Pretext for False Flag Attack? Military Ships 1,000 Nukes Across County in Unmarked Trucks

by Scott Creighton

Hmmm.

Apparently, the United States military thinks it’s a good idea to ship a thousand or so nuclear warheads across the country in trucks, without military escort, after publishing their starting point and destination, and after they have released pictures of the trucks that are hauling them. And oh yeah, the drivers are drunks.  Does that sound like a good idea to you guys?

At Least One Wikileak is just a Bold Faced Lie – And Its a Significant One

by Scott Creighton

What we are talking about is nothing short of an attempt to rewrite the history of the Dec. 2008 attack on Gaza for the benefit of Israel.

In a recent discussion with Amy Goodman in which she once again reported as fact that the leader of Saudi Arabia wants to “cut the head off the snake”, Noam Chomsky was careful as usual to point out to Amy that one can’t necessarily accept these “leaks” as given fact. He points out that they are some email from some state department flunkie (my words) and that they are in no way proof of anything, much less the wishes of the vast majority of the Arab people.

Deficit commission plan would kill 4 million jobs, analysis finds

by Nathan Diebenow, Raw Story

The preliminary deficit reduction plan recently released by the co-chairmen of the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility would kill four million jobs over the next three years, according to a recently published analysis by the Economic Policy Institute (EPI).

“Using the rule of thumb that a 1% increase in GDP increases payroll employment by 1 million jobs, we estimate that Co-Chairs’ Proposal would thus reduce payroll employment by roughly 723,000 jobs in 2012, 1.4 million jobs in 2013, and 1.9 million jobs in 2014,” economists Josh Bivens and Andrew Fieldhouse said in their report, “Fiscal commissioners’ proposal would cost millions of jobs.”

Bivens and Fieldhouse said in their report that the proposal drafted by former Sen. Alan Simpson (R-Wy.) and Erskine Bowles, President Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff, plays “lip service” to future economic conditions in America.

David Frum Explains Wikileaks’ Value

(yes, here it is folks… the real purpose behind the Wikileaks psyop. You know, just as bad, Amy Goodman on Democracy NOW! was saying pretty much the same thing. There you go “progressives”. You can now get behind the Axis of Evil and Israel’s attacking of Red Crescent ambulances… because Wikileaks says its “ok”)

WikiLeaks builds case against Iran

by David Frum, CNN

Some say that the WikiLeaks document dump has embarrassed the United States government.

Agreed — it is probably no fun to be the U.S. official in charge of calling Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi to admit that our government noticed his Russian business dealings.

But here’s who really should be embarrassed:

• Those who pooh-poohed George W. Bush’s “axis of evil.” WikiLeaks confirms that Iran and North Korea have for years been sharing weapons technology.

• Those who suggest that it’s some “Israel lobby” or Jewish cabal that is driving the confrontation with Iran. WikiLeaks confirms that the region’s Arab governments express even more anxiety than Israel about the Iranian nuclear weapons program.

• Those who have condemned Israel for inspecting or impeding Red Crescent ambulances. WikiLeaks confirms that during the 2006 Lebanon war, Iran smuggled weapons to Hezbollah in Red Crescent vehicles, including ambulances.

• Those who have appeased Red Crescent demands that Israel’s Red Magen David be excluded from international Red Cross organizations. The Red Crescent has been thoroughly penetrated by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and is regularly used as a tool of Iranian foreign policy.

• Those who lamented that Israel’s interception of the Turkish blockade-runner Mevi Marmara would alienate Turkey as a key U.S. ally: The U.S. government itself has for years regarded the Turkish government as trending on its own impetus toward anti-Western Islamist radicalism.

• Those who look blank-faced at the origin of cyber-attacks on Google and other crucial U.S. networks. WikiLeaks documents U.S. awareness that at least one cyber-attack on Google was ordered at the highest levels of the Chinese government.

Real Hope Is About Doing Something

by Chris Hedges, Truthdig

On Dec. 16 I will join Daniel Ellsberg, Medea Benjamin, Ray McGovern and several military veteran activists outside the White House to protest the futile and endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Many of us will, after our rally in Lafayette Park, attempt to chain ourselves to the fence outside the White House. It is a pretty good bet we will all spend a night in jail. Hope, from now on, will look like this.

Hope is not trusting in the ultimate goodness of Barack Obama, who, like Herod of old, sold out his people. It is not having a positive attitude or pretending that happy thoughts and false optimism will make the world better. Hope is not about chanting packaged campaign slogans or trusting in the better nature of the Democratic Party. Hope does not mean that our protests will suddenly awaken the dead consciences, the atrophied souls, of the plutocrats running Halliburton, Goldman Sachs, ExxonMobil or the government.

FBI stopped Portland bomb suspect from taking job before sting

from Daniel Tencer, Raw Story

Though it’s a controversial assertion, observers often point to a link between acts of terrorism and poverty.

In the case of Mohamed Osman Mohamud, the 19-year-old arrested Friday for allegedly trying to blow up an Oregon Christmas tree lighting ceremony, the FBI itself may have created that link.

