“The richest 1 percent of Americans now take home almost 24 percent of income, up from almost 9 percent in 1976.” New York Times
While Barack Obama and his massive entourage of up to 3,000 people are still skipping through their 10-day, four-country, Asian rock-star tour drumming up new free market trade deals and opening up new NAFTA type markets for the 250 wealthy businessmen traveling with the president on our dime, back home Americans are bracing for a taste of republican leadership in the House of Representatives and all the “compromise” that entails.
“He offered to sit down with Republican and Democratic leaders to see whether there were areas where they could agree. “I have been willing to compromise in the past and I am willing to compromise going forward,” Obama said.” Guardian UK
Mark Penn, former aide to Bill Clinton before, during, and after the Oklahoma City bombing tragedy, claims that all Barack needs is his own “right moment” like Clinton had in Oklahoma City, for the general electorate to get back on his side. He was practically begging some down-and-out Obamaoid to take matters into his own hands, if you know what I mean.
But Penn didn’t stop with just that sinister, disgraceful call for a horrific terrorist act for his own party’s political gain (as if that wasn’t bad enough). No, Mark Penn then went on to suggest that the Obama administration take a lesson from the Clinton regime back when they lost a midterm in ’94 and that they should ”move to the center” as well. Considering that it was Mark Penn himself who suggested the Clinton administration “move to the center” back in late ’94, what he is actually suggesting is that Obama take up his old second-hand advise and use it once again.
