Steven Jones “Speculating” the Haiti Earthquake was Man Made?

***UPDATE*** This has provided longtime LIHOPY HARPY Jon Gold with all the justification he needs to turn his back on even more evidence in our arsenal and the issue of controlled demolition altogether. Forget Richard Gage, forget all that other stuff, Steven Jones believes in earthquake guns… so the Muslims MUST have done it!

Jones’ actions mean nothing to me. I just won’t promote him anymore or any Controlled Demolition advocates anymore. It’s really that simple.

He was wrong to play with the VERY thin thread of credibility the 9/11 Truth cause has left after years of having to deal with proponents of “batshit crazy” theories. He was wrong, and I’m simply not going to promote CD anymore. At all …  Jon Gold

9/11 disinfo guru Gregg Roberts’s (started off as Jim Hoffman’s partner  (heres a little background on Jim “the evil Muslims did it” Hoffman) and he refused to test for explosive residue in ground Zero Dust) boy Steven (“it’s thermite, no it’s thermate, no it’s superthermite, no it’s nanothermite, no it was hyperbaric thermetic bombs, no… it’s an electric match, one hundred tons worth of unexploded electric matches“) Jones gave an improvised address yesterday at the AE911Truth press conference luncheon that took everyone by surprize when he started addressing the idea of the Haiti earthquake being a man-made event.

(Keep in mind that Steven Jones had connections with Los Alamos National Laboratory, he was on the payroll of the Department of Energy for years, and was a professor at an institution whose president had meetings with Cheney and Bush during their administration. This same institution supposedly forced Jones into retirement because of a paper he posted dealing with 9/11, but for some reason, the two co-authors of this new “nanothermite” paper who work at BYU… are still employed by BYU. Go figure.) 

If Jones wants to speculate about man-made earthquakes as part of some new world order plot to capture the world’s oil supplies, he should say so elsewhere and refrain from sticking it up the 911 Truth Movement’s arse. dearth

Truth activists are understandably upset, the same way I was upset with Dr. Jones when he refused to test for residual traces of high explosives in his famous four samples of Ground Zero dust. Maybe people should start noticing a pattern developing here.

Jones actually went so far as to suggest that without Taggants, no one could test for explosive residues in the dust. That was until I showed him I knew better than that.

I can’t believe what I’m reading!!! Man made earthquakes?? Highly Speculative work???

How can one scientific (sic) we all consider a hero talk about such a speculative subject when AE911, a scientific group that refuse to speculate, is celebrating it’s 1000 membership milestone???  911Blogger

Now, as depressing as this is for some Truth advocates, people have to come to start coming to the conclusion that they should take a little closer look at Mr. Jones’ Truth history. If you can get past the idea that our only scientific evidence is Jones’ BS “thermite,thermate,superthermite,nanothermite” theory, then you can start to objectively review exactly what the man has REALLY done for the movement… which is…

… KEEP INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATORS FROM DOING WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE YEARS AGO… test for residues of high explosives like the ones typically used in CONTROLLED DEMOLITION.

It wasn’t magic, super secret pixiedust that can only be found in the bowels of the super secret military industrial complex (which no one will ever be able to prove because you don’t have access to super secret military development explosives)… and it wasn’t ray beams from space (like his former PARTNERS said it was) and it wasn’t mini-nukes, or holograms of airplanes covering for cruise missiles at the WTC.

It was a CONTROLLED DEMOLITION.

So ANY INVESTIGATIVE SCIENTIST worth ANYTHING would have STARTED with an examination of the Ground Zero dust looking for residues created by the most commonly used high explosives in the controlled demolition industry. 

But what did Jones do? He flat out refused to run the tests (just like the RJ Lee report didn’t test for it, nor did the FEMA report or the first NIST report or the second NIST report that dealt with Building 7) and when I was asking him about it, he told me he had to get approval from Gregg Roberts on the matter.

I didn’t know who Gregg Roberts was at the time. Turns out Gregg Roberts helped Jim Hoffman get his “support the FBI version of what happened at the Pentagon” website up and running. Roberts suggested he didn’t want to run the tests because if it turned out negative, it would look bad for the Truth movement.  I wonder if he thinks Jones’ “man-made Haiti earthquake” chat makes us look good.

9-11 Research is a research consortium consisting of just a few individuals volunteering their time and resources to the effort. The principal contributors to the site are:

• Jim Hoffman, Webmaster and Senior Editor
• Gregg Roberts, Associate Editor
• Victoria Ashley, Research Consultant
• Jan Hoyer, Outreach Coordinator

 But, the die hards at Blogger are working hard to spin up some cover for Jones. I guess they are the types who would rather hang on til the bitter end rather than admit they might have been had.

That said, Dr. Jones’ larger point in this talk, that we should always question the official story behind major events, is a valid one and well worth consideration.

No one person or event can make or break 9/11 truth, so despair is not called for here.  911 Blogger

We should always question the official story behind major events huh? We should question the official story of an earthquake? That doesn’t make us look a little paranoid and idiotic? Perhaps we should question the next lunar eclipse or the official version of that diabolical “theory of gravity” that has been keeping us down for so long. (sorry. that was petty, I know)

The commenter had one thing right, one person cannot make or break the entire movement.

But one person’s influence can cause serious damage, especially if that is what that person has been intending to do all along. This is very true and becomes even more dangerous to real, dedicated Truth advocates, when we have been forced to put all our eggs into one “nanothermite” basket and it “blows up” in our faces (of course, as Jones and Legge have pointed out in their paper and many times afterward, that might be the ONLY THING that “nanothermite” can “blow up”).

… but the biggest news, as far as the nutters on 911 Blogger are reporting it is that Steven Jones is now into researching “man-made earthquakes” and “weather modification”, which should come as no surprise as he announced his interest in chemtrails last year. Good thing they have serious science on their side.  ScrewLooseChange

It’s time we set aside Jones’ ”nanothermite” red herring and focused on other things. Jones’ work is out there and that is fine. So are tons of other quality pieces of research and evidence. Steven Jones’ nanothermite study doesn’t have to be attached to every single initiative we have. It’s a shame that Gage and Griffin are now tied by association to this stuff. But like the commenter above says, despair is not called for yet. Jones has hobbled this movement long enough. It’s time to move in a different direction. Perhaps Jones will pay another vanity press site to peer review another version of his “thermite road show” and he will try to insert himself in the movement again. Who knows. Maybe he will discover some super-duper Kryptonite-thermite in the near future. All we can do is wait and see.

But till then, I would challenge anyone and everyone to zap him and Gregg Roberts an email and just ask them for yourselves. In fact, you can just stand at a microphone at one of their various press conferences and ask them why they refused to test for residual elements of commonly used explosives in the Ground Zero dust that Jones keeps all nice and safe for himself.

 Ask them that and if you really want to, you ask me before you do and I will zap you transcripts of their emails refusing to run the tests, just in case they are not completely forthcoming.

Truth is “Truthers”… you shouldn’t be shocked about Jones’ little credibility undermining “earthquake weapons” chat. He’s been undermining our movement for a long time. When I first realized this fact, I quit the movement. But as you can see, I got over it. Because, this movement IS bigger than one man and try as he might, Steven Jones will not break the will of the Truth movement for long.

***UPDATE*** Well, it looks like the JREF forum is all over this now. We’re doomed. You know, say what you will about Jones’ background, at least he didn’t work with that other fraud, The KeyMaster, like James Randi did. Small world, ain’t it?
