Bomb Wearing “Homegrown Terrorist” is to S. 1959 as the Anthrax Attacks is to the Patriot Act

Posted by willyloman on November 30, 2007

by Scott Creighton

In the vein of the anthrax attacks that helped pass the Patriot Act, when they were being held up, now, the S 1959 “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007″, is JUST BY CHANCE, getting the same kind of LUCKY support while it languishes in the Senate and while people like me and many others question it’s constitutionality!

That’s right, a “homegrown terrorist” has strapped what he said was a bomb to his chest and decided to go to a Hillary Campaign headquarters in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Questions For Congressman Kucinich

Posted by willyloman on November 29, 2007

by Scott Creighton

It is with the deepest respect that I ask you this question. I know that you are working hard to hold this current administration accountable through the impeachment process and that there are many within our own party that are working diligently to stop you.

What you are doing takes courage and a deep commitment to the process of law as defined by our constitution, and for that effort, I thank you.

But I must ask you, as a concerned American Citizen, to go even further.

So S 1959 Does Not Pose a Threat? Think Again…

Posted by willyloman on November 28, 2007

 by Scott Creighton

Two of the most common arguments from those who suggest we should not be concerned about S 1959 relate to their assumptions that :

  1. The bill does not contain language that will do anything more than set up a committee,
  2. It is not the intention of the writers of this bill to use it against those people who simply disagree with the commonly held “belief system”.

***UPDATE: During the November 28 CNN special Campaign Killers: Why Do Negative Ads Work?, CNN anchor Campbell Brown said: “General David Petraeus made his reputation taking on insurgents in Iraq. But when he came to Capitol Hill in September, he was confronted by American insurgents, a liberal anti-war group called MoveOn.org.” from an article by Media Matters, here.  ***

S 1959 Will Label Us As Terrorists! Take Action to Stop It.

Posted by willyloman on November 28, 2007

THIS IS AN URGENT ACTION ALERT:

(the following is from Restore the Republic’s Gary Franchi)
S 1959 “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007″ must be stopped at all costs.
Pick up your phone today and contact your US Senator’s office to instruct them to vote “NO” on S.1959.
Click here for your Senators contact info:
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Full PDF text if the bill:
http://tinyurl.com/3a3y2z

If this bill is passed, and becomes law, your words and actions could be considered terrorism.  S 1959 EVISCERATES FREE SPEECH, and empowers the govt. to declare ANYTHING they deem an “extremist belief system”, instantly make you a terrorist, resulting in stripping of US citizenship, torture, and/or execution, with no habeas corpus rights, no ability to challenge even in the US Supreme Court.

Contact your Senator and let them know they will be looking for another job if they vote yes on this bill, which is now introduced into the Senate as S.1959 THIS BILL **MUST NOT** BECOME LAW, PERIOD.

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s110-1959

If this becomes law, your words could be considered “promoting an extremist belief system”, and all they have to say is that you are using PLANNED OR THREATENED *FORCE* (DOES NOT HAVE TO BE VIOLENCE) –FORCE by exposing CORRUPTION, CRIMINALITY against “THE CIVILIAN POPULATION OF THE UNITED STATES, *****OR ANY SEGMENT THEREOF” READ THE BILL MANY TIMES AND VERY CAREFULLY–YOU ARE THE TERRORIST (WHICH MEANS THEY CAN STRIP YOUR CITIZENSHIP, AND HAVE YOU TORTURED AND EXECUTED).

Senate is back in session today, do not hesitate, call, fax, email your Senator ASAP.   Click here for your Senators contact info:

Many have suggested here that this bill does not pose the threat that is suggested by myself and Mr. Franchi….

I have address those comments in a new post here.  It includes text from the bill as well as a must see video from the hearing before the subcommittee.

Dennis and Elizabeth’s Post CNN “Debate” Interview.

Posted by willyloman on November 25, 2007

This is that interview where Kucinich supposedly says he would be open to running with Ron Paul, is really with his wife, Elizabeth.

And a lot of Paul supporters like to talk about her saying of course Dennis would consider it…

But what they don’t tell you is she says that their fiscal ideas are kind of different.

Is Impeachment Our Obligation?

Posted by willyloman on November 23, 2007

by Scott Creighton

What are we bound to under this nation of laws? What intangible power holds us together as a people and as one nation? Do these very ties that bind us one to the other also compel us to act to protect their existence, not only for ourselves but for the generations to come, against all those who would seek to undermine the unalienable Rights endowed at birth to each man, woman, and child in the eyes of the law?

Summary of Kucinich’s Impeachment Resolution

Posted by willyloman on November 19, 2007

by Scott Creighton

It is important for all of us to understand the exact crimes specified in Dennis Kucinich’s impeachment resolution that is before the Judicial Committee of the House of Representatives.

Following the break, I have taken the liberty to convert the resolution into Word format and condensed it to the core elements of the resolution. It is as it was written with only a few examples of evidence removed.

The resolution of impeachment of the Vice President is a 3 charge indictment of wrong doing. Those three charges are represented by the 3 Articles of the resolution of impeachment. Each Article is supported by strong evidence within the resolution.

The three charges against Cheney are as follows:

Article 1. Cheney purposefully manipulated intelligence and made false statements pertaining to Iraq’s possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction, in order to justify an illegal invasion of Iraq.

Article 2.Cheney purposefully manipulated intelligence and made false statements pertaining to Saddam Hussain’s connections to the terrorist organization known as al Qaeda, in order to justify an illegal invasion of Iraq.

Article 3.Cheney is intentionally making false statements and threatening a unilateral invasion of the sovereign nation of Iran, in clear violation of our agreement with the United Nations.

Please read the following summary and feel free to use it as you see fit on your sites or in discussions. The emphasis has been added.

So, Impeachment Will Make the US Look Bad to the Rest of the World? Is that so…

Posted by willyloman on November 18, 2007

 by Scott Creighton

During a conversation my mother had with one of my two uncles, this point was brought up about impeaching Dick Cheney; “Impeachment will make the US look bad to the rest of the world.” I would tend to disagree.

First of all, my mother, poor thing, has the unfortunate task of having to listen to my endless ranting about the various topics you can read here on my blog. She’ not old enough yet to pretend she can’t hear and my apartment is small, so she either fakes a seizure or she has to listen. There is no escape.  I can often see her working out the choice in her head when I call her over to see something or to read a new post. She will scan the floor to see if there is anything in the way that she could actually hurt herself on when she takes the flop…

What I Learned About the U.S. from Watching the “Debate”

Posted by willyloman on November 16, 2007

 by Scott Creighton

We are divided, that much is dreadfully clear: yet it is within that very division that the clearest view sharpens of what this country, and our people trying to survive within it, are becoming. There are, indeed, “two countries” at odds with each other, within our boarders; our townships; and even within our very homes. At the heart of this conflict lays our inner most feelings about the rolls of government and our shared responsibility to the nation and each other.

This is not a Republican verses Democrat issue. As Joe Biden rightly pointed out last night, there are Republicans that want this administration stopped. They want their party back.

The Democratic Party is shattered and our leadership and their MSM co-conspirators do not even want the real issue brought to the surface during these “debates”. But you could feel it last night, couldn’t you?
