So the official story of Waco is that the Branch Davidians ultimately “committed suicide” and that Vince Foster ultimately “committed suicide”. hmm. Bruce Ivins “committed suicide”, Deborah Palfrey “committed suicide”, David Kelly “committed suicide”… hmmmm….
Today there is a lot of talk about what Tim McVeigh (with help?) did in Oklahoma but very few news organizations will dare mention what happened a few years prior. Fox News has a story up about Tim McVeigh. CNN has a story up about Tim McVeigh. ABC has a story about Tim McVeigh. MSNBC has a story about Tim McVeigh. The Huffington Post has a story about Tim McVeigh. The New York Times actually has an Op Ed written by Bill Clinton about Tim McVeigh.
I wonder why Bill Clinton didn’t write a story today called “What Lessons We Learned in Waco, Texas”?
All of these news sources chose to remind us today of what happened 15 years ago. But EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM chose to ignore what happened 17 years ago. Each and every one of them chose to ignore what happened in Waco, Texas. They chose to ignore the horrible deaths of 25 young children. Not a single story about “Remembering the Lessons of Waco” was published on any of these “news” sites.
So therefore, in my quest to help bring the news others don’t cover to the people, I present to you a rememberance of Waco.
