardless.
Therefore I don’t think his actual place of birth is that relevant over and above the rule of U.S. law… in a case like this if that is what happened.
However… if he was involved in producing a falsified federal document to the people of this country then of course that would be an impeachable offense…
… just like it is an impeachable offense for him to authorize the murder of 23 children in Yemen, a country we were not at war with…
… just like it is an impeachable offense for him to make the claim that he has the authority to murder a U.S. citizen for being accused of being critical of his policies in Yemen and then to murder his 16 year old U.S. citizen son just a week later.
We will have to see how this one shakes out, but I am leaning toward… distraction.

Yes, one would think that Obama’s pride in his books would have made him at least check the ‘bio’ written about him… and he had to have approved it… now, how could such a mistake take 21 years to correct? He was born 1961…. so when he was a careful thoughtful full grown man in 1991, (thirty years old) he approved a ‘bio’ that was incorrect? ??
This very likely is a distraction, Scott. This won’t do anything to Obama. Even if it did… he’s a puppet. There are plenty of people that the globalists could easily replace him with, especially through left cover…
Like the birth certificate thing it is a distraction meant ot make it about the puppets and not the string pullers. The “right” gets worked up and distracted and the “left” feels the need to run defense and gets distracted. In my opinion.

Unless the law has been changed since I was in college (where I met lots of Americans born out of the country to one American parent), isn’t all of this just a heavy distraction from what is really going on up top? And I mean above Obama, of course.
Like Scott says, it seems to be another distraction, but… if Obama allowed a deliberate non-correct birth certificate to be proof of his birth in Hawaii, then isn’t that criminal? Would you be allowed to do that? As proof for a driver’s lic? Or the new Federal required ‘Federal ID’ ? What would happen to you?
Funny thing is, the apologists are running with the narrative the Obama may have fudged his background a bit like he did with the compilation girlfriend character in his book.
If you think about it, either way this makes Obama a liar.
If the “birthers” are right, he is lying about where he was born.
If the they are wrong, then he WAS lying about where he was born.
Either way, he lied to his fans at some point in time.
