“See? All those conspiracy theorists were so wrong, so stupid. There is no “New World Order”. How paranoid is that? But there will be a “New International Order”. We need it to keep us safe and spread democracy. Everyone knows that…” a random Amerian progressive
In perhaps his most Orwellian speech to date, Barack Obama addressed the cadets at West Point yesterday. Though his language was stunningly dishonest to the point of a Cheneyesque caricature, the real horror lies just behind the context of what he is saying and goes straight back to the double-speak that defined his election campaign.
Gone is the man who campaigned on ending the “mindset that keeps taking us to war” and in his place is a Disney theme-ride automation programmed to read a script that would have made George Orwell blush.
President Obama on Saturday pledged to shape a new “international order” as part of a national security strategy that emphasizes his belief in global institutions and America’s role in promoting democratic values around the world. MSNBC
For the longest time people like Arron Russo, Michael Rupert, and others have been warning us that there were plans in the works to create a New World Order in which unelected bodies of the global elites would ultimately rule over the entire world through a web of financial institutions, mega-corporations, and privately owned central banking systems. What was once just the stuff of the “whack-job, tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists” has slowly been weened into our collective conciousness by little mentions of it here and there as we were being readied, by spin doctors, to accept this undemocratic end-game as an inevitable and even “pragmatic” consequence of the world in which we live.
But today, with its new title firmly set by the Peace Prize winning president, the “New International Order” is making it’s ready for prime-time debut.
The Bush/Cheney ”Global War on Terror” was also renamed by the “Obama” brand of globalists as the “Overseas Contingency Operations” but I myself have always refered to them as the Global Free Market Wars, because that is what they are.
You see, the big prize in war is not the oil rights or even the pipeline deals like Iraq and Afghanistan had tossed into the mix… the real money, the real prize, is the debt. The debt the “endless war on terror” creates is one thing. That is a big enough prize in and of itself, but the real prize, the ultimate goal, is to also be able to take over the banking system of the targeted nation, then you get not only the war debt of that nation but also the entire debt of its economy. From that debt comes control.
Both Afghanistan and Iraq had nationalized central banking systems prior to our invasion. The second thing Paul Bremmer did when he took over in Iraq was to start remaking the central bank of Iraq; he privatized it. In Afghanistan, they did the same. You see, if you want complete control over the entire world, what you do is force your banking institutions into nations that don’t want them because once you control their economy, the creation of their monetary supply, you control everything else.
“The international order we seek is one that can resolve the challenges of our times,’” he said in prepared remarks. “Countering violent extremism and insurgency; stopping the spread of nuclear weapons and securing nuclear materials; combating a changing climate and sustaining global growth; helping countries feed themselves and care for their sick; preventing conflict and healing its wounds.” MSNBC
The “challenges of our times” were created by us. The neocons and the neoliberals such as Wolfowitz and Clinton and Summers created the environment for the economic crisis that has spread through-out the world. Goldman Sachs, an institution that has poisoned our national economy while worming its way into the halls of power in Washington also exported those same toxic assets via the IMF (International Monetary Fund) to other nations around the world. It was our financial terrorism that we infected the world with just as sure as it was our weapons grade anthrax that was sent to our own halls of congress to frighten them into signing the Patriot Act.
“Countering violent extremism and insurgency” – the word “terrorism” is being slowly edited from our everyday discourse so that now we will see the “extremist” and the “insurgents” as the real “enemy of democracy”. In the New International Order, the threat of ideological differences is becoming as dangerous as that posed by acts of violence. Soon the two will become indistinguishable, ideology and violence, as the president’s case against the American cleric in Yemen shows us.
But the bitter reality is that the “extremists” are anyone who views the events of the world in any way other than the official prescribed way or anyone who holds to a different ideological base other than the official “free market” capitalist agenda. Any who oppose, by force or now by writing, can be an “insurgency”. But the true definition of an insurgency is a resistance to an occupied land. That is what we are doing. Our troops are illegally occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and soon they will be officially in Pakistan and Yemen and others.
“combating a changing climate and sustaining global growth” – The Global Warming fraud has always been about regulating industrial growth in every other nation in the world because the industrial revolution created a strong, educated middle class, which is something that the New International Order is determined to decimate. Basically what they intend to do is to create a two-tiered system all across the world of a few very wealthy people and the vast majority will become a desperate proletariat class.
By including the phrase “sustaining global growth” what Obama and his globalist handlers are saying is they are going to “control global growth”. Nations who do not wish to be invaded by the IMF and World Bank system will ultimately be deemed the “carbon terrorist’ nations. This was made obvious during the Copenhagen meetings. Notes were leaked out and the rest of the collected nations got a glimpse into what the leading western countries were trying to do. They set strict limits for everyone else and yet they were determined to leave western polluters completely alone, or to heap massive free carbon credits on them so they could trade them away for even more profits.
