Jon Stewert Praises the Murder of Moammar Gadhafi and the Illegal NATO Bombing of Libya

I have long since determined that Jon Stewart is nothing more than a neo-con war-mongering cheerleader for the globalist elites who’s task it is to  trick the left with his Jerry Lewisesque schtick into supporting some of the worst crimes against humanity in our recent history. Take for example this comment in which Jon Stewart says in “his world” George Bush is not really a war criminal…

“You’ve said, ‘Bush is war criminal.’ Now that may be technically true. In my world ‘war criminal’ is Pol Pot or the Nuremberg trials,” Jon Stewart

As I have pointed out, Stewart hosts one neo-con after another as guests on his show years after their crimes in an effort to help them rebuild their tarnished reputations and sell whatever ghost written books they happen to be hawking that month. Stewart reached a new low when he tacitly supported the Israeli government’s brutal attack on the Mavi Marmara and their criminal attack on the people of Gaza under Operation Cast Lead which resulted in the murder of 1,400 Palestinian civilians 700 of which were children. He has often repeated pure propaganda from Likud type front groups like MEMRI TV demonizing the Palestinian people to his audience of left-leaning Americans and he jumped right on board when South Park was threatened by a fake Muslim convert being played by an ex-Israeli setter.

That is to say nothing of Jon Stewart recent groveling at the feet of the ultimate globalist Bill Clinton.

But if you think all of that war-mongering neo-con spin was bad coming from a so-called leader of the American Left, you haven’t seen anything until you see Jon Stewart’s take on the recent premeditated murder of Moammar Gadhafi (while he was already in custody no less) and the NATO bombing of the people of Libya.

Jon and his writers kick his unfunny propaganda into full gear on this one, barely leaving one single line free of pro-Obama/pro-illegal war spin. It is Orwellian to say the least and completely unsupported by any facts what so ever as you will see.

I will dissect his monologue line by line, exposing the obvious propaganda and the less obvious so others can see how America is being programed even by their supposed “liberal” public figures. We must reject the lies of the morally vapid like the Clintons and Jon Stewart and reclaim the ethical integrity of our earlier roots.

He starts off the segment with a picture of Gadhafi wearing his military garb which Moammar quit wearing years ago. This was to further support the notion that Gadhafi was a “dictator”, a word that Stewart will use to describe him over and over again (10 times at my count).

The first thing Stewart says is that the “rebels” shot Gadhafi because they are “rebels”. This is a joke obviously, but it reinforces the idea that he was killed solely on the decision of the rebels themselves but as we know from the video, Gadhafi was alive and in their custody when put in the ambulance and it was sometime after they had been making contact with western leaders that Moammar was killed with a shot to the head. This would imply that someone higher up in the chain of command gave the order to kill him before there could be an embarrassing trial and considering his immense popularity in Libya there of course is no certainty that he would even be convicted. So he was killed… murdered in cold blood while in custody of the “rebels” who took orders directly from NATO.

Stewart actually jokes about a person being taken prisoner while pleading not to be shot and being killed anyway in cold blood. The audience of “progressives” morbidly laughs along with him. It’s a disgusting moment as bad as a Republican audience booing a gay soldier.

Stewart never mentions the fact that it was a NATO airstrike that hit Gadhafi’s convoy nor does he mention the US drone that led that attack.

Stewart then went on to do a segment where he gives advice to “dictators” about not hiding in holes.

“Hey dictators, what’s up? Oh is that new wallpaper in the rape room? Anyhow, hey listen… at some point the people that you’ve kept under your thumb for however many years are going to turn around and try to hunt you down and at that point you may find yourself with the urge to hide in a hole…” Jon Stewart

How about a little education for Mr. Stewart and his propaganda writers.

Moammar Gadhafi was not a dictator in the sense that Ben Ali, Mubarak, Saleh in Yemen, the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia, or the Royal Family in Bahrain are. He is certainly not a dictator in the sense that Pinochet, the Shah of Iran, or Suharto in Indonesia were. All of these dictators and many others were installed by us and strongly supported by the United States and never referred to by us as dictators. Perhaps Mr. Stewart would do well to read up on Operation Condor and the installation and protection of several right wing dictators in the Southern Cone.

In 1976, only 7 years after helping to lead a successful revolution against the last real dictator in Libya, King Idris, Moammar created a new type of government and at the same time relinquished his title of general secretary of the GPC.

In March of 1977 Gadhafi pushed for the adoption of the  “Declaration of the Establishment of the People’s Authority” Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. The new type of government that he created in Libya was a direct democracy… “the Libyan Jamahiriya was a direct democracy without any political parties, governed by its populace through local popular councils and communes (named Basic People’s Congresses).”

