In the American INGSOC, the Two Minutes Hate has been extended to two hours this coming Monday night. Guess they needed more time for commercials.
Rachel (I wanna be Keith Olbermann) Maddow was just on Jon Stewart’s show plugging her upcoming MSNBC “fear the Tea Party” propaganda piece which will air prime-time Monday night. This interview between these two icons of the fake liberal media is a disgusting piece of blatant “progressive” propaganda, the timing of which is extremely suspect.
“The dark side of it is that [McVeigh] really did see himself as part of an anti-government movement in the United States,” she said. “We have that to a greater or lesser degree over time in the US, and right now I think we are experiencing an upswing again in anti-government extremism. Huffington Post
During their little segment of politically correct echo-chamber group think, Maddow and Stewart both delve into the sanitized version of the McVeigh story, completely forgetting to mention little tedious facts like the MSM’s coverage of the removal of the other bombs that had been pre-planted in the building, the eye-witnesses who accurately described the other man getting out of the van, the video of McVeigh filmed on a nearby army base long after he was supposed to have left the military, and the official reports that stated the damage to the Murrah building couldn’t have come from the truck bomb alone.
They both skip over all that info and instead seem to focus on what damage they would like to have done to McVeigh (ie. accused “homegrown terrorists”) were they to have “been in the room with him”. I guess that is supposed to refer to torturing suspects… which they both seem ok with in the case of “extremists”. What ever happened to good old “progressives”? They sound more and more like neocons in congress and on TV these days.
