Since 2002, the Pentagon has targeted a new human terrain system, much like those being waged in Afghanistan and Iraq and through-out the middle east; us.  The price tag for bringing us “truth” via Pentagon zealots like Douglas Feith and his Office of Special Plans, will be going up this year by about 50%.

On an abandoned Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas, editors for the Joint Hometown News Service point proudly to a dozen clippings on a table as examples of success in getting stories into newspapers.

Recruitment and advertising are the only two areas where Congress has authorized the military to influence the American public. Far more controversial is public affairs, because of the prohibition on propaganda to the American public.

The emphasis on influence operations started with former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. In 2002, Rumsfeld established an Office of Strategic Influence that brought together public affairs and psychological operations. MSNBC

Madoff tipster says SEC ‘afraid’ to bring big cases

“The SEC is … captive to the industry it regulates and is afraid” to bring big cases against prominent individuals, Markopolos asserted. The agency “roars like a lion and bites like a flea” and “is busy protecting the big financial predators from investors,” he said.

He spoke as several top-level SEC officials, including the agency’s enforcement director, sat three rows back in the packed hearing room, awaiting their turn to testify before the panel.

While the SEC is incompetent, the securities industry’s self-policing organization, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, is “very corrupt,” Markopolos charged. That organization was headed until December by Mary Schapiro, President Obama’s new SEC chief.  AJC.com

The “Impeach Blago” Clause of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

Ever wonder why the Illinois state House and Senate moved so quickly to impeach Rod Blagojevich even though Fitzgerald wouldn’t let them use the evidence in his case against Rod and after Rahm said Blago didn’t try to “sell the Senate seat”? Especially after Bush and Cheney got away Scott-free without being impeached for multiple crimes against the state?

Well, look what Jan, one of our readers here, found; they were blackmailed by the people who wrote the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  In the House version of the Bill there is the following clause on page 14… section 1112 (2)…

1   SEC. 1112. ADDITIONAL ASSURANCE OF APPROPRIATE USE
2   OF FUNDS.
3   None of the funds provided by this Act may be made
4   available to the State of Illinois, or any agency of the
5   State, unless: (1) the use of such funds by the State is
6   approved in legislation enacted by the State after the date
7   of the enactment of this Act; or (2) Rod R. Blagojevich
8   no longer holds the office of Governor of the State of Illi-
9   nois. The preceding sentence shall not apply to any funds
10 provided directly to a unit of local government: (1) by a
11 Federal department or agency; or (2) by an established
12 formula from the State.

So let me make this very clear; the Obama Stimulus package had a clause that forced the state of Illinois to impeach their governor for charges that he hasn’t even been found guilty of, or the people of the state would suffer the consequences.
