Olmert says peace requires Israeli withdrawals

Israel will have to give up virtually all of the West Bank and east Jerusalem if it wants peace with the Palestinians, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in a farewell interview published Monday.

Olmert, who began talks with the Palestinians and Syria during his soon-to-end term, also said Israel would have to leave the Golan Heights in order to obtain peace with Syria.

I don’t agree with everything he says here but he is dead on when he says this $700 billion bailout will further destroy the value of the currency leading to massive inflation, not just here but worldwide; and when he calls for more oversight not just in Wall Street and the SEC, but also oversight of the Federal Reserve System itself. The Federal Reserve is a series of linked privately held banks, with a Board of Governors appointed by the President. They are looking out for the banks best interests in spite of ours, and they have been doing this since their founding.

Yes, Wall Street took a serious drop yesterday to the tune of 700+ points, and believe it or not, we are still here. People aren’t rampaging through the streets looking for puppies to eat; husbands aren’t selling their wives into a life of prostitution; and the overseas markets haven’t collapsed sending the world into complete chaos (In fact, 3 of the 5 main overseas markets, have recorded an increase today according to the chart on the front page of the New York Times). I guess the universe doesn’t revolove around Wall Street stock-brokers, like they say it does. That’s the problem with fear-mongering; once you stand up and look it in the face, it’s rarely scary at all. But all this won’t stop the MSM from trying to act like the world market are in turmoil. They are doing that in order to help pressure the members of the House into passing this scam.

While our own markets surged up 200 points at the opening this morning, President Bush was still pushing his gloom and doom fear-mongering line about how Congress MUST pass this bill before it’s …too late.

Obviously they are trying to steal us blind before we see that this isn’t the end of the world like they promised. MSNBC lists the Bush video speech under “Economy in Turmoil“, doing their part to help terrrorize the American people.

Kashgar: A False Flag Attack in China?

There is a video out there, for now at least, of a compilation of photos that a tourist shot of Chinese Policemen in Kashgar attacking other policemen, with machetes.

The problem is, that the Chinese government reported the incident as a “terrorist attack” when it happened on Aug. 4th.

They said that the “attack carried out by two ethnic Uighur separatists aimed at disrupting the Olympics” and that they had used a truck to run over the police.

These new photos and the 3 eyewitnesses tell a much different story.

Remember what Hitler did in the 1930s when he took Prisoners and dressed them in Polish uniforms and killed them just on the border to make it look like they had been invaded by Poland?

Pelosi and Paulson; Buying Themselves Favor From The Super-Rich With Our Money

There are so many reasons to say no to this bailout plan…

One is that this “compromise” that Off-The-Table-Pelosi is proudly claiming, is that they are holding the price-tag WAY DOWN.

But in reality, they are giving Paulson $250 billion to start with, and another $100 billion, almost immediately, if they need it and ask for it. Do you think Bush will ask for it?  Of course he will.

Then, the other half of the deal, $350 billion, will be handed over after a little while, by law, unless an act of Congress holds it up, which the President can veto, if he chooses. Do you think President Bush will veto it? Of course he will.

If that happens, it will take a super-majority vote to hold up the final payment, and we all know what that means. It means this “plan” they came up with in the dark of night, will STILL cost the taxpayers $700 billion dollars. Funneling the wealth of this country from the working and middle classes to the rich is what they are doing; again.

This “plan” hatched by Pelosi et-al is a fraud; just one more in a long line she has perpetrated on us. We can’t let this one go unchallenged.

This is theft. Pure and simple. Don’t stand for it.

Pelosi says this is not a “bailout plan” but a “buy-in plan”, and she is right; it is her her and Congress’ plan to use our money to buy themselves into the favor of the super wealthy monied class of this country and Great Briton.

Why?

“The $700 billion bailout for Wall Street is driven by fear, not fact,” Kucinich said on the House floor Sunday. “This is too much money in too a short a time going to too few people while too many questions remain unanswered. Why aren’t we having hearings on the plan we have just received? Why aren’t we questioning the underlying premise of the need for a bailout with taxpayers’ money? Why have we not considered any alternatives other than to give $700 billion to Wall Street? Why aren’t we asking Wall Street to clean up its own mess? Why aren’t we passing new laws to stop the speculation, which triggered this? Why aren’t we putting up new regulatory structures to protect investors? How do we even value the $700 billion in toxic assets?”

JP Morgan Chase already recieved one huge payday when they snapped up Bear/Stearns for next to nothing at $2.00 a share while the Fed, with our tax dollars, covered the Bear Stearns losses for them, and now they are ready for the next identical score with WaMu. I guess it pays to have connections to the Board of the Federal Reserve.

The Decemberists give us a stirring reminder of the face of real hope in the world. Not a political false prophet or a swelling call to action… just the faces of  children.

When you watch this, and that feeling creeps up on you… you know, the one that says this isn’t what America is supposed to be about… that’s the real hope of this nation and the only hope for these children.

We have a responsibility to reclaim the control of our armed forces from the less than honorable men that are directing them now. That is our duty as citizens of a constitutional republic. And don’t you ever forget it.

Since this went up in Feb. 2008, how many children have perished in this illegal occupation? At least 60 kids died in one attack in Afghanistan, in what Obama and McCain BOTH refer to as “the right war”.