“This jamahiriya, as he called it, was supposedly a form of direct democracy in which power was balanced between a General People’s Congress, consisting of 2,700 representatives of Basic People’s Congresses, and an executive General People’s Committee, headed by a General Secretary, who reported to the Prime Minister and the President”

With this direct democracy the people had a large say in what happened in Libya and the proof is that much of the nationalized oil profits returned to the people in terms of education (free to the people), healthcare (free to the people), and even quarterly profit shares paid directly to each person. Literacy was higher in Libya than any other nation in Africa, life expectancy and infant mortality rates were higher than they are in America, and thus Gadhafi enjoyed a much higher approval rating than any US president in recent history, something to the tune of 90+% (depending on what you read it could have been as high as 96%)

The point is, Moammar Gadhafi was not a dictator. He had taken the title of Revolutionary Leader and commander of the armed forces but the real power lay in the hands of the people and the Basic People’s Congresses and the General People’s Committee. It was the GPC that ultimately approved the largest irrigation system in the history of mankind, the Great Man Made River project literally brought water to the desert.

Aside from all these facts about the actual political and living conditions in Libya, Jon Stewart goes on to call him a dictator over and over again. In the world of propaganda the first thing you learn is that repetition is key. You hear something over and over again and subconsciously you start to accept it as fact with no supporting evidence needed. Stewart’s writers seem to understand this or perhaps they got some help from Mockingbirds.

End of education (since the truth is meaningless to people like Jon Stewart or Glenn Beck)

Stewart goes on to show one clip after another from Fox News. His justification for using such propaganda from a source proven to be discredited is so he can pick fun at them later for not supporting Obama enough for killing a foreign leader in cold blood, but the actual reason he is doing it is to propagandize his audience like Fox propagandizes theirs.

He runs a Fox News clip saying that Gadhafi was “linked” to the murder of Americans; an unproven accusation at best and highly suspect when you look at the facts surrounding the two cases they usually cite. Stewart then makes this statement;

“The first part of that sentence puts him in league with Bin Laden” Jon Stewart

After that Stewart a good deal of time simply repeating some reports from the “rebels” about photo albums and other things to make Gadhafi look as crazy as possible. Again, this is an attempt to dehumanize the man and to undermine the credible things he did in his own country.

He then shows a clip of Hillary Clinton supposedly getting word of Gadhafi’s capture on a cell phone of some kind. Notice that he puts Hillary in the mix here so that his audience will associate her with this “good news”. He didn’t mention her comment about “capturing or killing” Gadhafi nor did he mention her disgusting reaction on CBS earlier that day.

Stewart then shows a clip of a small band of “rebels” celebrating and a few staged psyop scenes of small groups of NTC supporters. This, he claims, is the reaction of the “people of Libya”. This is completely untrue. Go here to see the difference between crowds that support the al Qaeda backed “rebels” and those people who supported Moammar Gadhafi. There is no comparison.

“The Libyan people (reacted) with gratitude and jubilation… but for one group, the death of Gadhafi the dictator and major sponsor of international terrorism… ” Jon Stewart

When the claim is made that Gadhafi was a sponsor of terrorism, that is based on their support of groups like the IRA and the PLO. The Palestinian Liberation Organization is simply fighting to defend their homes against an imperialist/zionist occupation and it was literally the official government of the Palestinian people. The IRA was fighting against the imperialist occupation of their country as well. Arguements can be made on either side about the nature of terrorism and who was behind which “terrorist” attacks in Ireland and Palestine, but the fact is, Gadhafi did not support the MEK or al Qaeda but we did and the use of the technique known as “Shock and Awe” in battle is by definition the definition of international terrorism, so you can decide who really supports international terrorism.

This is perhaps the most offensive propaganda Jon Stewart slops to his audience.

As I have already shown, Gadhafi was no dictator and the people of Libya loved and supported him and the Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. which he created.

The people already had their prideful story of a true revolution they fought and won and earned their independence. That was in 1969 which removed King Idris who had been bought and paid for by French and British multinationals.

They are already chopping up Libya. Clinton and other NATO leaders met with CEOs and board members of a hundred companies when this thing started and they were laying out plans for who gets what when they dice up the spoils of war and raid the nation of Libya. This is exactly what Jon Stewart supports and that is to say nothing of the thousands of Libyan citizens who were killed by NATO bombs under Obama’s “humanitarian intervention”

Cities are devastated and infrastructure is destroyed which will take more billions to repair like what happened in Iraq. The same contractors will be there with the no-bid contracts and billions and billions more will be poured down that black hole over the next few years. So Stewart got that wrong as well.

Is it somehow a “progressive” success if we bomb and invade a nation illegally just so long as not one US soldier dies? What kind of sick, twisted morality is that? Is that the new face of the American Left?

Stewart and his propaganda writers would have you believe it but if there is a little voice in the back of your head as you watch his latest spin that says he sounds a lot like Bill O’Reilly back under the Bush/Cheney years, don’t worry, it’s not a fluke. Stewart serves the same purpose for really the same people.

Honestly, watching his performance, it seems like he is getting sick of playing the Mockingbird or maybe he’s just sick of himself.

Either way, I am sick of him. And hopefully you are too. The sooner we reject obvious clowns like Jon, the sooner we can really reclaim the moral high ground in this country and set ourselves toward fixing this nation. Don’t let people like Jon Stewart pervert your sense of morality with their childishly written propaganda.
