UPDATE: read Philip Giraldi’s take on this: The Israel Lobby Never Sleeps
———–
Unbelievable. On May 9th 2012, the “United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012” act was passed by the House of Representatives by a landslide. Only two representatives voted against the act, John Dingle and Ron Paul. In fact, to his credit, Rep. Paul gave a rather eloquent speech in the House urging his fellow representatives to vote against it.
Written by Eric Cantor, the act itself is a rather impressive collection of tissue thin lies, deliberate misinformation, pandering of the most obscene type, and historical revisionism the likes of which I haven’t seen since Disney’s last Pocahontas film.