Limiting pollution is obviously a good idea, but it is not what Al Gore and his Enron buddies had in mind when they came up with the Global Warming scam. Hell, they had to rename the initiative because according to their own data, the earth stopped “warming” in 2000.
But they continue to push for it because in the end it will create another massive derivatives market and allow globalist leaders like Barack Obama the cover to hand over control to one of those “global institutions” he mentioned earlier.
“Yes, we are clear-eyed about the shortfalls of our international system. But America has not succeeded by stepping outside the currents of international cooperation,” he said. “We have succeeded by steering those currents in the direction of liberty and justice — so nations thrive by meeting their responsibilities, and face consequences when they don’t.” MSNBC
If America has done anything it has stepped outside the currents of international cooperation in the areas that really count. International Criminal Court, the Geneva conventions, the United Nations Security Council… we have thumbed our noses at all of them in order to pursue a doctrine of unilateral pre-emptive warfare anywhere we so choose in the world. We invade, we occupy, we torture, we deny captives basic human rights… all in the name of our American Exceptionalism. Obama refuses to investigation the well documented war-crimes of his predecessor as he moves on creating his own. We fly drones into bothersome villages and bomb homes, weddings, and even the funerals we produce. Obama even decries he has the right to kill his own citizens at will because there just isn’t enough evidence to put on a reasonably believable show trial.
The “liberty and justice” we have steered into the Middle East is appalling. While Israel bombs and targets poor trapped civilians, Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton are busy propping up some of the most corrupt regimes in the area like Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. And the “liberty and justice” we have installed in Iraq and Afghanistan can only be described as two of the most corrupt and unjust, anti-democratic nations on the planet.
Obama said the United States will pursue a strategy of “national renewal and global leadership.” That is Obamaspeak for “nation building” and “hegemony”.
When he says “so nations thrive by meeting their responsibilities, and face consequences when they don’t” it is a clear threat to all other nations in the world; you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.
In Greece, we can see what happens when nations don’t live up to what the “global institutions” demand of them; that is the “consequence” Barack Obama is speaking of.
The Huffington Post today is carrying a story in which they are amazingly trying to claim that this speech “repudiates” the Bush doctrine. That in and of itself is a remarkable example of mental gymnastics which even their regular “progressive” readers aren’t buying into. With the exception of the obvious trolls, most commenters are trying to figure out how Obama’s speech is a departure from George Bush’s version of American Exceptionalism. They just don’t see it, because it isn’t there.
Obama is etching the New World Order into stone.
If Cass Sunstein and others in congress like Joe Lieberman have their way, articles like this one will be scrubbed out of existence someday soon. Extremist views like this will be removed from the collective archives of our shared history like the Texas schoolbooks will soon rewrite history and teach only free market ideology and the Christian intent of our Founding Fathers. Our children will never learn about the things that a certain class don’t want them to learn.
“Who controls the past, controls the future. Who controls the present, controls the past.”
You see, people like us just think wrong thoughts.
“I have committed, even before setting pen to paper, the essential crime that contains all others in itself.”
So if you find something you like, if you run across something you would hope to show future generations so they know there were some who resisted these coming dark ages, then you had better download them and print them out or save them to a flash drive. Soon enough our shared record on this the greatest vehicle for social change ever invented, will be reduced to Obama’s “repudiation” speech and the well-paid Huffington Post propaganda that supports it. The Ministry of Truth exists and it is called the NSA and the “security” it seeks is the security of the globalist future of America.
President Obama is the most dangerous ladder-climbing narcissistic ”yes man” who has ever pretended to be of presidential caliber. He has no capacity for empathy nor a conscience that would make him suffer for all the harm that he is causing. He is a self-absorbed greedy poster-child for the dawning of the neoliberal age; a paper-thin veneer of integrity stretched over the Bush Doctrine mold.

Excellent post! I completely agree, but it saddens me that so few can see what is being done to them. Sites like yours – and mine – are preaching the choir and likely not reaching the people who need to be reached.
I’m not sure what we can do about that. I’ve long believed that one cannot enlighten another. People can only enlighten themselves. If they’d rather vegetate in front of the TV, watching tawdry shows while stuffing themselves with all manner of chemical poisons, that’s their choice. I do resent, however, being dragged down with them.

I don’t think this new international order will go over any better the new world order. whats the difference between international and world? People around the world, thanks to the internet are becoming more informed all the time. I can’t remember where I read this (curse you short term memory) but some UN spokesperson came out with the shrinking diversity of specis crisis! We need a global org. to tax nations to save the diversity of specis. Something like that. What next? Maybe they can get Al Gore for a spokesperson. I hear he is looking for work.
the difference is the New International Order is endorced by the Happy Happy Joy Joy President, Barack Obama…

Thanks for permission to sing your verse, however I quit sunday school when I got old enough to think for myself. That would be last week! Not really. Off the subject but know one commented on my question about the combat brigade deployed , not stationed, but deployed in the US prior to elections. Anybody else heard of this or did I just dream this?