According to the New York Times, the FBI placed Mohamud on a terror watch list, making it impossible for the young man to fly to Alaska to take a summer job. It was only after Mohamud was blocked from taking the job in June of this year that the FBI — which had been monitoring him since 2009 — made contact with the suspect.

“… But it may also just as easily be the case that the FBI — as they’ve done many times in the past — found some very young, impressionable, disaffected, hapless, aimless, inept loner; created a plot it then persuaded/manipulated/entrapped him to join, essentially turning him into a Terrorist; and then patted itself on the back once it arrested him for having thwarted a “Terrorist plot” which, from start to finish, was entirely the FBI’s own concoction.” Glenn Greenwald

From Potential Peace to The Brink of War – President Peace Prize Strikes Again

by Scott Creighton

(UPDATE: South Korea “accidentally” fired an artillery round and hit the south side of the DMZ. (report at the end of the article))

(UPDATE 2: Pretty soon anything goes in the propaganda wars as journalists have been “asked’ to leave Yeonpyeong Island. Everything we hear about what happens will be from “unnamed military sources” (ie the Marine commander who vowed to kill 2,000 North Koreans)…)

A few days after the South Korean marines staged a phony march in which they sent marines into the streets to “protest” for war against North Korea, the marine commander “vowed” to kill two thousand North Koreans at a service held for the two marines killed in the recent artillery exchange in and around Yeonpyeong Island…

India says writer Arundhati Roy can be prosecuted

(From Obama’s speech in India -

… it is my firm belief that the relationship between the United States and India — bound by our shared interests and our shared values — will be one of the defining partnerships of the 21st century.

… Instead of resisting the global economy, you became one of its engines…

… This year, as India marks 60 years with a strong and democratic constitution, the lesson is clear: India has succeeded, not in spite of democracy; India has succeeded because of democracy.

… For we are two strong democracies whose constitutions begin with the same revolutionary words — the same revolutionary words — “We the people.” We are two great republics dedicated to the liberty and justice and equality of all people.

… Now, let me say it as clearly as I can: The United States not only welcomes India as a rising global power, we fervently support it, and we have worked to help make it a reality.” Barack Obama 2010)

from Raw Story

( links still not working: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/11/arundhati-roy-prosecuted/ )

An Indian court ruled Saturday that award-winning author Arundhati Roy could face prosecution for allegedly speaking out on the disputed region of Kashmir, according to a report.

A court in Delhi allowed the registration of a case against Roy and hardline Kashmiri separatist Syed Ali Shah Geelani, the Press Trust of India reported, without giving further details.

Roy, winner of the prestigious Booker award for her novel “The God of Small Things” in 1997, is a fierce critic of Indian policy in Kashmir, where protests against New Delhi have claimed some 111 lives since June.

… In October, she said in a statement: “What I say (about Kashmir) comes from love and pride.”

“I said what millions of people here (in Kashmir) say every day. I said what I as well as other commentators have written and said for years,” she said.

The main opposition Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party has called Roy’s comments “seditious” and accused the Congress-led government of “looking the other way” by not taking any legal action against her.

FBI Creates Another “Terrorist” Teen: Meet Mohamed Osman Mohamud

FBI Given Credit for Stopping Bombing Attempt, that They Created

by Scott Creighton

So let me get this straight; they came across emails, supposedly in “code”, that stated “a Somali-born teenager“, Mohamed Osman Mohamud, wanted to go to Pakistan to help fight.

So of course, the FBI anti-terrorism task force, sends over an undercover agent who pumps the CHILD up with jihad talks, gives him a “test bomb” to set off in the woods, then has more agents make this CHILD a van bomb (starting to sound like the first WTC attack?), and a van, and DRIVES THE THING TO THE LOCATION WITH THE CHILD, then gets the kid to dial a number on a cell phone.

Had they left the kid alone, he would be in Pakistan at this point and probably killed by a CIA death squad.

Deficit commission’s Simpson calls US seniors the ‘greediest generation’

by David Edwards, Raw Story

Wyoming Republican Alan Simpson has a pretty low opinion of the people that have paid into Social Security all their lives and now need something back.

The co-chair of President Barack Obama’s bipartisan deficit commission lashed out at seniors Wednesday because they are unhappy with his ideas for reducing the deficit by cutting Social Security benefits while reducing corporate taxes.

“I’ve never had any nastier mail or [been in a] more difficult position in my life,” Simpson told Jeremy Pelzer at the Casper Star-Tribune. “Just vicious. People I’ve known, relatives [saying], ‘You son of a bitch. How could you do this?’”

AE Exclusive: High Level Leak from NSA “Wikileaks Prep” Meeting

by Scott Creighton

The following is a partial transcript of a high level NSA and presidential adviser meeting taken from a few pages sent to me by an unnamed source. The meeting took place a month ago at the Council on Foreign Relations building in New York city. The first few pages got eaten up by my fax machine so the transcript begins with the meeting already in progress.
