Fearmongering Jones At It Again

First let me say that I am still reading the U.S. Army Field Manual that Alex Jones is professing to be the end of civilization (here, here, here )as we know it over at his websites (aka “Jones’ Cash Cows”).  But, again, it looks like he is either deliberately missing the point of the US Army Internment Resettlement document (PDF), or he just hasn’t taken the time to actually read it.

I don’t know at this point if this document lays out a plan to ship U.S. citizens off to reeducation camps or not, but what it does define is bad enough.

Over the past 5 decades or so the United States has aided our puppet dictators in removing, disappearing, or simply killing whomever might object to our running their country for the benefit of various banks and corporations. From Suharto to Pinochet to the Shah of Iran, we have aided dozens of murderous dictators to identify, round-up, and exterminate literally millions of dissidents over the course of half a century.

It seems to me that this document that AJ is railing about is about doing just that on an industrial scale in other countries that we have invaded and are occupying, like Afghanistan for instance.  Below is a section on how to train “Host Nations” to ultimately take over for the U.S. military operations of Internment and Resettlement facilities. Remember, we just signed an agreement with our puppet regime in Afghanistan handing over control of these black site prisons and put them in the lead of running the “snatch and grab” midnight raid operations.

HOST NATION TRAINING
2-28. Military police or corrections personnel may be required to provide training and advice to HN personnel for HN detention and corrections operations. Likewise, MI personnel may be required to provide training and advice to HN personnel for proper interrogation procedures. HN personnel should be trained on corrections skill level tasks to handle detainees according to internationally recognized standards for the care and treatment of prisoners or other detainees. Management procedures should provide for the security and fair and efficient processing of those detained. Effective HN internment operations that replace the need for U.S. facilities is a necessary goal of HN training.

As I have stated many times before, in order to impose a totalitarian neo-liberal transition on any country, they have to remove certain segments of the population.  Typically these are those of us on the left, or the “real left” since the Clintons decided to create the fake, New Dems left. This happens throughout the history of the past 50 years or so and there is no reason to believe it will change now.

There is also no reason to assume that it won’t happen here.

This document, as far as I can tell, lays out a process for imposing a fascist totalitarian system on targeted nations- removing “malcontents’ and “belligerents” from the general population before their ideas can spread to the rest of the people. The idea that this could be something produced out in the open by our military is bad enough. Below you will see another section where the military plans to train the “Host Nations” to control population and resources to the benefit of our military. Words like “curfews” , “movement restrictions”, and “rations” definitely remind me of what the Nazis did back in the 30′s or more recently what the IDF is doing in the West Bank right now.

RESETTLEMENT OPERATIONS RESULTING FROM POPULATION AND RESOURCE CONTROL
2-37. Population and resource control denies adversaries or insurgents access to the general population and resources and prevents incidental civilian activity from interfering with military operations. Military police units support local commanders and often assist CA personnel in planning and conducting population and resource control programs employed during all military operations. This assistance may consist of training HN police and penal agencies and staffs, conducting law and order operations, enforcing curfews and movement restrictions, resettling DCs, conducting licensing operations, controlling rations, enforcing regulations, implementing amnesty programs, inspecting facilities, and guarding humanitarian-assistance distributions.

All that being said, there is a section which specifically addresses the question that I am asking “Is this designed to be implemented here in the states?”

SUPPORT TO CIVIL SUPPORT OPERATIONS
2-39. Civil support is the DOD support to U.S. civil authorities for domestic emergencies, and for designated law enforcement and other activities. (JP 3-28) Civil support includes operations that address the consequences of natural or man-made disasters, accidents, terrorist attacks and incidents in the U.S. and its territories.
2-40. The I/R tasks performed in support of civil support operations are similar to those during combat operations, but the techniques and procedures are modified based on the special OE associated with operating within U.S. territory and according to the categories of individuals (primarily DCs) to be housed in I/R facilities. During long-term I/R operations, state and federal agencies will operate within and around I/R facilities within the scope of their capabilities and identified role. Military police commanders must closely coordinate and synchronize their efforts with them especially in cases where civil authority and capabilities have broken down or been destroyed.

I am still reading this. But whether or not it’s about using this process against us, it is still one of the most undemocratic documents I have read. It’s like reading Hitler’s plan before they implemented it.
