Afghanistan Burning: Obama’s “Just War” is Doomed As the Coalition of the Willing Says No More

by Scott Creighton

Barack Obama’s “just war” in Afghanistan may be grinding to a bloody halt. Protesters all across the occupied country are throwing themselves into the gears of our imperialist machinery outraged over NATO forces throwing Korans and other religious material into a burn pit at Bagram Air Base.

The outrage ignited massive anti-occupation protests across the country and those protests sparked the slaughter of over 30 protesters by NATO forces. Notice I wrote “protesters” and not “combatants” or “belligerents” as the Peace Prize administration likes to refer to them these days.

Remains from Flights 93 and 77 Burned and Dumped in Landfill “Shortly After 9/11″

by Scott Creighton

In a report released by the Pentagon and a subsequent press conference, it has been made clear that remains of passengers from Flight 93 (Shanksville) and Flight 77 (supposedly struck the Pentagon) were incinerated and dumped in a landfill somewhere in Virginia. According to a statement made at the press conference, this practice of burning and dumping the remains of the passengers started “shortly after 9/11″

Is anyone else here wondering how they could have separated the body parts of the passengers on Flight 77 from the body parts of the office workers who died in the Pentagon on Sept 11th 2001 without doing DNA testing PRIOR to making that determination?  How is it that just the Flight 77 passengers’ remains went to the dump and not the office workers? Hmmmmm…….

Clinton Admits US On Same Side As Al Qaeda To Destabilize Assad Government

from Global Research

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has acknowledged that Al Qaeda and other organizations on the US “terror list” are supporting the Syrian opposition.

Clinton said: “We have a very dangerous set of actors in the region, al-Qaida [sic], Hamas, and those who are on our terrorist list, to be sure, supporting – claiming to support the opposition [in Syria].” [1] (Click here to watch video)

Yet at the same time, in the above BBC interview the US Secretary of State repeats the threadbare Western claim that the situation in Syria is one of a defenseless population coming under “relentless attack” from Syrian government forces.

Blurred Line Between Espionage and Truth

from New York Times

… The Obama administration, which promised during its transition to power that it would enhance “whistle-blower laws to protect federal workers,” has been more prone than any administration in history in trying to silence and prosecute federal workers.

The Espionage Act, enacted back in 1917 to punish those who gave aid to our enemies, was used three times in all the prior administrations to bring cases against government officials accused of providing classified information to the media. It has been used six times since the current president took office.

Referendum in Syria confirms legitimacy of Assad’s power

from Voltaire Network

Nine of ten participants of the referendum in Syria have upheld the draft of the new constitution. According to the Syrian public television, about 8.5 million people (57.4% of Syrians entitled to vote) took part in the referendum. The new constitution in particular abolishes a one-party system, guarantees the rights and freedoms of Syrian people and defines Syria as a “democratic state.”

Russia welcomes the end of a one-party system in Syria, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said adding that the referendum was a step towards democratization. He also stressed that it is the Syrian people who should take decision on further reforms.

Ranger Describes His Work in Iraq: “We were black bagging people and confiscating their guns. We were Jack booted thugs”

ER Daytrip Revisited

by Scott Creighton

The controlled demolition of the economy of the United States in order to impose a “crisis” reaction to their devised collapse (privatizations) has spawned countless numbers of faceless victims, victims never heard from, victims who’s suffering is never seen. Though the robo-signing mortgage foreclosure fraud is indeed under-reported by corporate media, the ancillary victims of the banking destabilization campaign receive even less press. This story is about one of those people. I don’t know his name, I never met him. But on Sunday morning just after breakfast, I saw him die. I don’t think he had too. This is his story.

Let Your Life Be a Friction to Stop the Machine

Webster Tarpley Discusses Enemies of Syria Conference

The so-called “activists” in Syria are wondering why the world is turning their collective backs on them. The simple answer to that question is that in spite of the propaganda being fed to them via the complicit corporate media and the fake dissident organizations like Democracy NOW!, Saloon, and Media Matters, the rest of the world has come to understand that the “activists” in Syria, like the “activists” in Libya, are greedy, self absorbed foreign mercenaries hired by NATO countries to destabilize Syria with violence and terrorist tactics targeting civilians and government employees alike.

Webster Tarpley went on Press TV to talk about Hillary Clinton’s latest psyop effort, a meeting in Tunisia called the “Friends of Syria” conference.

Obama Lawyer Claims they Can Murder U.S. “Belligerents”

by Scott Creighton

bel·lig·er·ent -

1. Inclined or eager to fight; hostile or aggressive.

2. Of, pertaining to, or engaged in warfare.

These adjectives mean having or showing an eagerness to fight. Belligerent refers to a tendency to hostile behavior: A belligerent reporter badgered the politician.

The Obama administration’s top Pentagon lawyer, the Defense Department general counsel Jeh C. Johnson, said on Wednesday that the Obama administration has the right to target and kill U.S. citizens deemed “belligerents” by the Obama administration no matter what the location of the “belligerent” (outside or inside the United States) without due process and that the courts have no jurisdiction to intervene under any circumstances.

“Belligerents who also happen to be U.S. citizens do not enjoy immunity where non-citizen belligerents are valid military objectives,” Jeh C. Johnson

Since when did someone who our White House decides has a “tendency” toward aggressive behavior toward our occupation of foreign lands become a “valid military objective”?

What does that mean? It means that anyone who could pose a threat to our invasion and occupation of sovereign nations can and will be killed. We used to call these operations “black bag ops” or death squads. Now, with the advent of the new left-cover president, we normalize the process, legitimizing outright state sanctioned murder and death squads under the cover of Peace Prize Obama, the “Greatest Man of Our Generation

And now his mouthpieces claim they can do it to anyone anywhere no matter what your constitutional rights say. Remember the left-wing outcry back when the Bush administration’s lawyers convoluted the law and claimed the right to detain, rendition, and torture foreign “combatants” at will? Remember the dramatic beating of the breasts and gnashing of the teeth of all those “progressives” when McCain and Lieberman pushed the Enemy Belligerent  Bill in 2010 and 2011? Where is the moral outrage now? Seems to me all I hear coming out of the “progressive” left is angst about how many women were on the panel hashing out insurance coverage of contraceptives. I guess the party line towers in the democratic party have bigger concerns about whether or not they get reimbursed for their morning after pills than they do about “belligerents” down the block being deemed a valid military objective. They’re only concerned with what directly effects them.

How quickly they forget.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out –
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out –
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out –
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me. Martin Niemoller

Fox News: Iran “deserves to be annihilated” and the United States is the only country with the “moral authority” to preemptively attack other nations

by Scott Creighton

Tucker Carlson and some Fox News talking head claim that the United States is “the only country that has the rightthe moral authority” to launch preemptive strikes on other nations because we are the only one’s not seeking hegemony in the world.

Carlson goes on… “I do think Iran deserves to be annihilated, I think they’re lunatics, I think they are evil

wow… when outrageous propaganda like this exists without being challenged by every single American regardless of their political alignment, what hope is there for us? This is going beyond Orwell’s wildest nightmares.
